Power was everything in this world. It decided your position, your future, and even your chances of survival. The stronger you were, the more respect you received, and the weaker you were, the more dangerous life became. Everyone knew that power was the most important thing in the world, and everyone dreamed of becoming stronger.
But this world was not the only world that existed. There were countless worlds beyond it, and every world had its own people, civilizations, and power systems. Some worlds were peaceful, while others were filled with powerful beings who constantly fought for territory and resources. Because of this, every world needed someone powerful enough to protect it.
That person was known as the World Lord.
Every world had its own World Lord. A World Lord was the strongest protector of their world and stood above all the other powerful beings living there. Their duty was not simply to rule their people, but to protect their entire world from enemies that came from other worlds. If another World Lord invaded, it was the World Lord’s responsibility to stand against them.
Because of this, the existence of a World Lord was extremely important. Without one, a world could easily become the target of another powerful world. A battle between two World Lords could decide the fate of an entire world, which was why even powerful beings thought carefully before challenging one.
Our world also had its own World Lord. As long as our World Lord remained strong, our world was protected from the threats that existed beyond it. People could live their lives, build kingdoms, explore the world, and become stronger without constantly fearing an invasion from another world.
But the existence of countless worlds also meant that our world was only a small part of something much larger.
And beyond those countless worlds...
