After today's battle, he had a direct understanding of his territory's combat strength.
Since that was the case, he would continue to exert more effort.
Although there were no professional buildings yet due to the territory's level restrictions,
He had so much knowledge that he could completely create his own textbook.
As long as the logic was self-consistent, that would be enough, and then he would let Milan check it over.
The soldiers could study the textbook in advance.
With the Heaven Rewards Diligence talent, they might be able to advance their profession or change professions earlier.
24: The First Batch of Level Two Professionals
Milan led the guard to the Lizardmen territory.
It wasn't long before Chen Ping received a territory notification.
Your territory has occupied Block 07-01, gaining one Lizardmen lair and 54 Lizardmen slaves.
Underground Lizardmen Lair LV1: Produces 10 Lizardmen per week, with a 1% chance of producing Lizardmen warriors.
"It's alright, passable."
It was still the early stage, so Chen Ping didn't expect this Lizardmen lair to be very high-level.
Instead, he had occupied the Lizardmen's territory, expanding his territory by five square kilometers.
The three conditions for advancing to a Level Four territory had been met.
Chen Ping immediately chose to upgrade.
Congratulations, you have met all the requirements for a Level Four territory.
Chaos Sea Territory 07 has officially advanced to a Level Four territory.
You are the 4th Lord to advance to a Level One territory.
Those who enter the top ten will receive certain rewards based on their ranking.
Another series of joyful notifications appeared.
A pile of treasure chests reappeared in the empty space next to the Lord's Hall.
Upon opening them, he found that they were mostly resource-type materials.
The only special item was that his golden token had been strengthened once more, becoming an effect of +5 Stamina.
His speed ranking for advancing to a Level Four territory had moved up one spot from before.
Chen Ping was quite satisfied with his progress.
As his level increased and his territory grew, his speed would only become faster and faster.
If anyone thought he relied on early opportunities for explosive growth, then they would despair of him in the later stages.
Level Five Territory Requirement 1: Population 500, Ore, Wood, Food, Meat reserves 5000 standard units.
Level Five Territory Requirement 2: Lord's Hall upgraded to Level 5, Lord determines main development direction.
Level Five Territory Requirement 3: Average territory characteristic score above 300.
Level Five Territory Requirement 4: Possess ten Level Two professional citizens.
The requirements for a Level Five territory appeared in Chen Ping's mind.
Just as he had learned in school, there was no difference.
For Chen Ping, it was a natural progression, even simpler than a Level Four territory.
After all, there were no new forces to conquer or special events to wait for.
The only thing that could be considered a problem was the ten Level Two professional citizens.
A so-called professional is a human with a professional tag.
Like Mail, his profession was a Mage Apprentice.
This profession started at Level Two.
And like the Farmers, even if they upgraded to Farmer due to labor, they were only Level One professionals.
A normal territory could only rely on the Population Hall to recruit Level Two professionals in the early stages.
But Chen Ping's situation was different; under Heaven Rewards Diligence, his citizens had great subjective initiative.
As long as they continued to study or work, they could upgrade their corresponding professional abilities.
So he didn't need to rely on the Population Hall at all; he just needed to specifically train those with special talents to achieve his goal.
He found Milan and circled the talented citizens he had observed in the territory.
He asked Milan to focus on training these people.
Chen Ping believed that within three days, he would have ten Level Two professionals.
As for storing materials, he hadn't forgotten that he had a black card with Max.
A 40% discount was enough for him to exchange for many materials.
Coupled with the top ten rewards, this hurdle was also not a problem.
Everything went so smoothly that Chen Ping was a little dazed.
He had experienced several simulated trials before when he was at the Holy Academy.
The fastest time he had advanced to a Level Five territory was two months.
But with the Heaven Rewards Diligence talent, from the beginning of the trial until now, it hadn't even been a full month...
The destruction of the Lizardmen territory brought a full sense of security to the citizens.
Everyone's enthusiasm increased, and work efficiency indirectly improved significantly.
The next day was Sunday, and Max arrived as scheduled.
This time, Chen Ping did not conduct any special transactions with Max.
Max also did not propose further cooperation, seemingly due to some taboos he could not yet access.
Chen Ping directly traded with Max at a 40% discount, using some of his territory's output and Lizardmen slaves.
He fulfilled the requirements for upgrading to a Level Five territory.
As for the small tasks Max offered, Chen Ping glanced at them and had no interest at all.
In the early stage, Max couldn't offer any useful tasks.
They were basically things like processing or cultivating, which took time to yield results.
After happily concluding the transaction, Chen Ping continued to integrate knowledge in the Lord's Hall.
The integration of knowledge was the fastest way to improve territory characteristics.
And two days later, he had ten Level Two professional citizens.
Li Xu, who wielded the greatsword, was prominently among them; Milan promoted him to captain of the guard, replacing Milan in managing the guard's daily work.
And Mail happily left his Mage Apprentice profession, upgrading to Alchemists.
Besides that, three Farmers upgraded to Foresters, and one Farmer upgraded to Animal Breeder.
Four Farmers upgraded to Builders.
This was also thanks to Chen Ping's territory wall project; those four Farmers originally had passive talents for architectural mastery.
After building walls day and night, they all upgraded to Level Two professional Builders.
The evolution of these ten people directly invigorated the other citizens in the territory.
Currently, everyone in the territory was eagerly working.
