Violently.

Directly.

Without patience.

At the edge of a towering cliff on Mount Colubo, fierce winds howled endlessly across the mountain.

Hundreds of meters below, jagged rocks lined the coast while violent waves crashed against them repeatedly, exploding into white spray.

Garp stood near the cliff edge with his Marine coat fluttering behind him.

“Listen carefully, brats.” “The Navy’s Rokushiki are superhuman techniques that push the human body beyond its normal limits.” He raised one thick finger while speaking.

“Shave.” “Iron Body.” “Paper Arts.” “Moonwalk.” “Tempest Kick.” “Finger Pistol.” Each name carried tremendous weight.

Within the world of One Piece, Rokushiki techniques represented elite combat arts mastered primarily by Cipher Pol assassins and specially trained fighters.

Even among Marines, few could use them proficiently.

Garp waved his finger directly before Ace’s face.

“Master these techniques, and you’ll at least have the qualifications to survive on the seas.” Portgas D.

Ace nervously peeked downward from the cliff edge before swallowing hard.

At that height, falling normally meant death.

Meanwhile, Kahn remained calm.

Compared to fear, he cared far more about the underlying principles behind Rokushiki.

Back in his previous life, abilities like Moonwalk seemed almost magical while watching anime.

But now that he existed inside this world physically, Kahn realized these abilities likely relied upon extreme muscle control, explosive force, and biological mechanics.

“Today,” Garp announced proudly, “I’m teaching you how to survive falling to your deaths.” Then he grinned widely.

“Moonwalk.” Boom!!

Before either child could react, Garp vanished instantly.

A loud sonic burst echoed through the sky.

Kahn looked upward sharply.

There— Garp stood in midair casually.

As if invisible stairs existed beneath his feet.

“See that?” Garp barked proudly.

Then he casually took several steps through the sky itself.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Each step produced sharp cracking sounds from compressed air exploding beneath his feet.

“By kicking the air dozens of times in an instant, you create enough reaction force to move freely through the sky.” “That’s Moonwalk.” Garp landed heavily upon the cliff again, cracking the stone beneath his feet.

“The principle’s simple.” “As long as your legs are strong enough and your explosive force is fast enough, even pigs can fly.” Ace instantly became annoyed.

“You old geezer, who’re you calling a pig?!” Bonk!!

Garp punched Ace’s head immediately.

“Shut up and train!” Then Garp pointed directly toward the abyss below.

“Jump off the cliff.” “Learn to step on air before you hit the ground.” “If you fail, then just die.” Ace’s face turned pale instantly.

“YOU’RE A DEMON!!” Garp ignored him completely before turning toward Kahn.

“Kahn.” “You go first.” Kahn walked calmly toward the cliff edge.

The blazing sunlight illuminated his body warmly.

Solar energy continuously surged throughout every cell within him, filling him with overwhelming vitality.

Fear simply did not exist.

“Kicking the air…” Kahn murmured softly.

Then he jumped.

Ace screamed instantly.

“KAHN, ARE YOU INSANE?!” Kahn’s body plummeted rapidly toward the rocky coast below.

Violent winds screamed past his ears.

The sensation of freefall swallowed him entirely.

Yet even while falling, Kahn remained calm.

He adjusted his posture midair instinctively.

Fifty meters.

Sixty meters.

The cliff rapidly disappeared above him.

Then— Kahn inhaled deeply.

The muscles in his thighs instantly tightened explosively.

Boom!!

His leg kicked outward at terrifying speed.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!!

The surrounding air compressed violently beneath his feet.

For an instant— The air itself became solid.

A powerful reaction force erupted upward.

Kahn’s descending body suddenly halted in midair.

Success.

He had done it.

Moonwalk.

And surprisingly— It was far easier than expected.

As long as one possessed monstrous physical capabilities, the technique itself was merely advanced physics and muscle control.

Kahn calmly stepped upward through the air.

One step at a time.

Like walking invisible stairs.

Back atop the cliff, even Garp raised an eyebrow.

“…You learned it immediately?” Although he already knew Kahn was abnormal, mastering Moonwalk in a single attempt still exceeded expectations.

Even Garp himself had required weeks to fully grasp the technique during his younger years.

Kahn landed calmly back upon the cliff.

“So-so.” Then he dusted off his pants casually.

“It wastes too much energy.” “And the movement method is too crude.” Garp nearly choked.

“CRUDE?!” “This is one of the Navy’s greatest movement techniques refined over generations!” But Kahn remained thoughtful instead of arguing.

In his eyes, Moonwalk still possessed severe flaws.

It relied entirely upon continuous explosive force to resist gravity.

It produced noise.

Consumed stamina rapidly.

And most importantly— It wasn’t true flight.

Kahn possessed Kryptonian physiology.

And Kryptonians did not fly by kicking air.

Superman’s flight was biological.

Instinctive.

Natural.

If solar energy could strengthen his body endlessly— Could it also awaken true flight eventually?

From that moment onward, Kahn completely changed his training direction.

The following days became miserable for Ace.

Again and again, Garp forced him to jump from the cliff.

Again and again, Ace failed.

Every fall ended with bruises, cuts, and panicked screaming before Garp finally rescued him at the last second.

Yet Ace’s tenacity remained monstrous.

Only three days later, he could already produce brief bursts beneath his feet midair.

Although still clumsy, he had at least begun slowing his descent.

Meanwhile— Kahn stopped practicing Moonwalk entirely.

Instead, he climbed daily toward the highest peak of Mount Colubo.

At the summit stood a gigantic protruding stone overlooking the entire region.

It was the closest point to the sun.

There, Kahn sat cross-legged silently beneath blazing sunlight.

Eyes closed.

Body still.

He focused entirely upon the solar energy flowing through him.

Previously, sunlight merely strengthened his body passively.

Now— He attempted to actively control it.

To oppose gravity itself.

The process proved extremely difficult.

At first, he could only sense his body becoming lighter.

Almost like floating underwater.

But that wasn’t enough.

Days passed.

Eventually, even Garp grew irritated.

“That brat’s slacking off again…” Garp stood atop a tree branch while staring toward the distant mountain peak.

“He already learned Moonwalk.” “So what’s the point of sitting around like a monk all day?” Garp prepared to drag Kahn back forcefully.

Then— Something changed.

Pebbles surrounding Kahn suddenly trembled.

Tiny stones slowly rose into the air.

There was no wind.

No visible force.

The rocks simply floated naturally.

Garp’s eyes narrowed sharply.

Kahn slowly opened his eyes.

A faint golden glow flashed deep within his pupils.

He found it.

The answer.

The biomagnetic field generated by his body was interacting directly with the planet itself.

Or perhaps— His willpower was distorting gravity around him unconsciously.

Kahn slowly stood.

This time, he did not push against the ground.

Instead— His feet naturally lifted away from the rock.

One centimeter.

Ten centimeters.

One meter.

Kahn floated upright in complete silence.

No explosive sounds.

No violent movements.

He hovered effortlessly like a feather drifting through the air.

Then— Whoosh!!

Kahn accelerated instantly.

His body transformed into a blur before shooting hundreds of meters into the sky within seconds.

The clouds rushed past him.

The mountain shrank rapidly below.

Kahn stopped abruptly midair.

Then changed direction instantly and dived downward again without requiring leverage or support.

Absolute freedom.

Absolute control.

This— Was true flight.

Kahn soared across the sky at astonishing speed.

No Moonwalk.

No external support.

Pure biological flight through his own body alone.

Meanwhile, Garp stood frozen upon the tree branch.

The senbei in his hand dropped directly to the ground.

His eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets.

“…What the hell?” Even after decades battling monsters across the seas, Garp had never witnessed anything like this before.

Finally, the old marine looked upward and shouted: “HEY, BRAT!” Kahn stopped midair and looked downward calmly.

Garp’s expression had become unusually serious.

“…Did you secretly eat a Devil Fruit?” That was the only explanation his mind could produce.

After all, abilities involving flight immediately reminded him of Shiki and the powers of the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi.

Could that fruit somehow have reincarnated onto Mount Colubo?

Otherwise— How could a three-year-old child fly naturally through the sky using his own body alone?
