Mihoko Fukuji gazed at the Diary, murmuring softly to herself, “That boy’s behavior really is terrible, leaving a poor girl waiting all this time without sending a single piece of reassuring news.”

“That girl named Ran Mōri is truly unfortunate.”

Miu Fūrinji shook her head in disapproval.Full novel: My Crossover Diary: Good Luck Finding Me, Heroines! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“This young man named Shinichi Kudō is completely irresponsible.”

“To abandon his girlfriend in the middle of a date just to chase after a criminal case…”

“Is a case investigation really more important than the safety and feelings of his own partner?”

“That single act ended up separating them for who knows how long.”

“A man like that really isn’t worth holding onto.”

Saeko Nogami let out a slow, heavy sigh as she looked down at the Diary.

“Matters of the heart are never simple.”

“Letting go of someone you love is far easier said than done.”

Rui Kisugi commented thoughtfully, “That clumsy Toshio seems to share quite a few traits with this Shinichi Kudō.”

“Then again, Toshio looks so much like our late father that setting Hitomi aside, even I find myself having a soft spot for him from time to time.”

The Diary continued to fill with fresh writing.

[Third Place on the Top 10 Goddesses Anime of Land of Ke: Shigure Kōsaka.]

[Shigure Kōsaka originates from the anime series Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple.

She isn’t the primary female lead, but rather an exceptionally vital supporting heroine.]

[Even though her appearances aren’t constant, she leaves an unforgettable impression on every viewer who lays eyes on her.]

[Her movements are blindingly agile and cloaked in mystery, her weapon arts are peerless, and most striking of all is her massive bust, which strains against her tight fishnet bodysuit and constantly steals the spotlight.]

[She is a woman of very few words, but she possesses a pure, earnest heart, carries out her duties with unwavering dedication, and occasionally lets slip an endearing, slightly aloof charm.]

[All in all, she is an incredibly sensual, deadpan ninja beauty who is just as adorable as she is lethal.]

[She perfectly balances pure innocence with overflowing sex appeal.]

[Add in those prominent physical assets that I simply cannot ignore, and following a comprehensive evaluation, she rightfully claims third place on the Land of Ke anime goddess rankings.]

Miu Fūrinji cheered with genuine delight, “Master Shigure, you made it into third place!”

Shigure Kōsaka didn’t utter a word.

Holding her chain-scythe in hand, she stood tall and proud, the confident posture accentuating the heavy curves wrapped beneath her snug fishnet attire.

After a quiet moment, she murmured in her usual flat, deadpan tone, “That person has good taste.”

Hearing her master’s response, Miu Fūrinji looked at her with a mix of deep admiration and a tiny hint of envy.

Shigure Kōsaka’s extraordinary proportions were so overwhelming that even Miu Fūrinji felt completely outmatched in that department.

Still, considering she was still just a high school student with plenty of growing left to do, her heart quickly settled back down.

Meanwhile, this particular placement caused quite a few anime goddesses who were already self-conscious about their body shapes to feel distinctly uneasy.

In particular, the notable heroines across the Land of Ke whose names hadn’t been reviewed yet—such as Eri Kisaki, Kazue, Kazuha Tōyama, Aoko Nakamori, Ai Haibara, and several others—couldn’t help feeling a pang of anxiety.

There were only two spots remaining on the top ten list, and their figures clearly weren’t nearly as voluptuous as the author’s preferred standard.

What was more, when they saw the vivid illustration of Shigure Kōsaka featured within the Diary, they couldn’t help but gasp in unison.

“That size is unreal!”

“How can a woman’s body even be built like that?”

“Doesn’t carrying around that much weight every single day get completely exhausting?”

Sonoko Suzuki gave up entirely, collapsing face-down onto her bed as she stared listlessly at the Diary with a long, defeated groan.

Whether in terms of facial charm or body curves, she already felt outclassed when comparing herself to Ran Mōri, let alone the jaw-dropping woman displayed in that illustration.

If someone as stunning as Ran Mōri only placed fourth, there was no way in the world the top two spots could ever belong to her.

Even though her rational mind had fully accepted that harsh reality, a lingering trace of stubborn hope and mild annoyance still tugged at her heart.

Seeing her state, Ran Mōri gently patted her shoulder to reassure her.

“Sonoko, don’t be discouraged.”

“You’re a lovely girl, and you still have a chance.

Everyone’s taste in beauty is different, after all.”

Kazuha Tōyama chimed in warmly, “She’s totally right!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Everyone has their own unique standards.”

“In Makoto Kyogoku’s eyes, Sonoko, you are undoubtedly the most beautiful girl in the world.”

Sonoko Suzuki shot the two of them a flat glare.

“You said it yourselves, that only applies in Makoto Kyogoku’s eyes, not in the eyes of the guy writing this diary.”

She then held her hands out in front of her chest to gesture a massive shape, sighing dramatically.

“This guy only has eyes for girls with insanely stacked figures.”

“My body isn’t even close to making that cut!”

Just as Hayashi Rin prepared to write his next entry in the Diary, a thunderous explosion suddenly tore through the air, reverberating from far in the distance.

The sudden shockwave made him jump slightly, but judging by how the rumble traveled, the epicenter was clearly located quite a distance away from his apartment.

He couldn’t help but mutter dryly to himself, “This place truly lives up to its reputation as Beika City, the most dangerous zone and literal criminal haven of the Case Closed universe.

Broad daylight, and you still get massive explosions that sound like full-blown terrorist strikes.”

He briefly considered walking over to the window to check out the commotion, but quickly dismissed the thought.

In a detective world where dangerous culprits lurked behind every street corner, trying to save everyone would be an impossible errand.

As long as the chaos didn’t threaten his own personal safety, he preferred to keep his nose out of trouble.

Given that the blast occurred far away, finishing up the Diary entries to claim his system rewards and bolster his own survival capabilities was far more important right now.

With that in mind, he refocused his attention onto the pages before him.

At that exact moment, Miwako Satō, Inspector Megure, and a large contingent of officers from the Metropolitan Police Department had already cordoned off the plaza beneath Tokyo Tower.

The tourist observation elevator of Tokyo Tower hung suspended in mid-air, crippled by the blast—a chilling scene that was almost identical to the bombing incident from three years ago.

The sight instantly dragged Miwako Satō back into the nightmare of that tragic day three years ago, the very disaster that had claimed the life of Jinpei Matsuda.

Looking up, she could almost picture a towering grim reaper poised high in the sky above Tokyo Tower, casually brandishing a bloodstained scythe over the innocent lives trapped within.

Meanwhile, that despicable criminal mastermind was undoubtedly watching his handiwork unfold from some dark, hidden corner of the city.

Years ago, Miwako Satō and Jinpei Matsuda, a brilliant bomb disposal specialist from the special division, had shared mutual feelings for one another.

The exact same bomber had planted an explosive device inside a Ferris wheel gondola, and Jinpei Matsuda had stepped forward to dismantle it.

Yet just as Matsuda was about to defuse the bomb, the culprit sent a malicious message.

The bomber revealed that he had planted a second, far more catastrophic explosive elsewhere in the city.

The electronic display on the bomb Matsuda was working on would only reveal the location clue for the second bomb during the final three seconds before detonation.

If Matsuda defused the device early, the clue to the second bomb would be lost forever.

To protect the lives of countless innocent citizens, Jinpei Matsuda made the agonizing choice to let the timer tick down to the last three seconds, read the clue displayed on the screen, and rapidly text the crucial coordinates to Miwako Satō.

Moments later, Jinpei Matsuda perished in the ferocious blast.

As it turned out, that same bomber was also the mastermind behind the explosion case from seven years ago.

Now, the perpetrator behind this Tokyo Tower Bombing Incident was none other than that exact same monster.

He was using the exact same modus operandi.

The sickening realization filled Miwako Satō with burning fury, yet she felt completely powerless in the face of this ticking clock.

The culprit had already hidden a second, far more destructive bomb somewhere across the city outside Tokyo Tower.

Twelve million residents living throughout the metropolis were now under a direct, terrifying threat, liable to be blown to pieces at any given moment.
