If I stand up now then I have to explain and I don’t have anything to say….at least not yet.

Males could possess abilities yes but never females and besides, the males who possess abilities are not even much because not every male is capable of breaking through that tiny line that would breach you right into your ability realm.

Explained simply is this; there is a sort of blockage within every beast man and while that if a male if as thin as a line and has a staggering 80% of being breached, that of a female is like…2%.

Weren’t you the one who wrote this book?

Why are you acting like I’m the one who did?

And host, I’ve told you before, beast god remember!!

Beast god what?

You just don’t understand what I’m trying to sa— Beast god!!!!!!!

Yes, how could I have forgotten all about that guy up there?!

“Here, make her drink the medicine and I’m sure she’ll wake up so–” Wait, medicine?

My eyes snapped open immediately and I glanced around, making sure to act as someone waking up would.

“Lyrielle!

You’re awake, here drink this.” Father quickly passed me the wooden bowl and my face twinged into a frown as the pungent scent coming from it filled my nose.

“What is this?” I asked, my voice soft and father turned to look at the healer.

“It’s just a herb to help you heal up completely without anymore issue.” She explained simply and I nodded.

I ain’t drinking that?

I hated syringes and drugs back in my world, and now you want me to take this?

I gagged but held myself back before an idea sparked up inside my head.

I brought out my left hand and instantly willed the earth energy to gather and it immediately filled my hands and just as I expected, gasps filled the place as their eyes rushed to my hands and using that time, I didn’t even turn my head before I poured the herbal medicine away.

“What did you put in it?

It’s sour and a tad bit sweet but still more bitter.” I asked as I twinged my nose and passed the bowl back and father’s eyes snapped back to mine.

“Lyrielle?” Father asked and I smiled.

“After that night you found me by the lake outside the tribe, I started feeling like I had more energy within me than ever and when I mistakenly hurt my hands while cleaning, the wound healed up and then later I started healing myself more.” I explained as vaguely as possible and father’s eye widened as he watched the green energy swirl around in my palms.

Hehehe, I think I should send this same words to other worlds because, you can lie!

Hey, there’s some truth there!

Yeah?

Like what?

I did get the ability after I woke up in this world….by the lake.

“Chief, do you know what this means?” The healer asked, her expression turning grave and father nodded before he turned to me with a serious expression.

“Lyrielle, there has never been a female with an ability in the last five hundred or seven hundred years and for one to appear in this small tribe would mean serious trouble…” he paused and my brows furrowed as something nibbled at my head.

So this was what I wrote?

Well, why’s everything coming back to bite me in the ass?

“And right now, you have a lot of enemies in this tribe.

It would be best if you keep this to yourself and I alongside the healer would do the same too.

For your safety and that of th tribe.” I nodded alongside his words and he gave out a small exhale of relief but right there and then, my stomach decided it had waited enough an decided to growl so loudly, the entire tribe must have heard and thought it was another rogue attack.

Fuck!!

My cheeks tinged red as I looked away and father laughed, the sound deep and further making me redden more and more.

“I’ll have someone bring you food immediately.

You love fruits more right?

I’ll add that too.” He said as he stood up and I nodded right before he left the cave.

“I….I’ll be going now,” I said awkwardly to the healer as I stood up and began to walk out but her voice stopped me at the door.

“You should work more on your losing consciousness abilities, Lyrielle.” Those words had my eyes going closed in horror as the highest level of embarrassment washed over me and I didn’t even look back before I dashed away from the cave.

Fuck, you were right system.

She knew!!

Of course she did.

But host, now that you’ve told them about this ability, are you certain the healer isn’t someone who would trade your secret for herbs?

Argh?

I don’t think so, and why would she even trade something this huge to their world for something as small as herbs?

Makes sense I suppose.

“The chief has called for us to all gather at the tribe center, where are you going?” A small voice reached my ears and I glanced around in search of the person who had said that but found no one.

Miumiu, am I hallucinating?

Is it a side effect of something I ate?

Or maybe I’m way too hungry?

I don’t know, host.

But I don’t think so because I heard the same thing.

Hmm, so where did it come from?

I glanced around as I continued to walk but then I seemed to have slammed my legs on something and went stumbling forward with a yelp.

“Am right here, dummy!!” An enraged voice filled the air and I glanced downwards to find a golden furred lion cub staring at me with pure malice.

“Aziel?” I asked as I bent down and it huffed.

“What are you doing here?” I asked as I picked him up and cradled him to my chest.

“You-you–” “What is it?

Is there something on my face?” I asked and he shook his furry head at me.

“I was coming to check up on you but stopped to hear the message that the Chief wants us to come to the center.” He informed me and I hummed.

Oh, okay.

I suppose he would want that after such a troublesome battle with those rogue beasts.

“Alright, let’s go.” I said and then changed paths and began to head over to the tribe center and it didn’t take quite long before we got there and I quickly found myself an empty log to sit on.

“Isn’t that Aziel ?” “I heard he’s better now,” “What’s he doing with that evil female?” “She’s so beautiful,” “I would like to try my hand in being her male,” “Me too.” Aziel let out a small growl and my brows furrowed as I looked down at him.

“Are you okay?” I asked and he huffed but nodded all the same.

Soon, father stepped onto the small podium and glanced around and when he spotted me, he gave me a small smile.

“I’m sure a lot of you are shaken by the rogue attack today, but we have quelled it without much casualties and the wounded males are being tended to by the healer now.

They’ll be fine.” A breath of relief seemed to pass through the crowd and I smiled.

That’s my father.

Weird, u looked around the place and found someone missing.

Mumiu, where’s that female protagonist of ours?

Right there with a male.

I glanced around instinctively and found her nestled into the arms of a broad shouldered and eight abs male who was holding her with so much care.

As if she would break if he wasn’t holding her right.

Pfftt.

“I also called you here for something else.

With winter in less than two months, we will have to attend the market gathering in three days time and we’ll have to do that with more supplies than usual.” Murmurings rose up from the crowd at that and my brows furrowed in question as I once again looked around.

Why were they so shaken by it?

“I am aware that every one of you has something to say or object to but now is not the right time.

If we don’t stock up on enough before winter then many of us will starve and that is not a solution.

So today, every mated female with five or more beast males will send out two males to partake in the hunt.

Ranging from Tier three upwards.” Father announced calmly and the entire place went up in an uproar.

“What if my males die out there?

He’s not going!!” “Yes, yes!

Why should they only be the one to suffer?” “Silence.

We will be dividing the males into groups of eight and each will take a different location in the forests and will be back by tomorrow evening.

And not only mated males but also unmated males too will participate.” He continued and I nodded to myself.

That was a good approach to it because I’m certain that by next month, many of the beasts in the forests would begin to migrate to warmer places for wint—.

Fuck!!!

Is this the winter where I wrote about the Avalanche???

Um—yesssssss.

Host, how could we forget all about that?!!!

And it’s in two months?!!!

I quickly shut to my feet in pure horror and turned towards my father.

“This is not up for discussion.

Get your males out or leave the tribe!” Father’s voice had the entire place going silent and my lips twitched.

That’s my father.

Host?

What?

The avalanche?

Oh yesss!

How could I forget about that?

I quickly began to make my way over to father and once he spotted me coming, he smiled and began to head over to me but just then, someone inserted themselves in fathers face.

It was Luna.

Am so sorry, female lead but I need to steal father right now without question.

“Father!!” I called out sharply as I grabbed his arms and began to pull him away from the crowd while sending Luna an apologetic smile but she returned it instead and I felt small relief.

“What is it?

Lyrielle, you don’t look so good.” Father touched my head to check and I shook it.

“Father, I need to tell you something right now and what I’m about to tell you is really important..” Stop repeating yourself, host.

“Aziel, space please.” I slowly lowered Aziel to the ground and he nodded before he darted away.

“What is it?

You look like you ate something ba-” “There would be an avalanche, father.

A huge avalanche will happen in two months time during winter.

It will sweep through the entire valley and destroy a lot of tribe, ours included.” I informed, my face turning pale the longer I thought of it.

I remember this avalanche was the one that began to set the stage for the original owners death.

She had tried to use Luna as a shield one time during the avalanche and had barely survived it after Luna was saved by one of the five male leads.

But that was not all, this avalanche would kill a lot of females.

“Lyrielle, stop this…but are you sure of this?” He finally asked and I nodded.

“Father, it was very horrifying.

A male came to me in a dream, he had so much power and he showed this to me in that dream.

Father, I…I saw you die protecting me, I don’t eat that to happen.

You have to believe me.” Urggh host?

Your father didn’t die… Shut up!!
