The employee slightly quivered, “N-no.” She bowed, “I apologize, president Yu.”

A pair of strong and sharp eyes fell on her.

The employee immediately turned to Li Yeli and bowed, “Sorry Miss.”

Who exactly are you?

The employee wondered.

She sneaked a peak at Li Yeli.

“What are you doing here?” Yu Yang ignored the little employee and turned to Li Yeli.

“I’m here for you.”

“You should’ve called me, instead of waiting.”

Yu Yang said, secretly playing with his pinky finger.

“It’s fine, you’re here after all.”

The employee secretely listened to their conversation.

Is she the lady boss?

Judging from the way they interact with each other she must be his girlfriend.

President Yu has a girlfriend!

“Next time, call me beforehand.” Yu Yang stared down at Li Yeli.

“How do I do that?” Li Yeli asked.

The employee beside them blinked.

Yu Yang was rendered speechless.

It took a few seconds before he finally spoke.

“Yena. Take her to my office. I’ll be there in a while.”

He curtly nodded at Li Yeli and walked away with his subordinates following closely behind him.

Yu Yang increased his walking speed.

All wanting to finish quickly and return to his office.

The employee on the other hand was shocked.

No ordinary person could go there…she couldn’t believe she’ll be going there.

She stared at the golden card Yu Yang gave to her and screamed inside, “Paradise peak…” she said softly, totally unfocused to the outer world.

Li Yeli looked at the little employee, “What are you waiting for?”

Yena blinked and quickly replied, “Yes. Miss, right away…follow me.”

We now have a lady boss!

She looked at the other employee on the counter, “Miao Miao? I’ll be back.”

Miao Miao nodded, envious of her.

Yunjing tower, paradise peak.

Ding!

The private elevator doors slid open with a barely audible sigh, and two figures stepped into the threshold of paradise peak.

“This way Miss.” Yena said as she directed Li Yeli further inside.

As Li Yeli raised up her eyes she was washed by the grandeur beauty, she had never seen anything like it.

The immediate sensation is one of hushed one.

The polished luminous marble floor gleamed under the soft, ambient light that seemed to emanate everywhere and nowhere, mirroring the vast sky stretching outside the panoramic windows.

The air was different, crisp and clean, carrying a faint, subtle scent of something akin to fresh ozone and rare woods, to the right, the main living area of the penthouse unfurls an expansive art filled space where curved, sculptural furniture invites contemplation of the city sprawling beneath. But they were not headed for leisure, their path lies to the left.

As they turned, a discreet, white corridor beckons.

It’s not a hallway in the conventional sense, but rather a seamless extension of the grandeur flanked by walls of pale, subtly textured wood that absorbed sound, creating an almost monastic tranquility.

Recessed light guided the way, perfectly illuminating abstract art pieces or perhaps carefully curated delicate glass sculptures set within illuminated alcoves.

They followed the gentle curve of the corridor, the place barely contained people, the only sound they could hear was the soft whisper of their own footsteps.

The temperature was perfectly calibrated, a comfortable embrace that makes the idea of the bustling world outside feel incredibly distant.

As they approached the end of the corridor, a single imposing entrance emerged.

It wasn’t a door you could push open, but rather a tall, wide section of the pale wood wall that slides slightly and effortlessly into the surrounding structure, revealing Yu Yang’s office.

President Yu’s Office,

Stepping inside, the atmosphere shifted subtly, becoming more grounded, yet no less breathtaking.

It wasn’t just an office; it was a command center that perfectly balances power with serenity.

The signature floor-to-ceiling glass wall dominates the far side offering an unparallel direct view of the horizon where the city seems to meet the sky in an endless embrace.

On a clear day, the curvature of the earth feels almost perceptible.

At the heart of the room is a custom-designed, massive desk crafted from dark, rich wood and polished steel.

It was positioned to face the awe-inspiring view, if only Yu Yang was sitting there at the time they entered, it would have placed him in direct command of his panoramic domain.

But who cares?

His aura was still sitting there.

The surface of the desk is surprisingly uncluttered, holding only a sleek, minimalist monitor and a single striking piece of desk art, a delicate living plant.

Behind the desk, a collection of shelves built into the wall displayed a few carefully selected personal items, rare books, a handful of meaningful awards, intriguing artifacts, each hinting at a story.

The seating for visitors consisted of a few exceptionally comfortable, low profile, leather chairs, strategically placed to offer both a clear view of the office and the spectacular vista.
