The classroom erupted in cheers.

A few couldn’t believe what they had heard and hurriedly asked Sugiki Keitai whether it was really true, as if they were afraid they were dreaming.

Shin couldn’t share their excitement.

Becoming a Genin meant stepping onto the battlefield.

These were all inexperienced children.

Once they were sent into a war zone, how many of them would actually come back alive?

But the others didn’t seem to care.

To them, becoming Genin meant they could finally fight for the Village.

Shin couldn’t understand that mindset.

He couldn’t feel what they felt.

While everyone else was still celebrating, Shin quietly left the classroom.

There was no point standing around listening to meaningless cheers.

He might as well go home and use the time to become stronger.

Over the next three days, Shin cultivated the Three Body Technique until it reached Level 9.

A Level 9 Three Body Technique didn’t directly increase Shin’s Combat Power, but it gave him another layer of protection when it came to staying alive.

His Transformation Technique had become so convincing that even some Chunin would have difficulty seeing through it.

Only people with special abilities, such as the Sharingan’s Bloodline Limit, might be able to expose him.

That made Shin rather proud.

At the same time, he couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed.

His Sharingan still hadn’t met the requirements for activation.

That day, Shin suddenly remembered something and headed into his former parents’ room.

According to his memories, his parents had left several Ninjutsu scrolls behind.

His memories had been chaotic before, so he hadn’t thought of them until now.

But graduation was approaching, and so was the day he would be sent to the battlefield.

Learning a few more Ninjutsu could only help.

After searching carefully, Shin actually found the scrolls.

“Let’s see what Ninjutsu they left behind.” His heart beating faster, Shin opened the first scroll.

The first thing that caught his eye was: “Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique.” The Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique was a standard Uchiha Clan technique.

For a Genin, it could already serve as a trump card.

It was a C-rank Ninjutsu that required Fire Release, one of the five basic nature transformations.

The technique concentrated Chakra inside the throat before using hand seals to unleash a stream of high-temperature flames from the mouth.

Shin read through it carefully.

He didn’t rush to practice.

Instead, he set the scroll aside and picked up another one.

Among the remaining scrolls were two more techniques: Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique and Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique.

All three were Fire Release techniques.

The difference was mainly in their difficulty and requirements for cultivation.

Shin pouted.

One Fire Release, and they’ve made so many variations?

Aren’t they just changing the shape and flow of the energy?

They’re all Fire Release techniques anyway.

In his eyes, there wasn’t much difference between these three Fire Release Ninjutsu.

What truly mattered was proficiency and the strength of one’s Chakra.

Uchiha Madara’s Great Fireball could wipe out half a Village.

So Ninjutsu itself wasn’t inherently strong or weak.

It depended on who was using it.

Shin picked up the final scroll.

“Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique.” This was a Genjutsu cast through the Sharingan.

By using the Sharingan to construct a mental space, the caster could make the target experience the illusion of stakes piercing through their limbs.

That was enough to trap them in the illusion.

Shin didn’t dare underestimate Genjutsu.

It could inflict serious mental trauma, and once the mind was damaged, recovering from it could be even harder than healing a physical wound.

Shin was quite interested in this Genjutsu.

Once his Sharingan awakened, he would be able to use it.

He picked up the Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique and the Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique and left the room.

As for the other two scrolls, he didn’t take them.

In his opinion, the three Fire Release techniques were too similar.

Rather than spend time practicing several techniques that achieved roughly the same result, he might as well use that time to improve his overall strength.

Of course, if he found more advanced Fire Release Ninjutsu, he would definitely learn them.

Over the next few days, Shin added a new subject to his training.

Fire Release.

He couldn’t practice Ninjutsu inside the clan compound, so every time he trained the Great Fireball Technique, he found a secluded spot beside a lake.

After repeated practice, Shin finally mastered the technique and raised it to Level 2.

Seven days passed in the blink of an eye.

On the day of the graduation examination, Shin arrived at the Ninja Academy as usual.

After listening to Hiruzen Sarutobi’s long and painfully dull speech, the entire cohort entered the examination hall.

As for the result, it had already been decided.

Today was little more than a formality.

The Genin examination didn’t only test the Three Body Technique.

It also included field placement and code-related assessments.

The first few rounds were written examinations.

Compared with the Chunin Exams, graduating from the Ninja Academy was much simpler.

Most of the questions covered basic knowledge taught during their time at the Academy.

Anyone who had actually paid attention in class could pass without much trouble.

Things like the Will of Fire and other familiar slogans were especially easy.

Shin was already sick of hearing them.

He deliberately answered a few questions incorrectly, half out of curiosity and half to see whether the Academy would actually fail him.

Unfortunately…

Things didn’t go as Shin hoped.

No matter how many questions he deliberately got wrong, it was useless.

He still passed with a high score.

Although he had expected this result, Shin was still annoyed.

Of course, he could only complain inside his head.

He didn’t dare show it.

He wasn’t Naruto, who could cause trouble in the Village without worrying about the consequences.

An expendable Uchiha could disappear without making much noise.

If that happened, there wouldn’t even be a place for him to cry about it.

So, rather than risk anything, it was better to graduate first, quietly build up his strength, and wait.

Only when he reached the pinnacle would he have the right to control his own fate.

By afternoon, the examination moved on to basic Taijutsu and Ninja tool throwing.

The students had to take the tests one by one, so an entire hour had already passed before it was finally Shin’s turn.

“Next, Uchiha Shin.” Shin slowly walked to the center of the training ground.

He casually brushed his hand across his waist.

The Kunai flipped through his fingers like a flower blooming in his palm.

He threw it.

Bang!

The Ninja responsible for checking the target immediately shouted, “Bullseye!” The arena erupted in noise.

Shin didn’t react.

He continued throwing.

Ten consecutive throws.

Ten bullseyes.

A perfect score.

It wasn’t that Shin wanted to show off.

A stationary target was simply too easy for him now.

Considering his usual performance at the Academy, deliberately missing or lowering his hit rate would only make his sudden improvement look suspicious.

It was better to show some talent.

That way, everyone would simply think he had always possessed some ability in this area.

The examination standards were ridiculously relaxed.

You could probably try your hardest to fail and still graduate.

By the time the day’s examination ended, afternoon had already passed.

The remaining assessments would have to wait until tomorrow.

That night, Shin threw himself into intense training.

The Three Body Technique finally reached Level 10.

All three techniques had reached Level 10.

But Shin soon noticed something strange.

After reaching Level 10, the proficiency bar slowed to a crawl, as if it had slammed into an invisible wall.

“System, what’s going on?

Is Level 10 the highest the Three Body Technique can reach?” A Level 10 Three Body Technique was already faster than what most Chunin could perform.

But Shin wasn’t satisfied.

If there was still room to improve, why stop here?

“Ding-dong.

Level 10 Three Body Technique has reached the host’s current ability limit.” “To break through this limit, there are two methods.” “First, become a Chunin.” “Second, awaken your bloodline.” “Once either condition is met, unexpected breakthroughs may occur.” “Keep working hard, worker.

You’re the best.” Shin was speechless.

Awaken his bloodline?

Of course he wanted to.

The problem was that his Constitution hadn’t been able to rise any further.
