You’re Impostors, Aren’t You?
9: Jack: The 17th Division?
You’re Impostors, Aren’t You?
“Hey, hey, aren’t you guys celebrating a little too early?” “Only two of them have appeared for now.
Who knows whether there are more people inside?” A crew member nearby reminded them.
The moment Jack heard that, his anger immediately rose.
He grabbed the pirate who had spoken with one hand and casually threw him aside.
“You bastard.
Say something like that again, and I’ll kill you.” Jack’s personality was domineering and ruthless.
He had no patience for negotiation or discussion.
If something could be solved through force, then he would solve it through force.
He was decisive and fearless when taking action.
His biggest flaw, however…
was that he was extremely reckless.
So forget ordinary members under Whitebeard.
As long as there was only one ship, even if Whitebeard himself—the man known as the Strongest Man in the World—were aboard, Jack would still want to clash with him head-on.
The word fear simply did not exist in his vocabulary.
Meanwhile, Ren Mori had naturally realized that the people they had encountered were no ordinary pirates.
“The Beasts Pirates?” “Why are these guys here?” Ren Mori stared at the rapidly approaching ship and muttered to himself.
“The Beasts Pirates?” Madara Uchiha, standing beside him, looked completely confused.
Although he knew nothing about them, judging from Ren Mori’s expression, he could tell that these newcomers were not ordinary opponents.
“Yeah.” Ren Mori nodded, then briefly explained, “The Beasts Pirates are the crew of one of the Four Emperors, just like the Whitebeard Pirates.” “As for their strength…
naturally, there’s no need to question it.” Madara had originally shown little interest.
But after hearing Ren Mori’s explanation, a rare smile appeared on his face.
“Then they arrived at just the right time.” “Ever since I came to this world, I’ve been stuck aboard this miserable ship.” “I’m almost going crazy.” “I only hope those people don’t disappoint me.” Madara complained as he casually loosened up his body.
His gaze locked onto Jack and the others approaching at high speed, carrying an almost hungry anticipation.
Madara really is a complete battle maniac…
Ren Mori glanced at Madara from the side, clicked his tongue, and shook his head.
A short while later, Jack’s ship finally drew alongside theirs.
Jack stood at the bow with his arms folded across his chest.
With his head held high, he looked down arrogantly at Ren Mori and Madara.
Truthfully, Jack did not believe either of them was even worth personally attacking.
Otherwise, he would not simply be standing there doing nothing.
“I’ll give you one minute.” “Call your Division Commander out here.” Jack’s tone was filled with arrogance.
He had already formed two plans in his mind.
If there really was one of Whitebeard’s Division Commanders aboard, then Jack intended to give the Whitebeard Pirates a show of force.
If there was no Division Commander…
then he would destroy the ship without the slightest hesitation.
Naturally, as a transmigrator, Ren Mori immediately recognized the man standing before him.
“There’s no need to call anyone.” “I’m the Division Commander.” Ren Mori looked directly at Jack and answered calmly.
“Hm?” Jack was clearly caught off guard by that response.
“What the hell?” “Did one of the sixteen Division Commanders get replaced?” Ren Mori smiled and shrugged.
“Don’t misunderstand.” “None of the sixteen Division Commanders were replaced.” “I’m the Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates’ 17th Division.” “Huh?” “17th Division?” “When the hell did the Whitebeard Pirates get a 17th Division?” “And the two of you look completely unfamiliar.” Jack narrowed his eyes.
“You two idiots aren’t going around pretending to be Whitebeard’s men to scam people, are you?” “If that really is the case, then you picked the wrong day to run into me.” “Because I’ve never liked that old bastard Whitebeard anyway.” Ren Mori had no interest in explaining himself.
Whether Jack believed him or not had nothing to do with him.
Madara glanced at Ren Mori.
Ren Mori simply nodded.
He understood exactly what Madara wanted.
The next instant— Madara leaped into the air.
He swiftly pulled the sickle from his back and brought it crashing down toward Jack.
“How boring.” Faced with Madara’s sudden attack, Jack could not even be bothered to dodge.
He merely raised one arm.
Armament Haki instantly coated it.
Then, staring at the incoming Madara, Jack said coldly, “It’s useless.” The moment those words left his mouth, Madara was already upon him.
The sickle smashed heavily against Jack’s arm.
Bang!
A violent burst of air erupted outward.
The deck beneath Jack’s feet instantly fractured, spiderweb-like cracks spreading across the wood.
At that moment, Jack’s eyes clearly widened.
Yes.
He had never imagined that Madara’s attack would contain this much force.
Crack…
Crack…
The deck continued splitting beneath him.
Then Jack suddenly lost his footing and plunged straight downward.
Boom!
Dust and debris exploded into the air.
The pirates standing behind Jack froze.
Then, almost simultaneously, they shouted, “C-Captain Jack!” Suddenly— Whoosh!
A violent sound tore through the air.
Jack shot out from the cloud of dust and landed on an undamaged section of the deck.
His gaze immediately shifted toward Madara, who was now standing atop one of the ship’s masts.
“You’ve got some strength.” Jack sneered.
“But if you think something at this level is enough to defeat me…” “You’re dreaming.” Madara stood above him, looking down at Jack from the mast.
Faced with Jack’s provocation— he remained completely unmoved.
