The forest had finally become silent.

The battle had ended, but its marks were still everywhere. Several trees were broken, the ground was covered with cracks, and large patches of ice remained from the Frostveil family’s attacks. Morry was sitting near a tree while Rin treated his injuries. Lena was helping Kil Ful, while Ravian was checking his condition after his fight with Kaizen.

Kil Ful slowly opened and closed his eyes.Full novel: KIL FUL KING — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

His vision was still slightly painful.

Rin noticed it immediately.

"Your eyes are still hurting?"

Kil Ful nodded. "A little. I think using Eyesight for the first time took more energy than I expected."

Lena looked at him. "Then don’t use it again until you’re completely recovered."

Kil Ful gave a small smile. "I’ll try."

Morry, who was sitting nearby, looked at him.

"You almost defeated Darian without even knowing what your power was."

Kil Ful looked at him. "You awakened your own power too."

Morry looked down at the two swords in his hands.

"Yeah. Twin Soul Blades."

He slowly moved one sword.

Then he moved the second.

"I can feel my energy flowing through both blades separately now. Before, controlling two swords was difficult. But now, it feels completely different."

Ravian looked at him.

"So you became stronger."

Morry nodded. "Definitely."

Ravian smiled slightly. "Good. Then next time, don’t lose."

Morry immediately looked at him.

"I was fighting one of the strongest members of that family."

"You still lost."

"You almost lost too."

"But I won."

Morry became silent for a moment.

Kil Ful looked at both of them and sighed.

"You two are really going to start this again?"

Ravian and Morry looked at him.

"We’re just talking."

Kil Ful shook his head.

After a while, Rin and Lena finished treating everyone’s injuries.

The group finally stood up.

They had spent enough time in the forest.

Their mission was still not complete.

They had to reach the neighboring kingdom and deliver the treaty, and they couldn’t afford to stay here any longer.

Morry placed both swords back into their sheaths.

"Everyone ready?"

Ravian nodded.

Kil Ful looked toward the path ahead.

"Let’s go."

The five of them started walking.

For some time, nobody spoke.

The forest was much quieter now. Only the sound of their footsteps could be heard as they followed the long path between the trees.

Kil Ful walked near Ravian.

After a few minutes, Ravian finally spoke.

"Kil Ful."

"Hmm?"

"That Eyesight of yours... how exactly does it work?"

Kil Ful thought for a moment before answering.

"When I activate it, I can see the flow of energy inside my opponent. Before they attack, their energy moves toward the part of their body they’re going to use."

Ravian listened carefully.

"So you can predict their attack?"

"Not exactly predict it," Kil Ful said. "I can understand the movement before the attack is completed."

Ravian nodded.

"That explains how you were able to avoid Darian’s attacks."

Kil Ful looked at his hand.

"And it also changed my Energy Manipulation."

"How?"

"Before, I used energy normally. But after awakening Eyesight, I can control it much more precisely. I can send energy directly to a specific part of my body."

Kil Ful clenched his fist.

"For example, if I want more speed, I can concentrate my energy into my legs. If I want a stronger attack, I can focus it into my arm."

Ravian looked impressed.

"That could become very useful."

Kil Ful nodded.

"But there’s a problem."

"What?"

"My eyes and mind get tired very quickly when I use it."

Ravian became serious.

"Then you’ll have to learn how to control it without exhausting yourself."

Kil Ful smiled.

"Yeah. I’ll train."

A few steps behind them, Morry had heard everything.

"Looks like both of you got stronger."

Ravian looked back.

"You did too."

Morry smiled.

"Of course."

The journey continued.

As they moved deeper along the road, the forest slowly began to disappear behind them. The trees became fewer, and the path became wider.

After several hours, the group finally reached an open area.

Everyone stopped for a moment.

In the distance, they could see enormous stone walls.

Morry looked ahead.

"Is that it?"

Ravian nodded.

"The neighboring kingdom."

The five of them continued walking.

The walls became larger with every step.

Soon, they could clearly see the massive entrance gate. Several soldiers stood around it, watching everyone who approached the kingdom.

Kil Ful looked at the gate silently.

They had already fought three Elite soldiers on the way here.

And now they were finally standing at the border of another kingdom.

Morry looked at everyone.

"We should be careful from here."

Ravian nodded.

"This place won’t be as simple as the forest."

Kil Ful looked at the huge gate.

"Let’s just finish the mission."

The five of them continued forward.

The massive gate stood directly in front of them.

And finally...

They reached the entrance of the neighboring kingdom.
