Earlier, they had dared to compare it to the super-soldier program because both belonged to the field of biological enhancement.
Now the comparison felt ridiculous.
The two technologies were not even on the same tier.
They had known the T-virus was strong.
They had not known it was this strong.
It had taken a playboy run ragged by years of excess and turned him into a close-combat monster capable of overpowering a Tyrant.
The Tyrant was not weak.
As Umbrella’s ace bio-weapon, few things inside that empire could compare to it.
The Abomination might have surpassed it, but that was an accident, uncontrollable and irrational.

He felt as if he were standing in the middle of a rising tide.
Every wave was larger than the last, and he was only a small boat in the water.
With unknown forces entering the world, the future of mutants had become even more precarious.
“Professor!” “The Main Mission looks like it’s about to be completed.” “Look.
The ranking reward.” Storm covered her mouth in shock, and Cyclops leaned forward beside her.
On-screen, Tony finally dropped the Tyrant like a sandbag.
After smashing it senseless, he drove a knee into it and kicked it away like dead weight.
The heavy body slammed into the floor and carved out a small crater.
Tony did not relax after dealing with the worst monster.
He forced his body forward, squeezing every last burst of power out of his cells.
The T-virus Enhancement was not infinite.
Tony was not invincible.
Crushing the Tyrant in a short burst had already drained him.
But the Red Queen was right there.

The thought alone made Tony’s blood race.

He forced down the pain and let the remaining T-virus transformation run wild.
Guided by JARVIS, he burst toward the Red Queen’s location, overtaking Natasha in the horde like a blade cutting through flesh.
“There!” Tony roared and drove his fist down.
The Mark armor released all of its remaining force.
The Red Queen’s mechanical housing shattered.
Circuits sparked beneath the broken shell, electricity dancing around Tony like frantic snakes.
The recoil had crushed part of his right arm armor.
Pale bone showed through torn flesh, and the violent genetic reaction had split his skin in dozens of places.
Blood ran across his body.
He looked brutalized and half-ruined.
But Tony smiled.
Because he finally heard that beautiful sound.
[Ding.] [Artificial Intelligence: Red Queen has been shut down.
Main Mission complete.] [Mission settlement in progress.] [Ranking updates paused…] [Calculating…] “Mission complete?” Black Widow lifted her head from the blood-soaked fight and saw Tony standing over the crushed server module.
A true physical shutdown.
“Damn it.” “He stole it.” Natasha’s expression hardened.
She had fought through the horde to shut down the Red Queen herself, improve her evaluation, beat Tony, and seize the grand prize.
Then he snatched it at the last second.
“Bastard.” She wanted to rush over and stab him a few times.
The system prompt in her ear cooled her down before she could move.

Treasures flashed like a carousel before merging into a line of text.

Natasha forced herself not to stare at them.
