In this world, power was not something that could be judged simply by appearance. A person might look ordinary, yet possess strength far beyond what others could imagine. To make the difference in strength easier to understand, the people of this world had divided power into eight major levels. These levels were known throughout the kingdoms, and every powerful being was measured according to them.
The first level was known as the Mortal Level. Mortals were the ordinary people of the world, living their lives without reaching the higher stages of power. Above the Mortal Level was the Knight Level, where a person began to step beyond ordinary limits. Knights possessed strength that ordinary mortals could only dream of.
The third level was the Secondary Knight Level. A Secondary Knight was far stronger than an ordinary Knight, and the difference between the two levels was not something that could easily be overcome. Above them stood the Elite Level, a stage where a person’s strength had already reached a level that made them stand out among the countless beings of the world.
The fifth level was known as the Sovereign Level. Sovereigns were existences whose strength had reached an entirely different height. Above the Sovereign Level was the Transcendent Level, where beings began to step beyond the limitations that bound those beneath them. The difference between a Transcendent and an ordinary warrior was almost impossible for normal people to understand.
The seventh level was the Grand Master Level. Grand Masters were among the most powerful beings known to the people of the world. Their names could shake kingdoms, and their strength was enough to make even powerful warriors cautious. Yet even the Grand Master Level was not the highest level known.
Above all seven levels stood the Elite Warrior Level. It was the highest known power level within the world’s ordinary power system. Reaching this level was an achievement that countless people could only dream of, and those who stood at its peak were treated as extraordinary existences.
These eight levels formed the foundation of the world’s power system. From the weakest Mortal to the mighty Elite Warrior, every step represented a greater level of strength. And although the difference between each level was already enormous, there were still beings in this world who stood far beyond what ordinary people could imagine.
For now, however, these eight levels were all that most people needed to know.
Because in a world where power was everything, knowing your level meant knowing where you stood.
