Ran was sitting comfortably, enjoying his bowl of ramen.
After finishing his meal, he washed his own dishes.
Just then, a few customers arrived at the shop, so Ran started helping the grandmother and served food to the customers.
Once all the work was done, Ran was about to say goodbye when he suddenly looked at the time outside and was startled.
“It’s already so late…
If I leave now, I’ll reach Seoul around 3 a.m…”
Then Ran took the photo out of his pocket and showed it to the grandmother.
“Grandma, do you know where this man lives?”
The grandmother carefully examined the photo before writing an address on a piece of paper and handing it to him.
Ran smiled faintly.
“Actually, his wallet fell in a vegetable market in Seoul.
I found it, but he had already left by the time I noticed.
So I came here to return it to him.”
Hearing this, the grandmother was delighted.
“You are a very kind young man.
Make sure you stop by here again when you come back.”
Ran smiled and nodded before leaving.
He began heading toward the address she had given him.
After a long journey, he finally arrived at the location.
Ran stopped there, exhausted.
Looking up at the sky, he quietly said,
“Finally…
I’ve made it…
Why is this place so far away from Gangnam…”
After saying that, Ran leaned against a nearby wall for support.
It was obvious from his face that the journey had completely drained him.
