3 – “Not Buying It?”
Song Yuan never expected him to be this shameless when he decided to drop all pretense!
Huo Yuzhou, on the other hand, was quite patient. Seeing that she refused to make a sound, he curled his lips into a smirk, his palm kneading her slender waist. “Shy?”
“Or is it that we’ve grown distant after not seeing each other for so long, and need to do something to rekindle the connection?”
Song Yuan knew he was fully capable of following through.
If it weren’t for the private friendship between their families, and her knowledge that he’d never been with a woman, she would’ve filed complaints against every one of those titles the outside world gave him—”ascetic monk,” “untouchable by women.” She’d strip that proper mask right off his face!
“You need to read the room even if you’re possessed by a horny demon!”
Hearing her curse him, Huo Yuzhou lowered his eyelids, then raised them again, one hand gripping her thigh.
The leather skirt Song Yuan wore barely covered her hips, but its tight fit was its greatest asset, tracing every curve of her figure with devastating clarity.
His gaze turned slightly cold, yet he said, “What better place than this? Let them learn how to truly please you.”
Them?
That row of male models, all cut from the same cloth.
Hearing that, Song Yuan inexplicably felt a twinge of guilt.
It was like being caught red-handed visiting a brothel behind her husband’s back.
She was about to say something.
Suddenly, the wild-eyed male model stepped up bare-chested, “Hey, bro, we’ve got this whole booth booked out. If you’re trying to steal business, this isn’t the way!”
“Don’t think you can just waltz in through the back door because you’re handsome and got presence.”
“Besides, my sister here isn’t falling for your act!”
“Right, sis?”
Song Yuan, now put on the spot, felt for the first time what it meant to have things muddled beyond untangling.
Huo Yuzhou, mistaken for a fellow hustler, radiated coldness. He looked at Song Yuan, his eyes unreadable, and asked, “Not falling for my act?”
“Since when did you change your taste?”
Song Yuan had already sensed the danger looming. If she kept pushing, she’d only end up the one suffering!
“I just came out for a few drinks, and the manager threw in some salesmen for the liquor.”
“You’ve been gone for three months without a single message or call—how was I supposed to know you weren’t out there fooling around? I was feeling miserable, so I came out to blow off some steam!”
When there’s no way out, you can always sling some mud at the other party.
After all, turning the tables with a counterattack is a move too!
Huo Yuzhou saw right through her little tricks, but his expression didn’t soften much. “Fooling around or not, you’ll find out when we get home!”
With that, he moved to carry her out.
The wild-eyed male model stepped forward, fixated on his night’s commission, but before he could speak—
Huo Yuzhou kicked him clean across the room, sending him flying several meters.
The few in the neighboring booth all jumped in shock.
That kick was vicious!
Gu Wushuang, hiding in the corner, gasped sharply at the sight. She patted her chest and silently soothed herself: Easy now, nothing to fear~
“No matter who it is tonight, don’t go disturbing Third Brother.” He Chuan raised his glass with a knowing grin.
Lu Cheng smirked along. “Tonight’s going to be a hard-fought battle. I reckon Third Brother’s going to collect with interest.”
With interest?
Late at night.
Song Yuan, face buried in the pillow, felt her wrists pinned behind her back so tightly they ached, unable to pull free. She cursed him, “Huo Yuzhou, screw your grandpa!”
Huo Yuzhou gripped her waist and yanked her upright, turning her to face him. “Still got energy?”
Song Yuan swallowed hard.
Huo Yuzhou whispered against her ear, “How about screwing me instead?”
Hearing that, Song Yuan’s ears flushed crimson instantly.
Huo Yuzhou bit down on the hollow of her neck, his hot, ragged breath spilling over her skin.
Song Yuan flinched at the sting on her neck, still cursing him, “You’re a goddamn dog!”
Huo Yuzhou, far from annoyed, laughed instead. He pressed her against the floor-to-ceiling window and asked, “I’m a dog?”
“Then who’s the one clinging to me and refusing to let go right now?”
