“The Yellow Flash truly lives up to his reputation, Sensei.” Behind his mask, Obito showed no trace of guilt.

He spoke as though everything he had done was completely justified.

What I said wasn’t entirely wrong.” “My victory or defeat in Ragnarok might determine whether humanity survives or is wiped out.” “Do you really believe your son, Naruto Uzumaki, is more important than the survival of the entire human race?” “I don’t hold any ill will toward Naruto.

I even held him once when he was a baby.” A cold flash passed through the air.

Minato’s kunai pierced Obito’s neck.

“Obito.” Minato’s voice was filled with killing intent.

“Are you deliberately testing my patience?” The blade had intentionally avoided anything vital.

Obito’s body contained Hashirama’s cells, so an injury like this would heal quickly.

“I was only joking, Sensei.” Obito laughed, trying to ease the tension.

“You didn’t take that seriously, did you?” “If you dare lay a hand on Naruto, I will kill you.” Minato delivered the warning with complete seriousness before stepping away from him.

“Obito isn’t entirely wrong.” Ren suddenly spoke.

“I do intend to gather all nine tailed beasts.” It was necessary preparation if Madara and Obito were to evolve into their Six Paths forms.

Seeing the intense objection in Minato’s expression, Ren continued.

“My method will be different.” “I won’t completely extract the tailed beasts from their jinchūriki, so none of the hosts will be placed in mortal danger.” “Once Ragnarok is over, every tailed beast will be returned to where it belongs.” That was Ren’s promise.

Only after hearing it were the Hokage willing to cooperate.

Obito merely smiled and said nothing.

“Enough.

We’re heading to Allied Shinobi Forces Headquarters.” Ren looked toward the others.

“Our destination is the Land of Lightning.” The group soon departed.

A short while later, Zetsu emerged from the ground.

“What exactly is happening?” Black Zetsu was completely confused.

The Fourth Shinobi World War had only just been declared, yet it was already being suspended before the fighting had truly begun.

The sudden arrival of the Valkyries had thrown his entire plan into chaos.

For the first time, he had no idea what he was supposed to do next.

“Kabuto doesn’t seem to be dead.” Zetsu sank into the earth and emerged beside Kabuto.

After examining him, he discovered that Kabuto was still breathing.

Two figures moved rapidly through the forest.

They drew closer and closer.

In the next instant, they passed one another.

Sasuke Uchiha froze.

The man who had just crossed his path was his older brother.

“Itachi?” “Sasuke.” Itachi also stopped and turned back to face him.

“Did Kabuto bring you back with Impure World Reincarnation?” Sasuke’s emotions became complicated.

There were countless questions he wanted to ask.

“No.” Itachi shook his head.

“Ren-sama revived us.” He briefly explained what had happened.

Kabuto had originally reanimated both him and Nagato, but a mysterious man named Amagiri Ren had appeared and gathered them to fight the gods.

“Fight the gods?” Sasuke stared at him blankly.

What kind of absurd situation had he walked into?

“You have also been selected as one of humanity’s fighters.” Itachi looked at him.

“Ren-sama ordered me to bring you back.” Itachi did not want Sasuke entering the arena.

Unfortunately, the decision was not his to make.

“What are you talking about, Itachi?” Sasuke frowned.

“Are you being controlled?” Obito had only recently revealed the truth of the Uchiha massacre to him.

Sasuke had been on his way to take revenge on Konoha when he suddenly encountered his reanimated brother speaking about gods, Valkyries, and a tournament for humanity’s survival.

“Sasuke, look into my eyes.” “You’ll understand.” Itachi activated his Sharingan.

Through genjutsu, he showed Sasuke everything that had happened since his revival.

“What?” Sasuke’s eyes widened.

“This Ren even revived Madara Uchiha and the previous Hokage?” The memories appeared genuine.

The two Valkyries were also clearly beings from outside the shinobi world.

“Do you understand now?” Itachi released the genjutsu.

“The gods intend to destroy humanity.” “We must choose thirteen warriors and defeat them in Ragnarok if we want our world to survive.” “Were you selected too?” Sasuke asked.

“Yes.” Itachi nodded.

“Besides me, the current roster includes Nagato, Madara Uchiha, Obito, the First Hokage, and the Fourth Hokage.” Itachi had explained the situation as clearly as possible, but Sasuke still shook his head.

“What about the Uchiha Clan’s grudge against Konoha?” “When will that be settled?” “Come with me.” Itachi turned away.

“I will answer whatever questions I can.” “If there are things even I cannot explain, the previous Hokage can tell you the full history of the Uchiha Clan.” He began moving in the direction Ren had given him.

Itachi knew Sasuke would follow.

“Wait, Itachi!” Sasuke immediately chased after him.

“Answer me first!” As they traveled, Itachi explained many things to Sasuke.

He told him about Obito’s schemes, the lies hidden within the story Sasuke had been given, and the ways Obito had manipulated his anger.

The brothers continued talking as they headed toward the Land of Lightning.
