The five members of the team stood in front of the massive gate of the neighboring kingdom.
The soldiers guarding the entrance looked at them carefully before allowing them to enter. Once inside, the group followed the road toward the main headquarters of the kingdom.
The city was much larger than Kil Ful had expected.
There were people moving through the streets, merchants selling different items, soldiers patrolling the roads, and powerful energy signatures coming from different parts of the kingdom.
Kil Ful quietly looked around.
"This place is bigger than our kingdom."
Ravian nodded.
"And there are quite a few strong people here."
Morry looked at him.
"You can sense their energy?"
"A few of them," Ravian replied. "Most of them aren’t strong enough to worry about."
Kil Ful smiled slightly.
"Don’t get too confident."
Ravian looked at him.
"I’m just saying what I can sense."
After walking for some time, they finally reached a large building surrounded by several guards.
One of the guards stepped forward.
"Why are you here?"
Ravian took out the treaty.
"We came from the neighboring kingdom. We were sent to deliver this treaty to the head of the group."
The guard looked at the document and immediately became serious.
"Follow me."
The group entered the building.
They were taken through several corridors before finally reaching a large room.
Inside the room, a man was sitting behind a large desk.
He looked calm, but the pressure coming from him was completely different from the soldiers outside.
The five members immediately realized that this man was powerful.
The guard stepped forward.
"Sir, they have arrived with the treaty."
The man raised his head.
"Give it to me."
Ravian stepped forward and handed him the treaty.
The man opened it and carefully read the contents.
After a few moments, he closed the document.
"My name is Birol."
He looked at the five members.
"I am the Sovereign who leads this group."
Everyone remained silent.
Birol looked at their condition.
"You fought on the way here."
Kil Ful was slightly surprised.
"How did you know?"
Birol gave a small smile.
"You don’t need special abilities to notice injuries like those."
Morry looked at Kil Ful.
"He’s right."
Birol placed the treaty on the desk.
"You have completed your part of the mission."
The group relaxed slightly.
Birol continued.
"You should stay here for two days before returning."
Ravian looked at him.
"Two days?"
"Yes," Birol replied. "You have traveled a long distance and fought Elite soldiers. Rest here before you leave."
Kil Ful nodded.
"That sounds good."
Birol called one of the guards.
"Take them to the guest area. Give them whatever they need."
The guard bowed.
"Yes, sir."
The five members followed the guard out of the room.
For the first time since entering the kingdom, they could finally relax.
The next two days passed peacefully.
The group spent most of their time resting.
Morry trained lightly with his Twin Soul Blades, trying to understand his new ability without exhausting himself.
Rin and Lena spent their time recovering from the journey.
Ravian continued practicing his Force Manipulation.
Kil Ful, meanwhile, spent some time testing his Eyesight.
He quickly discovered that he still couldn’t use it for too long.
Every time he activated it, his eyes became heavier after a few moments.
But he could already control his Energy Manipulation better than before.
By the evening of the second day, Kil Ful decided to take a walk.
Ravian joined him.
The two walked through one of the quieter parts of the kingdom.
"This place is peaceful," Kil Ful said.
Ravian nodded.
"Yeah. I didn’t expect that after what happened in the forest."
They continued walking.
Then they noticed two people standing ahead of them.
Both wore the uniform of the kingdom’s Elite soldiers.
Their presence was strong.
One of them looked at Kil Ful and Ravian.
The second man crossed his arms.
"Are you the people who came from the other kingdom?"
Kil Ful stopped.
"Yeah."
The first man stepped forward.
"My name is Maddy."
He pointed toward the man beside him.
"And this is Rony."
Rony looked at Kil Ful and Ravian from head to toe.
"So you’re the ones who defeated those Frostveil soldiers?"
Kil Ful didn’t answer immediately.
Maddy laughed.
"You don’t look very impressive."
Ravian’s expression changed slightly.
Kil Ful remained calm.
"We didn’t come here to prove anything."
Maddy smirked.
"That’s convenient."
Rony stepped forward.
"You’re Elites, right?"
Ravian nodded.
"Yes."
Rony smiled arrogantly.
"Then maybe you should remember that not every Elite is the same."
Kil Ful looked at him.
"What do you mean?"
Maddy stepped between them.
"We’re both stronger than most Elites you’ll meet."
Ravian gave a small smile.
"That’s a pretty confident statement."
Maddy’s expression became colder.
"It’s not confidence."
He looked directly at Ravian.
"It’s a fact."
For a few seconds, nobody spoke.
Kil Ful could feel the tension rising.
He looked at Ravian.
Ravian was staring directly at Maddy.
The two Elites stood silently facing each other.
Neither side moved.
But both understood one thing.
This meeting was not going to end peacefully.
