The Starving Ghost has appeared!
At the end of the street, within the densest mist.
The cyan-gray mist boiled, and a Shadowy Figure vaguely appeared standing at the end of the street; it just stood there quietly. A Chilling Aura spread out from the Figure to the surroundings.
The temperature of the surrounding air dropped by several degrees.
"Starving Ghost!" Seeing this Figure, Su Mu Bai's heart stirred, a cold glint flashed in his eyes, and the frequency of his steps quickened involuntarily.
Tap, tap-tap-tap………
Su Mu Bai ran toward the Starving Ghost, slowly raising his right hand, tightly gripping a rusty Coffin Nail in his hand!
In the process of advancing, dense Ghost Infants of various stages rushed towards Su Mu Bai.
But Ghost Slaves were not true Fierce Ghosts after all. The Ghost Infants could not even invade Su Mu Bai's Ghost Domain, and even if a Stage Three Ghost Infant managed to invade successfully, it was eliminated by Su Mu Bai's swift nail strike.
The Ghost Infants could not stop Su Mu Bai's advance; with every nail swung down, one Ghost Infant would dissipate into gas in the air.
As if realizing that ordinary Ghost Infants could not do anything to Su Mu Bai, the dense Ghost Infants scattered again and retreated into the distance.
"Are you going to take action personally?" Su Mu Bai narrowed his eyes, looking at the Figure standing in the haze at the end of the street.
His steps did not stop; instead, he quickened his pace toward the location of the Starving Ghost.
"Hiss~~~ Hiss~~~"
As Su Mu Bai got closer and closer to the Starving Ghost's location, the environment on the street suddenly began to change.
The cyan-gray haze fell from the sky, covering the area, and began to constantly collide with Su Mu Bai's Ghost Domain.
The Starving Ghost made its move; haze continuously fell from the cyan-gray Ghost Domain.
The Starving Ghost's Ghost Domain was very powerful, and the speed at which the cyan-gray haze spread was astonishingly fast. In just a moment, Su Mu Bai's Ghost Domain began to become unstable.
"The Ghost Domain is being gradually eroded..." Su Mu Bai felt that his Ghost Domain was beginning to be suppressed.
The Dark as ink Black Mist Ghost Domain collided and canceled out with the Starving Ghost's cyan-gray Ghost Domain. Su Mu Bai's Black Mist Ghost Domain was at an absolute disadvantage!
In terms of Ghost Eye classification, the Starving Ghost's Ghost Domain Strength was around the third level. Su Mu Bai's Ghost Domain was only infinitely close to the second level.
However, in this collision between the Ghost Domains, the Starving Ghost was also affected to some extent.
At the end of the street, the extremely dense mist had faded significantly, and the Starving Ghost's Figure within it was completely revealed.
It was a Fierce Ghost with a very eerie and terrifying appearance! Its black-and-cyan dead skin looked as if it was about to rot.
On its extremely thin body, the belly was slightly bulging, like a beer belly, inside which something could vaguely be seen wriggling, like human heads tumbling or a human face screaming.
The Starving Ghost's black-and-cyan dead face was stiff and numb, without any expression, and a pair of pitch-black eyes without pupils stared eerily in Su Mu Bai's direction.
"The Ghost Domain has been invaded by the mist!"
In the middle of the street, Su Mu Bai's expression became extremely grim. Within the Black Mist Ghost Domain, wisps of eerie cyan-gray mist drifted about.
The mist belonging to the Starving Ghost had successfully invaded Su Mu Bai's Ghost Domain, and the cyan-gray mist was now continuously eroding his Black Mist Ghost Domain!
"I must find a way to resolve the current situation and not let the Ghost Domain fall. Once my Ghost Domain is eroded by the Starving Ghost's Ghost Domain, this trip to find the Starving Ghost will likely have been for nothing."
Su Mu Bai began to think quickly.
His Ghost Domain strength was inferior to the Starving Ghost's. In this collision of Ghost Domains, although Su Mu Bai successfully dispersed the dense mist at the end of the street, the Price he paid was greater.
The previously substantial Fog Ghost Domain had dimmed, and the Dark as ink Ghost Domain had turned light black. Furthermore, the Ghost Domain had been invaded by the cyan-gray mist.
"If I shrink the range of the Ghost Domain and concentrate its power, can I resist the Starving Ghost's erosion?" Su Mu Bai's mind moved, and the range originally covering five meters around him began to gradually shrink.
The range of the Ghost Domain shrank: five meters, four meters, three meters... Finally, the Ghost Domain shrank to cover only a one-meter radius around himself!
As the range of the Ghost Domain shrank, the solidity of the Black Mist Ghost Domain gradually increased.
The light black Ghost Domain once again became Dark as ink, and the cyan-gray mist belonging to the Starving Ghost within the Ghost Domain was also expelled!
Although the Starving Ghost's Ghost Domain Strength was higher than Su Mu Bai's, the range it covered was much larger. A larger range meant the strength was diluted, not solid enough, and not concentrated enough.
"The first wave of attack from the Starving Ghost has been resisted!" Seeing that the Ghost Domain stabilized, Su Mu Bai's slightly tense mood eased a little.
He was a ghost and would not die, but if he were swallowed by the Starving Ghost, Su Mu Bai guessed he would very likely enter a System crash State, which was much worse than death!
The Terror Level gap between him and the Starving Ghost was too large at this moment. His "Invasion" ability might not succeed and would likely be suppressed by the Starving Ghost!
"Not everyone is as lucky as Wei Jing, that lucky fellow, who managed to exploit a bug and succeed. Once in a Crash State, who knows when one could recover."
Ghosts do not die, which means the Starving Ghost will exist forever, and those Fierce Ghosts swallowed by it, except for a very few exceptional ones, will remain in a System crash State forever.
Even if not in a System crash State, they are inside the Starving Ghost's belly, suppressed by it!
Step, tap-tap!
Su Mu Bai continued to advance toward the Starving Ghost.
The suppression force of the Ghost Domain was still present, but by shrinking the range of his Ghost Domain and concentrating its power, Su Mu Bai successfully offset most of the suppression!
Just then.
The Starving Ghost, which had been standing motionless at the end of the street, also began to stir.
The Starving Ghost's terrifying Figure gradually faded. Finally, it vanished right under Su Mu Bai's nose.
"It's gone?" Su Mu Bai was stunned, then became vigilant.
This was within the opponent's Ghost Domain; anything could happen. A sudden disappearance was not something hard to accept.
"Whoosh......."
In front of Su Mu Bai, a large patch of cyan-gray haze rushed toward him, as if intending to swallow him whole.
But it stopped just before reaching the one-meter range around Su Mu Bai, as if an invisible Wall was blocking the way, isolating the final step of the Erosion.
Black mist surged and spread around Su Mu Bai's body, canceling out and contending with the cyan-gray haze.
After maintaining the Ghost Domain at a one-meter radius, it seemed it was no longer so easily invaded or suppressed!
