Too weak?

Roy hadn’t spoken very loudly, but his words still reached Lorna clearly.

“Hearing him, her expression immediately darkened.” She had already deliberately increased the force behind the attack.Full novel: Marvel: Starting With Fish Fish Fruit — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Yet she hadn’t expected Roy’s constitution to be this strong.

In terms of raw impact, those three metal spheres that struck Roy’s chest were already comparable to grenades.

The only difference was that the metal spheres didn’t explode.

They relied purely on kinetic force, while grenades detonated.

Because the spheres were still under Lorna’s control, the three that had struck Roy’s chest neither bounced away nor fell to the ground.

Instead, they remained there as though glued to his body.

Although she had underestimated Roy’s durability, Lorna quickly launched a second wave of attacks.

I refuse to believe every part of your body is that tough!

Lorna didn’t say anything aloud, but the moment Roy saw her expression, he knew she was about to get “serious.” As everyone knew, all flesh-and-blood creatures had vulnerable points.

Humans might not be ordinary animals, but the human body still had plenty of weak spots.

The throat, temples, and back of the head were obvious examples.

And as a man, Roy had one more particularly sensitive weak point than a woman did.

He didn’t know exactly where Lorna planned to strike next, but his instincts told him that her next attack was going to be rather “cruel.” Under Lorna’s control, the three metal spheres seemingly stuck to his body suddenly shot backward.

At the same time, the other three spheres orbiting Lorna like satellites flew out as well.

All six metal spheres accelerated to bullet-like speeds.

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

The sounds of the metal spheres tearing through the air rang out continuously.

Before long, the students surrounding the basketball court could no longer clearly follow their trajectories.

Their extreme speed, combined with the dim nighttime lighting, made them increasingly difficult to track.

Roy didn’t possess any supernatural eyesight.

But unlike the students watching from the sidelines, he could still see the trajectories of all six metal spheres clearly.

Although his status panel only displayed four physical attributes, Strength, Speed, Constitution, and Spirit were far from the only things being enhanced.

Take Speed, for example.

As his movement speed increased, his reaction speed naturally improved as well.

Likewise, an increase in Constitution inevitably brought greater endurance and recovery.

Whether human or otherwise, a living body was a complex and inseparable system.

Significantly improving one attribute would inevitably result in a series of corresponding enhancements.

Although Roy could clearly track all six metal spheres, he still had no intention of immediately attacking Lorna.

Earlier, he had merely given everyone a small demonstration of his durability.

Now, he intended to show off a little of his current speed and evasive ability.

Lorna didn’t keep him waiting for long.

She decisively launched her second wave.

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Unlike before, she no longer directed all six metal spheres at the same target.

Instead, they attacked different parts of Roy’s body simultaneously from multiple angles.

His chest.

His back.

His left calf.

His right hand.

His head.

And the most painful spot on a man’s body.

She really is going for the kill… Roy silently sighed.

Then he immediately began to dodge.

The metal spheres Lorna controlled might not pose much of a threat to him, but he had no intention of standing there and letting himself be used as a target.

Under everyone’s gaze, Roy vanished from where he stood like a cheetah lunging after prey.

His running speed might not have been as fast as the metal spheres’ flight speed.

But the spheres’ flight speed was not the same thing as Lorna’s reaction speed.

A simple example would be bullets.

Even bullets traveling at two or three times the speed of sound could still miss an ordinary person who was running.

Lorna could certainly make the metal spheres fly at tremendous speeds, but that didn’t mean she could control them with perfect precision at those speeds.

Roy didn’t charge directly toward Lorna.

Instead, he moved to the center of the basketball court.

Although he had avoided the first wave from all six metal spheres, Lorna clearly had no intention of giving up.

She immediately redirected them toward him again.

What happened next surprised both Lorna and the watching students.

Under Lorna’s control, all six metal spheres repeatedly attacked Roy from different directions.

Yet no matter what angle they came from or how fast they moved, Roy always calmly slipped away just before they could hit him.

Not only that, but his movements looked completely relaxed.

There wasn’t the slightest trace of panic or desperation.

This… Lorna had never expected Roy to remain so composed while simultaneously avoiding six metal spheres.

Neither she nor the students watching from the sidelines had imagined that in addition to possessing strength and constitution far beyond ordinary humans, Roy also had such astonishing evasive ability.

Cyclops and Storm, on the other hand, wore expressions that practically said, We knew this would happen.

Roy had only been receiving private training for a week.

But during that week, he had already demonstrated his absurdly agile evasive ability in front of them more than once.

Whether it was Cyclops’s optic blasts or Storm’s lightning attacks, Roy could dodge them with relative ease.

If even attacks from Cyclops and Storm had difficulty landing on him, Lorna’s metal spheres naturally had even less of a chance.

To everyone else, Roy’s current evasive ability already looked impressive.

Roy himself, however, wasn’t particularly satisfied.

Observation Haki!

If he possessed Observation Haki, he wouldn’t need to keep changing his position just to evade Lorna’s attacks.

The reason he could currently dodge her metal spheres so easily wasn’t because he was predicting their trajectories in advance.

It was simply because his physical abilities and dynamic vision were vastly superior to Lorna’s.

Put simply, he was using his stronger body to “bully” her.

If Lorna possessed physical abilities comparable to his own, Roy definitely wouldn’t be able to evade her attacks this easily.

After dodging around the center of the basketball court for more than ten seconds, Roy suddenly moved without hesitation and shot straight toward Lorna.

In the blink of an eye, he appeared in front of her.

His right fist flew toward her flat, toned abdomen like a cannonball.

Taking Lorna’s constitution into consideration, Roy didn’t use his full strength.

Instead, he deliberately limited the punch to the level of an ordinary person.

Yet in the very next instant, he realized that he had underestimated her slightly.

A defensive force field!

More precisely, a defensive force field created from an extremely powerful magnetic field!

Just as Roy’s right fist was about to strike Lorna’s abdomen, an unusual sensation came through his fist.

Although it was the first time he had experienced something like this, he immediately understood what had happened.

So you prepared a defensive force field in advance.

Looks like I underestimated you!
