“Oh?

Now you’re getting serious?” Seeing Madara cut through his vines, Hashirama immediately sent even more of them surging toward him.

“That’s enough.” Just as the two were about to start fighting again, Ren spoke.Full novel: Naruto: I Revived Legends to Fight the Gods — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Both men froze.

“If Ren-sensei hadn’t stopped me, I would’ve strung you up and beaten you senseless today.” Even after standing down, Hashirama could not resist provoking Madara.

“Hashirama!” Madara roared his name, his face twisting with rage.

“As expected of the First Hokage…” Shinobi inside and outside the barrier let out nervous breaths.

There were probably very few people in the world who dared speak to Madara Uchiha like that.

Hashirama Senju was one of them.

“Listen, tailed beasts.” Ren turned toward the seven creatures.

“My name is Amagiri Ren.

Ragnarok requires your power.” Using the floating Rinnegan, he sent a telepathic message directly into their minds.

The seven tailed beasts quickly understood what had happened.

“The masked man was subdued by him?” “So he was the one who released us from the Demonic Statue?” “The shinobi world has stopped fighting?” “He needs the power of all nine tailed beasts for Ragnarok?” “Kurama and the octopus are here too…” “You can trust him.” Kurama’s voice reached them.

“I sense something in him that reminds me of the old Sage of Six Paths.” The seven tailed beasts gradually calmed down.

“What do you need us to do?” They stopped struggling, and Hashirama released the bindings around them.

“Wait a moment.” Ren looked toward Naruto and Killer B.

“I’ll bring out the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails first.” Two chakra threads extended from his body.

One connected to Naruto, the other to Killer B.

“Don’t resist.” Ren began drawing out their tailed-beast chakra.

The process took time.

Both beasts possessed enormous reserves.

“Wouldn’t Naruto die if the Nine-Tails were removed?” Sasuke stared into the barrier.

“What exactly is Ren planning?” “He said he has a way to keep Naruto alive.” Sakura answered, though even she sounded uncertain.

“Watch.” Itachi remained calm.

“Ren-sama would not have begun this without being certain.” “Gah…” Naruto’s body trembled.

A large portion of Kurama’s chakra had already been drawn out, leaving him weak enough to collapse at any moment.

Ren completed the extraction in one decisive motion.

At the same time, he formed a chakra blade and severed one of Kurama’s tails.

That tail remained inside Naruto.

Its chakra condensed and took the form of a juvenile Nine-Tails.

“Naruto!” Minato appeared beside his son instantly.

Naruto lay on the ground, gasping as though he had been dragged back from the edge of death.

“What is this?” Even Kurama was stunned.

Ren had used a single tail to create a smaller version of him inside Naruto, preserving the jinchūriki’s life.

The same thing happened with Killer B.

Ren severed one of Gyūki’s tails and left its chakra behind, where it formed a juvenile Eight-Tails.

Killer B survived as well.

“That can actually be done?” Madara and Hashirama stared in amazement.

Even they had never imagined such a method.

“Minato, you still carry half of the Nine-Tails’ chakra.” Ren turned toward him.

“I’ll take that as well.” Without waiting for an answer, he extracted the Yin half of Kurama from Minato’s reanimated body.

There was no need to leave replacement chakra behind.

As an Edo Tensei, Minato could not die from the extraction in the normal sense.

“That makes all nine.” Ren’s expression remained calm.

Obito stared at the assembled tailed beasts with complicated emotions.

He had spent years pursuing this exact goal.

He had manipulated nations, built the Akatsuki into a weapon, captured seven tailed beasts, and started the Fourth Shinobi World War for the final two.

Yet Ren had gathered all nine with almost insulting ease.

For a moment, Obito felt that all his years of effort had been meaningless.

“Now listen carefully.” Ren raised the floating Rinnegan.

“All of you, enter the Demonic Statue.” The statue opened its enormous mouth.

Obito’s eye widened.

Madara’s expression changed as well.

Both men understood what the Demonic Statue truly was.

And they knew exactly what would happen if all nine tailed beasts were absorbed into it.

“He intends to revive the Ten-Tails…” Obito stared at Ren’s back.

Madara was equally shaken.

The Ten-Tails possessed power beyond anything the shinobi world had ever known.

But that was precisely the problem.

Who could control it?

Using such a creature to fight the gods sounded dangerously reckless.

If Ren failed to restrain it, Ragnarok might never even begin.

The Ten-Tails could destroy humanity first.
