Obito was genuinely beginning to panic.

His Kamui Sharingan had always seemed nearly impossible to counter.

Even Konan’s ocean of explosive tags, which had detonated continuously for ten minutes, had failed to kill him.Full novel: Naruto: I Revived Legends to Fight the Gods — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

As long as he possessed that eye, he could retreat into the Kamui dimension at any moment.

No matter how dangerous the situation became, he could always escape unharmed.

But now, that ability had stopped working.

“What did you do?” Obito stared at Amagiri Ren.

Unable to teleport, he felt an unease he had rarely experienced before.

“I sealed the surrounding space.” Ren’s expression remained indifferent.

“The space–time ninjutsu of your Sharingan is useless here.” “Ridiculous.” Obito’s voice gradually became more agitated.

“Do you honestly think that is enough to kill me?” If he was forced into a battle to the death, he still had several hidden methods available.

That was the only reason he could speak with any confidence.

“Who said anything about killing you?” Ren looked almost exasperated.

“Had I truly wanted you dead, do you believe you could resist?” “With Izanagi and the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path?” Obito’s expression changed beneath his mask.

Fortunately, no one could see the fear that briefly crossed his face.

“What exactly do you want?” Only after being forced this far did Obito finally become willing to discuss the situation properly.

That was simply the kind of person he was.

His obsession ran too deep for anyone’s words to reach him easily.

“I already told you.” Ren looked at him calmly.

“You will enter the Ragnarok arena with us and duel the gods.” “I’m not interested.” Obito refused without hesitation.

“I don’t care whether humanity survives or is destroyed.” His only concern was the Eye of the Moon Plan.

He wanted to create a world in which Rin still lived.

“You don’t have a choice.” Ren’s response was cold.

“Obito, you bastard!” Madara shouted from the side.

“Even I have been dragged into this tournament.

What makes you think you can escape?” “You and I are not the same.” Obito glanced at him.

“You are under the control of Impure World Reincarnation.” “I could always kill you first and reanimate you afterward.” Ren stepped closer.

“How does that sound?” A chill ran through Obito.

The man before him sounded entirely capable of carrying out that threat.

“If I fight for humanity, what do I gain?” Obito finally compromised and began negotiating.

“Dueling the gods could cost me my life.” “I’m not like these people.

They were already dead before being summoned.

If they die again, they lose nothing.” “But I am still alive.” “If I die in that arena, I lose everything.” “So what will I receive in exchange for risking my life for humanity?” At this point in his life, Obito was deeply selfish.

Ren had expected him to make such a demand.

Madara and the two Hokage, however, were visibly displeased.

“What do you mean, we were already dead, so dying again doesn’t matter?” Tobirama glared at him.

This former Uchiha failure clearly had not been humbled enough in life.

“I’ll make you an offer.” Ren walked over and placed one hand on Obito’s shoulder.

The next instant, both of them vanished.

Inside the Kamui dimension, Obito stared at Ren in disbelief.

This young man had entered his private dimension as casually as though walking through an open doorway.

Wasn’t this space supposed to belong exclusively to Obito’s Mangekyō Sharingan?

How could Ren enter it at will?

Obito immediately attempted to impose his control over the dimension.

This was his territory.

Normally, outsiders would be suppressed here, while his own abilities would become even more effective.

Nothing happened.

He could no longer sense any authority over the space around him.

For the first time, Obito was truly shaken.

Ren had already overturned too many things he believed to be impossible.

“Stop wasting your effort.” Ren walked leisurely through the Kamui dimension.

“Every method you possess is useless against me.” “That includes your Sharingan and your Rinnegan.” “Do you understand?” Obito swallowed and abandoned any thought of opposing him directly.

“You asked what you would gain.” Ren stopped in front of him.

“Enter Ragnarok, and I will remove the curse seal Madara placed on your heart.” Obito froze.

“How do you know about that?” His first reaction was disbelief.

How could Ren possibly know that Madara had planted a curse seal inside his heart to control him?

It was the same kind of seal that had once been placed on Rin.

“No.” Obito quickly shook his head.

“That seal cannot be removed without destroying the heart.” “Others may be unable to remove it.” Ren looked at him.

“I can.” “Because there is nothing in this world beyond my ability.” Ren smiled faintly.

He had no intention of proving himself.

Obito could believe him or refuse.

In truth, Obito had no real choice.

If Ren were willing to use harsher methods, he could simply have Madara activate the curse seal and force Obito into the arena.

But a fighter dragged into battle against his will might deliberately hold back.

That was why Ren was willing to offer him a genuine exchange.

Obito remained silent for several minutes.

Eventually, he understood that there was no other path available.

“The Fourth Shinobi World War…” Even now, his thoughts remained fixed on the Eye of the Moon Plan and the Allied Shinobi Forces.

“We will suspend the conflict within the shinobi world.” Ren’s tone left no room for argument.

“First, we deal with the enemy threatening all of us.”
