Chapter 3 — Kil Ful King
In one of the many kingdoms of this world lived a twenty-three-year-old young man named Kil Ful King. Unlike the powerful warriors whose names were already known throughout the kingdom, Kil Ful had no rank at all. He had never taken the official power examination, which meant that according to the world’s ranking system, his strength remained unknown. For now, he was simply another young man preparing himself for the day that would determine his place in the world.
Kil Ful was not the kind of person who took everything seriously. He was calm most of the time and rarely allowed small problems to disturb him. He also had a naturally funny personality, often making jokes even when the people around him were nervous. Despite that, he was genuinely kind and never looked down on weaker people simply because they possessed less power.
For the past several months, Kil Ful had been training for the annual examination. Every year, people from the kingdoms gathered for the examination, where their strength could finally be measured and their rank determined. For most people, the result of this examination could change their entire future, and Kil Ful was no different. He wanted to discover his own level and finally earn his first rank.
Early one morning, Kil Ful stood alone in a training field outside the city. The sun had just begun to rise, and the field was still quiet. He stretched his arms, looked at the training equipment in front of him, and sighed with a small smile.
"Another day of training..."
He picked up his weapon and looked toward the distant city. The examination was getting closer, and he still had a long way to go. He didn’t know what rank he would receive, and he didn’t know what the future had prepared for him.
But Kil Ful wasn’t worried.
With his usual calm smile, he stepped forward and continued training.
He had no idea that the simple examination he was preparing for would become the first step toward a destiny far greater than anything he could imagine.
