Lu Cheng’s words fell, and all eyes landed on Huo Yuzhou.
His expression remained unchanged, the cigarette clamped between his lips trailing wisps of white smoke that curled upward, brushing past the sinews of his wrist as he coiled his strength, veiling the emotions in his eyes that no one dared to pry into.
Those around him figured that when someone dared to cuckold the living King of Hell, it would end either with the offender dead or the King himself walking away alive.
Then, a low, magnetic voice cut through the dead silence of the private room.
“Since we’ve already paid for the night, why not have some fun?”
His supplementary card had already pinged with a notification—
ClubQueen VIP lounge: ¥1,000,000.00 spent.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t have chosen this place for the welcome banquet.
The others exchanged uneasy glances, completely clueless about what this man was playing at.
Next door.
Song Yuan thought she caught a flicker of something through the crack in the door.
But the scene inside was too wild and heated, so she didn’t dwell on it.
“Open!”
Song Yuan and Gu Wushuang were playing dice, betting on who rolled higher. They split into two factions, each pulling a group of male models. Whoever lost either had to fulfill the other’s request or down a drink as a penalty—or have a male model drink three glasses in their place, or strip off one piece of clothing.
Song Yuan was a seasoned pro at this.
The moment her “open” landed, Gu Wushuang lifted her hand and flipped the cup, staring at her roll with a grimace. “My luck’s absolute shit today!”
Song Yuan grinned. “Drink or strip?”
Gu Wushuang met her gaze and said, “Drinking’s boring. Might as well strip.”
Despite her sweet face, Gu Wushuang had just as many tricks up her sleeve as Song Yuan!
Song Yuan watched the male model shrug off his suit jacket, but the white shirt underneath hid any trace of his chest and abs. What a waste.
She arched an eyebrow, and without a second thought, reached into the ice bucket, pulled out a bottle of whiskey, and shoved the mouth of the bottle straight into the male model behind her. “Bite it open!” she commanded.
He didn’t dare hesitate.
With a rich, gorgeous heiress like Song Yuan, even if she slapped him twice out of nowhere, he’d savor it—let alone biting off a cork!
The cork popped.
Song Yuan gripped the bottle with one hand and strode over to the male model in the white shirt. “Kneel!” she ordered.
His knees hit the floor instantly.
Song Yuan loved spending money on obedience. Seeing him comply, she tilted the bottle, and ice-cold liquor poured down from the top of his head, soaking his shirt through.
Gu Wushuang had long been stunned into silence watching the scene.
It wasn’t until the bottle was empty that Song Yuan finally let go.
Gu Wushuang felt like she learned something new from her every single time, and couldn’t help asking curiously, “Does Third Brother play like this in private too?”
The sudden mention of Huo Yuzhou made Song Yuan’s mind go blank—she couldn’t even conjure a clear image of his face.
“Him?”
“Just average.”
Suddenly, a dark, bone-chilling voice rang out right behind her. “Is that so?”
Everyone jumped—
Song Yuan instinctively flinched.
What the hell, was this any different from a ghost appearing out of thin air?
Huo Yuzhou raised a hand and brushed her shoulder, his warm, calloused palm grinding against her slender frame as if one good squeeze from him could snap her arm. “What are you trembling for?”
“Excited to see your husband?”
Song Yuan, who’d nearly been scared out of her wits, took a moment to catch her breath before snapping, “Excited my ass!”
Huo Yuzhou didn’t get angry—he laughed instead. His thick, powerful arm shot forward, broad hand gripping her slender waist, and with a single tug, he scooped her off the back of the sofa and into his arms, carrying her to a single-seater couch nearby. He locked her onto his thigh with one arm, while his other hand brushed the stray hairs from her temple and tucked them behind her ear.
His eyelids drooped low, the bridge of his nose grazing the hollow of her neck as he stared at her fair, tantalizing skin. His gaze turned dark and predatory. He sank his mouth in for a deep bite, a red mark blooming instantly. “What were you just saying about me?” he asked in a low voice.
Song Yuan felt a sting at her neck and shoved at him. Maybe she didn’t control her strength—the sharp edge of the ring on her index finger sliced straight across his jaw. “Don’t touch me!”
Three months without seeing each other.
And here he was, taking liberties the moment he showed up!
Instead, he only tightened his grip, his hold on her waist like an iron clamp that grew harder to break free from with every struggle.
His jaw stung, but Huo Yuzhou paid the minor wound no mind. He bit down on her earlobe, his voice pressed low. “Don’t make me do something reckless here.”
Song Yuan’s ear burned hot, but she was no match for his shamelessness. Her pupils dilated. “What kind of cheap trick are you pulling here?! Let me go!”
Huo Yuzhou reached up and pinched her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze. “Feeling feisty, are we?”
Song Yuan inexplicably held her breath.
Huo Yuzhou, lurking in the shadows, gave her no way to read his eyes. The side lighting split across the bridge of his nose into two halves—one bright, one dark—like a ferocious python coiled in damp gloom, the predatory aura bred into his bones impossible to ignore.
Meanwhile, Gu Wushuang had long since retreated into the corner of the sofa.
When it came to Huo Yuzhou, she was genuinely terrified!
The Huo family was the foremost of the four great houses of the capital, like a mighty tree with roots sunk deep into the earth, unshaken by any storm—and the ruthless force that the upper echelons scrambled and groveled to cling to.
Meanwhile, Huo Yuzhou, in the abyss of a den of wolves and tigers, had single-handedly dismantled the Huo family’s centuries-old tradition of primogeniture with his bare hands. He held absolute power, monopolized capital, and never left his opponents any room to recover. With a Buddha’s face but a serpent’s heart, he showed no fear of those who eyed him menacingly with guns in hand.
Because he would never give anyone the chance to turn the tables!
Over the years, what treacherous and mixed waters hadn’t he waded through? What hail of bullets hadn’t he weathered?
He himself couldn’t even count the number of bullets that had pierced his body.
His brothers in the circle respectfully called him Third Brother, and outsiders honored him as Third Master—all status he had crushed out step by step, utterly alone!
How could Gu Wushuang not fear him?
Even her father had to yield three parts of respect when meeting him.
At this moment, the few people in the adjacent private booth were observing the whole scene through the one-way glass before them—
Alcohol spilled all over the floor, a male model kneeling on the ground, and someone cowering in the corner, not daring to come out…
“Is that Wushuang?”
Lu Cheng squinted slightly before his vision cleared.
Gu Sixu, hearing this, swept his gaze over and immediately recognized who the small curled-up figure was. His face darkened, he tossed his wine glass onto the coffee table, and immediately strode his long legs around the hidden side door. With one big grab, he yanked Gu Wushuang out.
“This is what you meant by going to bed early?”
Gu Wushuang clutched tightly at her brother’s arm, terrified of losing this lifeline, her face full of smiles. “Brother, if I said they seduced me first, would you believe me?”
Gu Sixu glanced at her half-damp clothes and was about to bring her into the adjacent booth, but seeing that there wasn’t a decent person in there, he slammed on the brakes and said, “Go to the restroom and change into clean clothes.”
Gu Wushuang pressed her lips together before saying, “I didn’t bring any.”
Gu Sixu shot her a look. “I’ll have someone send some over.”
Meeting his gaze, Gu Wushuang had to swallow whatever she wanted to say. She felt that if she dared to talk back right now, her brother would swallow her alive!
In the booth, the three spectators were itching to smash through the soundproof glass.
“Can you hear what Third Brother is saying?”
Lu Cheng stepped forward, volunteering. “I can read lips—let me do it!”
Outside the glass—
Huo Yuzhou’s rough fingertips rubbed against Song Yuan’s red lips. Her lips were pulled, and the corners of her mouth were stained red.
Song Yuan was trapped in his embrace, unable to move at all. Her lips were pulled and chafed with slight pain, so she opened her mouth and bit down on his finger—hard, as if she wanted to bite blood out of it!
But Huo Yuzhou remained unmoved.
Song Yuan released her bite. “Let me go!”
Huo Yuzhou’s lips curled slightly as he said, “If you want me to let you go, that’s fine too.”
“Call me ‘hubby’ and let me hear it.”
