“Are you kidding me?

He actually blocked two Tailed Beast Bombs?” Temari stared in disbelief.

“Any one of those tailed beasts has enough power to destroy an entire shinobi village, yet in front of Madara Uchiha, they look like harmless pets.” “Is that man really human?” Kankurō gave a bitter smile.Full novel: Naruto: I Revived Legends to Fight the Gods — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

That level of power was something they might never reach in their entire lives.

“That is the Uchiha Clan’s Susanoo.” A familiar voice suddenly came from behind them.

Everyone turned and saw Itachi arriving with Sasuke.

“What are they trying to do?” Sasuke stared into the Four Red Yang Formation, visibly shaken.

“Why did they release all seven tailed beasts?” “Sasuke!” Ino immediately hurried over, her eyes lighting up.

“I heard you were selected for Ragnarok.

Does that mean you’re on our side again?” It had been a long time since she last saw him, and somehow Sasuke seemed even more handsome than before.

“Sasuke…” Sakura also stared at him in disbelief, her eyes trembling slightly.

“Because of Ragnarok, the entire shinobi world has temporarily stopped fighting.” Sasuke gave the familiar faces a brief acknowledgment.

“Itachi brought me here.” His attention quickly returned to the barrier.

“So that is Madara Uchiha’s Perfect Susanoo.” Watching Madara withstand the tailed beasts’ attacks left Sasuke deeply shaken.

He could already manifest Susanoo himself, but what stood before him was on an entirely different level.

“It looks as though they’re planning something involving the tailed beasts.” Itachi observed the situation with his Sharingan.

Inside the barrier, Gaara was already calling out to the One-Tail.

“Shukaku, it’s me—Gaara!” He rode his sand into the air and approached the tailed beast.

“Calm down.

No one here intends to hurt you.” “Gaara?” Shukaku’s rage eased slightly.

“What exactly is going on?” The other tailed beasts, however, were still rampaging.

Madara stepped forward as six of them charged him at once.

He did not retreat.

“Uchiha Reflection!” He swung his gunbai and reflected a Tailed Beast Bomb back toward its source.

The blast struck the Five-Tails and sent it flying.

Madara followed with a swing of his Susanoo’s sword.

The earth split beneath the force of the strike, and the surrounding mountains trembled.

The Five Kage inside the barrier went pale.

Even the shockwaves alone were difficult for them to withstand.

They could hardly imagine what would happen if they were forced to fight Madara directly.

“That’s enough.” Ren shook his head.

“We didn’t come here to fight them.” “Hashirama, restrain them.” Madara clearly intended to beat the tailed beasts into submission.

At that rate, there was no telling how long the battle would continue.

Hashirama nodded.

“Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence!” He brought his hands together.

Countless enormous trees burst from the ground.

Within moments, a dense forest filled the entire Four Red Yang Formation.

The trees moved like giant vines.

Some wrapped around the tailed beasts’ legs, while others coiled around their massive bodies.

In an instant, all seven tailed beasts were immobilized.

Unfortunately for Madara, the forest also wrapped tightly around his Perfect Susanoo.

Its arms and body were bound, leaving it unable to move.

“Is this the power of the God of Shinobi?” “Wood Style…” “It’s said that when Konoha was founded, the First Hokage created much of the surrounding forest with this very technique.” Ōnoki and the Raikage stared in alarm.

How much chakra did it take to create an entire forest in a single moment?

“As expected of the First Hokage…” Obito swallowed hard.

He had already been shocked when Madara overwhelmed all seven tailed beasts.

The Akatsuki had spent tremendous time and effort capturing them.

Madara, however, had treated them like toys.

That alone made Obito realize how wide the gap between them truly was.

And then Hashirama made his move.

The usually mild-mannered First Hokage restrained all seven tailed beasts with a single technique.

He even bound Madara’s Perfect Susanoo along with them.

Obito no longer knew what to think.

Outside the barrier, shinobi from every village cried out in amazement.

No one had ever witnessed anything like this.

Amid the noise, no one noticed the cold sweat running down Sasuke’s face.

“You’ve got to be kidding me…” “Even Perfect Susanoo can’t break free from that forest?” His eyes trembled.

Madara’s Perfect Susanoo was a level of power Sasuke could only look up to.

Yet even something that overwhelming could be restrained by a single Wood Style technique.

He found it difficult to accept.

“Hashirama, what do you think you’re doing?” Inside the barrier, Madara turned and glared at him.

Shukaku began shouting as well.

“I didn’t do anything!” “I already calmed down!

Let me go!” His voice was as loud and irritating as ever.

“Sorry.” Hashirama gave them an innocent smile.

“Ren-sensei wanted everyone to settle down.” He looked harmless, but his intentions were not quite so simple.

Madara had been the only one displaying his strength so far.

If that continued, everyone might begin to believe that he alone stood at the peak of the shinobi world.

Hashirama saw no harm in reminding them that Konoha had produced more than one monster.

“Hmph.” Madara snorted.

His Susanoo twisted one wrist and brought its sword down, cutting through the vines around its right arm.

Once that arm was free, a second slash severed the remaining bindings around its body.
