“The beast god…” father whispered reverently, his eyes going wide as he stared at me.
“Father, are you listening?
The avalanche would not happen in the first day but that is the day it will build up and the winter coming this year will be so had.
We need to get to higher ground and find a warm place to stay until it passes or we’re all dead…” then for emphasis, I pinched myself discreetly and instantly my eyes watered.
“Father the screams were so much….you should have seen it, so may people dying as the avalanche wrecked havoc everywhere.
It was a terrifying sight and I never want to experience that ever…” then I paused and slowly grabbed his large arm in my two hands.
“I don’t want you to die too,” I added and his eyes softened before he pulled me into his chest to console me.
“Stop!!” He called out and my eyes widened as I pulled away from him but found out that he wasn’t speaking to me but to the dispersing crowd.
“Chief, what is going on?” A voice asked and he gave me and unsure look but finding my determined eyes, something shifted in his gaze and he straightened as he turned to them.
“We just received vital information.
This coming winter will also come with an avalanche.” He dropped and shocked gasps filled the air.
“An avalanche?” “What’s that?” “Do you know what an avalanche is?” “Experienced it once during my younger years, it was the worst experience ever!!” “Really?
What’s if?” Father must have experienced it before to so essily understand what it was.
My heart filled with pride as I stared at him.

Thinking back to my other family that I escaped from all those years ago, I tsked as I clasped my hands together.

He gave me the premonition but he also gave me something else m…” I trailed off as I raised my hands up and willed the green earth energy to gather in my palms.

“We will have to double our efforts in this hunt and during the market gathering.
So we can be ready to leave in a month to seek higher ground and warmer temperatures.” He informed and many nodded which gave me a sense of relief and I instantly dispelled of the green energy that had been swirling on my pans for a while now.

And how would the beast god even come to a female so vile and evil?!” A voice recognized all too well called out and my brows furrowed as I turned towards the sound only to find nyssa staring at me with pure hate.

“You would rather believe that I’m lying than take a chance of survival?” I asked and she instantly replied when the others started whispering and nodding in agreement.
“You expect us to send out our males out to follow a dream of yours, wel why don’t you all send out your own males too?!!
Oh right,” she laughed maliciously as she took a single step forward.
“I almost forgot, you don’t have one.
So who would hunt for you or don’t tell me you expect us to suffer and feed you too?” She cried out loud and many females began to point and soeak in enraged tones.
“I–” “I will hunt for her,” “I will hunt for her,” Surprise rushed through me as I turned around at the sound only to find two males staring at each other with something akin to competition in their eyes.
