As Monkey D.

Garp stared at the child standing before him, a single name surfaced involuntarily within his mind.

Charlotte Linlin.

The natural-born monster who once destroyed an Elbaf village as a child.

An existence born with a body beyond human logic.

Could Kahn be the same type of freak?

What kind of terrifying bloodline had that bastard Roger left behind?

Nearby, Portgas D.

Ace slowly climbed back to his feet, completely ignoring the swelling on his head.

His eyes were wide open in shock.

Ace already knew Kahn was absurdly strong.

But enduring a direct punch from Garp without serious injury?

That surpassed imagination entirely.

Meanwhile, Kahn rolled his shoulders slightly before charging forward again.

“Again!” This time, he stopped holding back.

Boom!!

The ground cracked beneath his feet as he accelerated violently toward Garp.

Every punch carried his full physical strength.

Sharp gusts of wind followed each strike.

Kahn circled around Garp continuously, attacking from different angles while searching for openings.

Yet Garp remained standing casually in place.

One hand behind his back.

The other effortlessly parrying Kahn’s attacks.

“Too slow.” “Your balance is unstable.” “You’re wasting force when you throw punches.” Garp corrected him calmly while blocking each strike.

But inwardly— His shock only continued growing.

This brat’s stamina was terrifying.

Most adults would have collapsed already after attacking so intensely.

Kahn, however, showed no signs of exhaustion whatsoever.

Even more frightening— Garp noticed something abnormal during the battle itself.

Kahn was gradually becoming stronger.

No.

More accurately— The sunlight was continuously strengthening him during combat.

That realization completely shattered Garp’s understanding of normal human physiology.

Kahn suddenly twisted his body midair before unleashing a vicious spinning kick toward Garp’s neck.

Garp raised his forearm casually to block.

Bang!!

The recoil instantly disrupted Kahn’s balance.

Garp seized the opening immediately.

Smack!!

His palm slammed directly into Kahn’s back.

Boom!!

Kahn crashed into the ground like a cannonball.

The earth exploded apart, creating a large crater filled with dust and shattered stone.

Inside the cabin, Curly Dadan covered her mouth in panic.

Dogra and Magra were already trembling together in fear.

Ace clenched his fists tightly enough for his nails to cut into his palms.

Even Garp frowned slightly afterward.

Did he hit too hard?

After all, Kahn was still only three years old.

Just as Garp stepped forward— The dust within the crater shifted.

A small hand covered in dirt gripped the edge of the pit.

Then Kahn climbed out slowly.

He spat muddy saliva onto the ground.

Aside from dirt stains and slightly messy hair— He looked completely fine.

“Old man…” Kahn dusted mud from his chest calmly.

“Didn’t you eat breakfast today?” Silence.

Garp froze completely.

Then— “BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!” His laughter exploded across Mount Colubo like thunder.

“GOOD!” “That’s my grandson!!” The old marine laughed so hard tears streamed from his eyes.

He strode forward and grabbed Kahn directly from the crater before roughly rubbing his hair.

Kahn immediately slapped Garp’s hand away with visible disgust.

“Don’t touch me.” “You’re filthy.” Garp ignored the attitude entirely.

Instead, he stared at Kahn like a man who had discovered the greatest treasure in the world.

The potential hidden inside this child was horrifying.

No Devil Fruit.

No special weapon.

No enhancements.

Pure physical talent alone.

If this brat mastered physical techniques and Haki properly, he would absolutely become one of the top monsters ruling the seas in the future.

Perhaps— He might even surpass Garp himself someday.

At that moment, Garp made a decision internally.

He would not allow such talent to rot away on Mount Colubo.

Everything he knew about combat— Everything he had learned throughout decades fighting pirates like Rocks D.

Xebec and Roger— He would cram it all into Kahn’s head.

As for Haki… Not yet.

A child’s body still could not endure formal Haki training properly.

But once Kahn grew older— Garp would teach him personally.

“At ten years old…” Garp muttered inwardly while looking at Kahn.

“I’ll personally teach this brat Armament Haki.” Then Garp turned toward Ace.

“Ace!” “Look at your brother!” “Then look at yourself!” “Starting tomorrow, I’m redesigning both your training programs completely!” Ace instantly shivered.

An overwhelming sense of doom suddenly filled his body.

Meanwhile, Kahn cracked his neck calmly.

This outcome matched his expectations perfectly.

Only by displaying enough value could he extract more resources and training from Garp.

Self-training alone was too inefficient.

Having a Marine legend personally supervise his growth was an opportunity impossible to waste.

Eventually, Dadan finally recovered from her shock.

Looking at the two monsters standing in her yard, she felt her lifespan shortening rapidly.

“Vice Admiral Garp…” She looked ready to cry.

“This is a wooden cabin!” “It can’t survive your nonsense much longer!” Garp casually picked his nose again.

“Enough whining.” “Hurry up and roast the wild boar.” “I’m starving.” The old marine sat down heavily upon a log.

Meanwhile, Kahn walked toward the water barrel nearby before scooping water over himself to wash away dirt and mud.

The cold well water refreshed him slightly.

Then he raised his head toward the sky.

The sun had fully risen.

Golden sunlight poured endlessly across the forests of Mount Colubo.

Immediately, Kahn felt his stamina recovering at a frightening speed.

The muscle fibers damaged during battle regenerated stronger than before.

His bones grew denser after enduring impact.

His Kryptonian physiology continuously evolved beneath the sunlight.

As long as he did not die outright— Solar radiation would gradually restore him completely.

And afterward— He would become even stronger than before.

Nearby, Garp tore into roasted wild boar meat while continuing to observe Kahn carefully.

That recovery ability… It was ridiculous.

The slap he used earlier could easily cripple ordinary adults for days.

Yet Kahn recovered after washing himself with cold water and standing under sunlight briefly.

Complete monster.

“Kahn.” Garp swallowed another enormous piece of meat before speaking.

“Starting today, your training volume increases tenfold.” “I’ll personally teach you the Navy’s foundational combat techniques and the basics behind the Rokushiki.” The Dadan Family nearly gasped themselves unconscious.

Ten times?!

That sounded less like training and more like attempted murder.

Ace’s face turned pale immediately.

But Kahn simply dried his body calmly before smiling faintly.

“Ten times isn’t enough.” “Make it twenty.” Silence.

The entire cabin froze.

Even Garp stopped chewing.

The roasted meat slipped directly from his hand.

During his decades in the Marines, Garp had trained countless recruits.

He had seen talented soldiers.

Determined soldiers.

Insane soldiers.

But he had never seen a three-year-old voluntarily request twenty times more training.

This brat was abnormal mentally too.

Then— Garp burst into laughter again.

“GOOD!!” “You’ve got guts!” “Twenty times it is!” “If you start crying later, I’ll toss you into the sea to feed Sea Kings!” Kahn calmly walked toward the sunniest patch of grass before sitting down cross-legged.

“You should worry about Ace instead.” “He can’t even survive my current training.” Instant emotional damage.

Ace exploded immediately.

“KAHN, YOU BASTARD!!” “I WANT TWENTY TIMES TOO!!” Smack!!

Garp slapped Ace’s head instantly.

“Don’t talk nonsense!” “Fix your tiny body first!” Garp understood the difference clearly.

Ace possessed extraordinary talent.

But Kahn?

Kahn completely surpassed normal logic.

From that day onward, Mount Colubo became hell itself.

Garp temporarily stopped returning to Marine Headquarters entirely.

Instead, he remained on the mountain personally training the twins every day.

Or rather— Personally torturing them.

Carrying massive boulders uphill.

Punching beneath violent waterfalls.

Wrestling giant beasts barehanded.

Running through forests while carrying impossible weights.

Kahn endured all of it without complaint.

Every day, Garp pushed his body beyond its limits.

Then Kahn recovered beneath sunlight while absorbing solar energy continuously.

Garp could only watch helplessly as the child’s strength increased at terrifying speed daily.

One month later— Kahn could already exchange dozens of blows against Garp without using Haki.

Although he still lost eventually— Garp found himself gradually increasing his own strength more and more during each spar.

The speed of improvement felt absurd even to him.

“If I had this physique back in my prime…” Garp muttered while sitting beneath a tree.

“That old bastard Rocks would’ve died long ago.” Nearby, Kahn stood beneath blazing sunlight while sweat rolled across his body.

Garp watched him silently.

This wasn’t merely Roger’s bloodline anymore.

This child was becoming a brand-new monster destined to shake the seas themselves.

As long as Kahn didn’t walk down the wrong path— Even the position of Fleet Admiral could eventually become his.

For a brief moment, Garp even imagined Kahn wearing a Marine coat of justice proudly.

Completely forgetting Roger’s blood still flowed through the boy’s veins.

Meanwhile, Kahn smashed a thick tree trunk apart with one punch.

Crack!!

Wood exploded outward instantly.

He calmly shook splinters from his hand while feeling the overwhelming power flowing through his body.

Thanks to Garp’s brutal training, he had already grasped the fundamentals behind Rokushiki techniques.

As his body continued evolving, mastering those abilities fully was only a matter of time.

And this— Was merely the beginning.

The countdown toward the future Battle of Marineford had already started long ago.

Kahn still possessed plenty of time.

Enough time to become an invincible existence surpassing even the Admirals themselves.

Enough time to seize fate by the throat.

The sunlight intensified further.

Kahn slowly faced the blazing sun directly before inhaling deeply.

This feeling— Was incredible.
