Jack, who had still been angry moments earlier, immediately narrowed his eyes when he heard the words “Whitebeard Pirates.” His expression became noticeably more serious.

As one of the Four Emperors’ crews in the New World, the Whitebeard Pirates were naturally not an opponent Jack would take lightly.

After all, if he became careless against them, he could easily lose his life.Full novel: One Piece: The 17th Division Of Whitebeard Pirate’s — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“What did you say?” “The Whitebeard Pirates?” Jack fixed the reporting crew member with an icy stare.

The pirate immediately nodded.

“Yes, Captain Jack.

Judging from the pirate flag, there’s no mistake.

It belongs to the Whitebeard Pirates.” “What is that old man Whitebeard doing wandering around a place like this instead of staying in his own territory?” Jack muttered in confusion.

Then he looked back toward the pirate in front of him.

“How many of them are there?” “So far, we’ve only spotted one ship.” “I checked it through a telescope earlier, but I didn’t see anyone outside.” “It might even be an abandoned ship.” The pirate reported everything he knew without leaving out a single detail.

Jack listened thoughtfully.

Then he stood up and personally walked outside.

By now, the distance between the two ships had grown even shorter.

But after Jack took one look at the vessel ahead, he immediately sneered.

“Full speed ahead.” “Whether there’s anyone aboard that ship or not, destroy it.” Jack issued the order without hesitation.

“But Captain Jack…

shouldn’t we think this through a little more?” A crew member behind him hurriedly warned, “What if that old man Whitebeard is actually aboard?

If that happens, we’ll be in serious trouble.” Jack remained completely unmoved.

“That old man Whitebeard travels aboard the Moby Dick.” “This is obviously nothing more than a secondary ship.” “There’s absolutely no way Whitebeard himself is aboard.” He paused briefly before continuing.

“If I’m not mistaken, this should be a ship being used by one of the Whitebeard Pirates’ sixteen Division Commanders while carrying out some kind of mission.” “And even if it isn’t, then at most it belongs to one of the pirate crews affiliated with Whitebeard.” In the New World, the Four Emperors’ forces all possessed a certain amount of intelligence on one another.

After all, even though the Emperors themselves rarely engaged in major conflicts, smaller clashes between the members of their respective crews happened frequently.

Everyone wanted to seize territory from the others.

Because of that, the various Emperor crews had naturally developed a fairly good understanding of one another’s forces.

Jack’s words immediately gave the surrounding crew members considerably more confidence.

Compared to the Whitebeard Pirates’ Division Commanders, they were not particularly afraid.

The one they truly feared was that man known as the Strongest Man in the World— Edward Newgate.

Clack!

Clack!

Clack!

Following Jack’s order, the cannons aboard the ship were quickly aimed at Ren Mori’s vessel ahead.

Now all they had to do was move a little closer.

Then they could attack.

A short while later, a booming voice rang out.

“Fire!” The moment Jack roared the command— Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Cannonballs were launched one after another.

In the blink of an eye, a dense barrage of cannonballs filled the air.

Tracing arcs through the sky, they all came crashing down toward Ren Mori’s ship.

Seeing this, even Jack was somewhat surprised.

No one has come out to defend the ship even now?

Could it really be nothing more than an empty vessel?

That thought flashed through Jack’s mind.

But in the very next second, something happened that no one had expected.

Once the cannonballs reached a certain distance from Ren Mori’s ship, they seemed to strike an invisible force.

Before they could even reach the deck, they exploded in midair.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Seeing this, both Jack and the other pirates aboard his ship froze.

Question marks practically appeared over their heads.

“C-Captain Jack…” “It looks like…

some kind of force stopped all of our cannonballs.” The pirate standing beside Jack spoke hesitantly.

Jack glanced at him.

“Do I look blind to you?” Then he sneered.

“But…

this is much more interesting.” “If it really were just an empty shell, there wouldn’t be any fun in that.” “Listen up!” “Full speed ahead.

Bring us alongside them.” …

At the same time— The barrier Madara Uchiha had set up had come under attack.

Naturally, the disturbance quickly woke him from his sleep.

Ren Mori had also awakened.

Before Madara could even open his door and step outside, a knock had already sounded from the other side.

Click.

The door opened.

Ren Mori’s figure immediately appeared before Madara’s eyes.

“The barrier was attacked.” “An enemy?” Madara asked Ren Mori.

Out on the seas, there were far more than just pirates and Marines.

There were also ordinary civilian vessels and merchant ships.

Madara had only recently arrived in this world.

Naturally, he still could not determine who was an enemy and who was friendly.

Hearing his question, Ren Mori’s lips curled upward slightly.

“They’re already attacking us.” “What do you think?” “Enemy or friend?” After pausing for a few seconds, Ren Mori added, “Besides, since they’ve already attacked us, it doesn’t matter who they are.” “They’ll have to pay the price.” Hearing that, Madara merely smiled faintly.

He said nothing more.

Then he followed Ren Mori outside.

Before long, the two of them appeared within Jack and his crew’s line of sight.

“Captain Jack!

Captain Jack!” “T-Two people just came out of the ship!” “Their faces look unfamiliar…” “They don’t seem to be any of the Whitebeard Pirates’ sixteen Division Commanders.” “I think…

they’re probably just ordinary members of the Whitebeard Pirates.” “That’s great!” “Looks like we can win this battle without even breaking a sweat.” ⚡ Support the Story & Unlock More Chapters!
