The giant black bear chased Garp for half an hour before finally giving up.

Like a little monkey, Garp darted wildly through the forest until he reached rough terrain where the bear’s large body became a disadvantage.

The giant black bear smashed through everything in its path and roared unwillingly, but eventually abandoned its pursuit.Full novel: In One Piece As Garp’s Father — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Hidden beneath a massive rock, Garp panted heavily.

Still shaken, he carefully scanned his surroundings.

Only after confirming that the bear was gone did he sit down in relief and gently rub his right hand.

His entire arm throbbed from colliding with the bear’s fist.

He wasn’t strong enough yet, and his hand had almost been crushed.

Even so, Garp refused to accept defeat.

“Next time, I’ll definitely get my revenge.” After training for a month, he would find that giant black bear and challenge it again.

He now had another target for revenge.

The first was his damn father, who had been acting strangely ever since waking up and seemed determined to get him killed.

First, he would deal with his father.

Then he would settle things with the bear.

“But why did that giant black bear come after me?

I didn’t do anything to provoke it.” After thinking about it for a long time, Garp decided it must have been a coincidence.

The bear had been hunting for food, and he had simply appeared at the wrong time.

He never once suspected his father.

Although his old man possessed a few tricks, Garp didn’t think they were anything special.

He probably wouldn’t stand a chance against the giant black bear either.

Besides, knowing his father, he was surely drinking at home and had probably passed out by now.

“Spending three days out here isn’t so bad.

At least I can stay away from him for a while.” “I won’t have him ordering me around, making me cook or earn money every day.” “I wonder if my friends miss me.

They haven’t seen me in so long.” Thinking about his friends brought a smile to Garp’s face.

In the darkness, they were his only source of warmth.

Garp lay down and prepared to sleep.

Watching from nearby, Jiro was speechless.

Was he really that worthless in his son’s eyes?

What had the original owner of this body been doing all these years?

He hadn’t set even the slightest example as a father.

What a failure.

“Look at me.

I’ve racked my brain to find the perfect way to make him stronger.

He’s happy, I’m happy, and everyone benefits.” It was a plan that accomplished several goals at once.

Jiro could raise his son under the noble banner of paternal care while satisfying a few selfish desires of his own.

After all, who wouldn’t want to beat up the future Marine Hero?

Once Garp grew up, hitting him would become considerably more difficult.

While he was still young, Jiro had to take advantage of every opportunity.

Otherwise, he would regret it later.

He was finally beginning to appreciate the benefits of being a transmigrator.

It felt wonderful.

“This kid can actually sleep in a situation like this.

He’s truly one of a kind.” Garp was so carefree that he could sleep almost anywhere.

Before long, he was already snoring.

He truly was the future Garp, capable of falling asleep anytime and anywhere.

“It’s dangerous late at night, so let Dad give you a little surprise.” To help his son grow stronger as quickly as possible, Jiro spent an entire hour searching for suitable opponents.

Before long, the entire forest came alive.

Wild beasts roared throughout the mountains, shaking the silent woods.

The sudden commotion woke Garp.

“Damn it!

What’s happening?” He closed his eyes, then opened them again.

In just over an hour, wild beasts had surrounded him from every direction.

There was nowhere to escape.

“How did they all get here?” Strange things happened every year, but the past two days had been especially ridiculous.

Could he somehow be attracting disasters?

“Damn it, I have to run.

I don’t want to be torn apart!” A great chase began.

Garp’s short legs carried him frantically through the forest, but every direction he turned revealed another group of beasts.

An endless stream of predators pursued him.

Standing on a treetop, Jiro watched the spectacle with great interest.

“Left.

Go left.” “Idiot, why are you running right?

There’s danger over there.” Garp changed direction in a panic and ran left.

He hadn’t even had time to catch his breath when a second wave of beasts appeared ahead of him.

The uproar was so intense that it frightened away anyone who might have considered entering the mountains.

A small child ran wildly through the forest with an entire horde of beasts behind him.

What a beautiful sight.

Jiro’s smile grew wider.

All he was missing was a bag of sunflower seeds.

The commotion continued for two hours.

The beasts arrived without warning and disappeared just as mysteriously.

Garp was completely exhausted.

He wanted to cry, but he didn’t even have the energy.

Tired, aching, and miserable after running for most of the night, he finally climbed a tree and leaned against the trunk to rest.

He didn’t dare sleep on the ground; it was far too dangerous.

Having enjoyed the show, Jiro returned home in satisfaction.

My son truly is the future Iron Fist Garp.

His vitality is remarkable.

Another day passed, and then came the third.

It was surprisingly peaceful.

Without his father’s “care,” Garp passed the entire day without incident.

Even he found it unbelievable.

The previous two days had brought one disaster after another, yet on the final day, not a single wild beast attacked him.

That somehow felt even more suspicious.

“Three days are almost over.” Garp carefully counted the time.

From the night he had entered the forest, only one hour remained before he could return home.

Hungry, he quickly prepared a simple meal and forced it down.

His cooking was terrible, but he had no other choice.

Once the time was up, Garp headed home.

Standing outside the door, he caught the scent of something delicious.

His stomach growled.

Garp opened the door and froze.

His father was eating roasted meat.

An entire wolf had been cooked, and the old man was happily enjoying it all by himself.

Jiro’s face looked fuller, and his complexion was rosy.

He had clearly eaten extremely well over the past three days.

“Dad, you… I…” Garp felt terribly wronged.

He thought about the nightmare he had endured in the forest, then looked at his father devouring food ten times better than anything they normally ate.

He wanted to cry.

“You ate roasted meat without waiting for me?” Jiro pointed at the small amount of meat remaining.

“Go ahead.

The rest is yours.” Having already eaten his fill, he wiped his hands.

Garp fell silent.

Damn old man.

One day, I’m going to destroy you.

Fifteen minutes later, Garp’s expression changed.

The meat smelled wonderful and tasted even better.

“Dad, is there any more?” Jiro spread his hands.

“No.

There was only one wolf.

If you want another, go catch one and roast it yourself.” “Take your time eating.

I’m going to sleep.” Jiro yawned, his eyelids already drooping.

He returned to his room and claimed the mission reward.

Finger Pistol acquired.

He had now learned two of the Six Powers: the defensive technique Iron Body and the powerful offensive technique Finger Pistol.

With those two abilities alone, Jiro was confident he could dominate the surrounding forest.

“I wonder what reward I’ll receive after learning all Six Powers.

My dear Garp, you must keep working hard.” The son worked hard, and the father collected the rewards.

What a beautiful father-son relationship.

Jiro was so moved that tears nearly filled his eyes.

“Tomorrow, I should arrange a new activity for him.

That nearby cliff would be perfect.” “It’s settled.

Tomorrow’s challenge will be the cliff.” [System: Truly an excellent father.] [Ding!
