A new chapter is up.

Come in, get comfortable, and let’s see what kind of trouble waits this time ❤️ ✦ “What?” JARVIS’s synthesized voice rang in Tony’s ear, and the arrogant smile on his face froze.

“You’re not about to tell me all of this is real, are you?” “That whole…Full novel: Marvel & DC: Nexus Breach — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Nexus Breach thing?” Tony gritted his teeth.

Even the beautiful women draped around him suddenly lost their appeal.

This was absurd.

It was not even scientific.

Even if other worlds existed, Tony could not simply accept magic, witchcraft, gods, and all the rest of it.

He was a devoted believer in science.

He would rather believe this was some hacker’s impossible new technology.

“Cybersecurity above mine?” Tony murmured.

“Hah.” “Now this is getting interesting.” He watched JARVIS fail one self-check after another, and genuine interest finally broke through his expression.

This was fascinating.

Information technology beyond his own was not something he could ignore.

…

At Kamar-Taj, the Ancient One stepped out beneath the shifting sky.

“Hm?” “The timeline…

changed?” Her yellow hooded robe stirred softly around her.

For once, shock crossed a face that usually looked untouched by time.

Green light spread from her chest as the Eye of Agamotto opened.

Her gaze seemed to peer directly into the future.

…

Far beyond Earth, in Asgard’s Golden Palace, Odin slowly opened his single eye.

“War across other worlds?” Golden light flowed through his gaze.

[Nexus Breach] [Summoned participants will travel to other worlds.

During the process, they may trigger missions and receive vast rewards upon completion…] [Rewards include, but are not limited to, magic, mystic arts, divine artifacts, technology, bloodlines, immortality…] “Rewards?” Odin frowned.

Whether the rewards were real or not remained unknown.

But one thing was certain.

The moment such promises appeared, countless ambitious people would start moving.

“Midgard is going to fall into chaos again,” Odin said, his expression grave.

“Perhaps not only Midgard.” “Witchcraft?

Magic?” Hidden within the palace, Loki let out a quiet scoff as he watched the screen.

He was the greatest sorcerer of the Nine Realms.

He refused to believe that any witchcraft or magic could surpass what he already commanded.

This was nothing but a trick.

Still, the projection itself was interesting.

It could fool plenty of people.

For example, his muscle-headed brother.

“Battle?” “Where is the battle?” Lightning flickered around Thor.

“I must join it.

Let every world know the valor of Asgard!” The images on the screen had ignited the fighting spirit in his chest.

With Mjolnir in hand, Thor was already itching to cast Asgard’s glory beyond the Nine Realms.

…

“Another ambitious player stepping out of the shadows?” Superman frowned.

“And this one wants to drag the whole world into war?” The weight on his shoulders seemed to grow heavier again.

“Bloodlines?” High above the streets, Gwen paused mid-swing, one hand gripping her web line as the electronic screen in front of her displayed the reward preview.

“Did my spider-sense come from some kind of bloodline too?” In Gotham, Bruce Wayne, dressed in black from head to toe, watched the screen.

The promised rewards did not tempt him at all.

His expression only grew colder.

“Weakness.” “Whether this is a prank or the real thing, I need to find its weakness.” The hard lines of Batman’s face settled into determination.

…

“The universe.” “It seems to be getting interesting.” On a street in Manhattan, a blue-skinned, powerfully built man slowly opened his eyes.

He lifted his head toward the screen in the sky.

After a brief flash of surprise, interest spread across his face, as if the universe had finally found a way to surprise him.

One disturbance had become a worldwide storm.

Some people were shocked.

Some turned pale.

Far more treated it as a hoax.

To them, this was a hacker, or perhaps an unknown organization’s act of technological terrorism.

Law enforcement agencies were already moving at full speed, trying to trace the source and make arrests.

In their eyes, this was era-defining information technology, and whoever controlled it needed to be found.

But while the entire world shifted around it, the collision of worlds on the screen finally reached its end.

New text appeared.

[Nexus Breach begins.] [Selecting world…] [Anchor: Resident Evil] [Coordinates: Raccoon City] An invisible boom rolled through the void.

The black screen lit up once more.

This time, the images no longer flashed through one fantasy world after another.

They fixed on a single place.

A cold, terrifying world filled with zombies and monsters.

“What the hell is that?” “Holy crap.

That has to be a monster, right?

That’s definitely a monster.” “I’m gonna lose my lunch.” “If they’re going to show this kind of thing, can they at least blur it?” A corpse-like creature with blackened skin and a twisted, vicious face shot toward the screen, filling it in a sudden close-up.

It looked less like a human being than a monster wearing the remains of one.

Every rotten detail was visible.

Countless people watching felt their stomachs turn.

Then came the wet sound of flesh being torn.

The zombie caught a worker in a white lab coat and bit deep into his neck.

Blood sprayed across the corridor.

Everyone expected the man to bleed out.

Instead, after collapsing, he staggered back to his feet.

Only the face that had once been human had twisted into the same hideous, distorted mask as the zombie that bit him.

“Is that…

infection?” A chill ran through the people watching.

“Those effects are way too real.” “I’m terrified, but I can’t look away.

Have movie effects seriously gotten this good?” “Someone drop the title.

I need the source.” “Same.

Please.” After the first wave of horror, excitement erupted.

At first, most people believed this was a breakthrough in movie effects.

Some even started taking screenshots and posting them in zombie fan circles, where the footage instantly exploded and began climbing every trending list.

…

At Kamar-Taj, the mages gathered in the square lost interest one after another.

“Let’s go.” “It’s fake.” Their expressions shifted from curiosity and caution to open disdain.

Soon, the crowd broke apart and dispersed.

Only an idiot would believe something this ridiculous.
