Now that the class president was so eager to invite her, her intentions were quite debatable.
Norris replied reservedly, “I’ll think about it.”
“What’s there to think about?
All of our classmates really want to see you.
You must come tomorrow!”
“Alright, I can’t refuse your hospitality,” Norris answered, “I’ll make time tomorrow.”
Her tone seemed reluctant.
The class president was silent for a while before sending a smiling emoji: “I’ll tell our classmates that Norris will be coming too.”
Norris responded with a smiley face.
The other side’s avatar went dark.
Norris rested her chin on her hand, wondering on her bed, could it be that her classmates think she’s easy to bully now?
After all, the people who should know her best were her high school classmates…

By some coincidence, the reunion was set to be held at “Dark Night”.
Norris did her makeup and arrived at the venue dispiritedly.
She followed the private room number given by the class president and saw a young woman standing by the door from afar.
The woman’s eyes lit up upon seeing Norris, and she ran towards her with a bright smile.
“Norris!
You’re finally here!
We’ve been waiting for you for a long time!” The class president was very enthusiastic.
Norris effortlessly avoided the woman’s outstretched hand, brushed a loose hair from her cheek, and smiled faintly, “I’m sorry, I got stuck in traffic.”
Under the dim lights, Norris’s makeup only made her look even more alluring.
The class president’s smile grew broader, but her eyes darkened.
She opened the door and invited Norris in.
In the spacious private room, nearly thirty people were gathered.
Norris squinted and noticed that almost the entire class was there.
As soon as she stepped in, the room fell silent, and everyone looked at her.
Norris, unconcerned, smiled and walked in.
A female classmate with a beaming smile called out to her, “Norris, come sit with me.”
Norris glanced at her, thinking she must have had plastic surgery; otherwise, she should have recognized her with her excellent memory.
The woman with the influencer-like face laughed coyly, “You probably don’t recognize me, do you, Norris?
I’m Lynn Blythe.
Do you remember me now?”
Norris glanced at her again and smiled faintly, “Sorry, my memory isn’t very good, I can’t remember.”
Lynn’s smile stiffened.
Back at X High School, Amelia Miller was the belle of the ball, and Lynn was competing with Norris for the title of class flower.
To her dismay, she lost to Norris by just one vote.
On the day the results were announced, she asked Norris for a discussion about having a revote, only for Norris to raise her head from her desk with a mocking smile and dismiss her with the word “Childish.” Even after five years, Lynn couldn’t forget the incident.
The first round of the competition for the class flower had been organized spontaneously, but Lynn, known for her beauty since childhood, was extremely unwilling to accept her loss.
She would admit defeat to Amelia, but losing to Norris left her resentful.
In her eyes, she was no less beautiful than Norris, so why did Norris have to outshine her?
Thus, she stayed in Amelia’s and Norris’s shadows for all three years of high school and completely faded into obscurity.
With the class president dominating academically and Norris and Amelia outshining her in terms of beauty, she amounted to nothing in comparison.
Over the years, Lynn believed that the root cause of her unhappy high school life was Norris.
So when the class president mentioned that Norris would attend the reunion, she immediately brought her boyfriend to join the fun.
