Mo Yu's participation in the sniping had disrupted the timeline.

The crowd had been alerted ahead of schedule.

The Head Spiders' individual movement patterns had deviated from before, but the Mirror Image was still repeating its previous actions, so most of the following bullets landed on empty air.Full novel: Please Destroy the Main Timeline — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

11 out of 20 bullets hit.

This was the drawback of rewinding.

Any interference would trigger the Butterfly Effect, making precise operations impossible.

Mo Yu didn't dwell on this. He was rapidly reloading and firing, sniping as many Head Spiders as possible.

Of the 41 Head Spiders, only 8 managed to escape in the end.

The swimming pool was already stained with blackish-green blood, and spider fragments littered the ground.

Mo Yu let out a long breath and activated Rewind.

He rewound to 9:02, back to when he was in the hotel bathroom, just after setting down the weapons crate.

He generated a Mirror Image and watched it leave.

At 10:30, two Mirror Images would carry out a precise sniping operation.

Mo Yu picked up the weapons crate, ducked into a random second-floor room, split the weapons into four sets, attached suppressors, distributed ammunition, then made a trip to the manager's office to grab a keyring and a universal room card.

Once that was done, he returned to the room and locked the door from the inside to wait.

10:25.

Mo Yu began to move.

He first went down to the surveillance room, unlocking the door with his key. Four security guards were stationed there, all Head Spiders.

Without any hesitation, he opened fire at lightning speed, killing every Head Spider, then activated Rewind, going back to before the action and generating a Mirror Image.

The Mirror Image took the weapons and key and left.

Mo Yu waited three minutes.

10:28.

He picked up a suppressed pistol and the room card and headed out.

He used the universal room card to open the door of the next room.

There were four people inside.

Three Head Spiders and one young man.

Two Head Spiders were pinning the young man down while a third lay on top of him, mouth to mouth—black spider legs could be seen moving inside their mouths.

Mo Yu opened fire without hesitation.

The Head Spiders were shot dead before they could even react.

He repeated the same method in the next room.

Open the door, shoot.

The whole process flowed like water, without the slightest pause. The only troublesome part was that some Humans would scream, requiring him to knock them out.

After clearing two floors as fast as possible, Mo Yu activated Rewind.

He rewound to 10:28.

He generated a Mirror Image.

After watching the Mirror Image leave, he picked up another suppressed pistol and room card, entered the elevator, and headed to the 4th floor to start killing.

The 4th and 5th floors were wiped clean.

He rewound.

He rewound to 10:28 once again.

Mo Yu picked up a Submachine Gun and room card, followed the second Mirror Image into the elevator, and pressed the button for the 6th floor.

After clearing the 6th floor, he rewound again.

He rewound to 10:28.

The remaining weapons were a Shotgun, a Rifle, and four grenades. He brought them all, followed two Mirror Images into the elevator, and pressed the button for the 7th floor.

The Mirror Images got off at the 4th and 6th floors respectively and began their slaughter.

The elevator reached the 7th floor.

This was a banquet hall.

Ten minutes ago, a large number of Head Spiders had gathered inside.

Two armed Head Spiders stood guard at the entrance. As Mo Yu stepped out of the elevator, he raised the Shotgun and aimed, blowing their heads apart before they could react.

A single shot shattered the wooden door's lock. He kicked open the banquet hall doors and made a flashy entrance, Shotgun slung over his shoulder, greeting the room with a loud shout:

"Good morning! Monsters! Help me unlock the Illustration Book!"

The room fell silent.

Over 50 people turned their heads at once.

Every single one of them rolled back their eyes, mouths gaping open as spider heads and eight black spider legs emerged from within, countless red eyes fixed on him.

The sight was bone-chilling.

Mo Yu pulled the trigger and blew apart the nearest Head Spider.

At the center of the crowd, an old man in a white formal suit let out a shrill screech: "Boy! Who are you? Do you know who's behind us? You dare come here and cause trouble?!"

"Me? I was hired to come here!"

Mo Yu answered.

He emptied the Shotgun at lightning speed, blasting apart the nearest four, then pulled the Rifle from his back, let out a "heh heh heh" laugh, and began firing indiscriminately.

The Head Spider swarm went into a frenzy—but instead of attacking, they severed their own necks, heads separating from bodies. Countless heads dropped to the floor, sprouted eight legs, and crawled across the ground, converging toward the center.

Over 50 heads gathered together and began fusing with one another, forming a meatball made of skulls, which then grew eight long, slender black spider legs.

【This is a Head Spider Collective. It is extremely dangerous. Fleeing is advised.】

The Panel Prompt had changed.

Rifle bullets struck the Head Spider Collective, only managing to shatter a few heads and burst out some green blood, unable to deal any real damage.

The Head Spider Collective moved.

Every head opened its mouth and roared, the voices overlapping into something like a demonic chorus.

"You're asking for it!" "I'll eat you!" "How dare you cause trouble here!" "Kill him, kill him, kill him!" . . .

Its eight slender spider legs whipped rapidly, propelling the meatball—over two meters in diameter—into a charge, barreling forward like a small truck.

Mo Yu dropped the Rifle, pulled out four grenades, and bit off the pins.

Seeing this, the Head Spider Collective let out a shrill screech, its eight legs slamming to a halt—but its massive body couldn't stop in time, its sharp spider legs scraping against the ground and throwing off a shower of sparks.

"He's insane!" "Get away!" "Don't you dare come closer!" . . .

The Head Spider Collective screamed in terror, every head twisted with fear.

Instead of retreating, Mo Yu lunged forward, clutching the grenades.

"Fireworks incoming!"

The next second.

His figure vanished, leaving only four grenades floating in the air.

The Head Spider Collective tried to flee, but the grenades let out a blinding flash that filled its entire field of vision . . .

6:51.

In a corner outside the villa, three Mo Yus appeared.

Mo Yu stretched.

The results of the hunt: the grenades had torn the Head Spider Collective to shreds, all the Head Spiders inside the building were wiped out, though quite a few outside had escaped.

That was good enough.

The Security Team arrived quickly, leaving him no time to clean up the stragglers, so he simply ended the hunt and rewound back to the morning, to the moment he'd parted ways with his Mirror Image.

The Panel hadn't updated.

Rewinding would wipe out the combat results—the Mirror Image needed to kill the Head Spiders, and only after the rewind point had passed and the timeline was fixed would the rewards be settled, which meant it wouldn't happen until around 4:40 in the afternoon.

Right now there were two Mirror Images—this was the point where he'd released the first Mirror Image and then immediately cast a second one. The two Mirror Images represented the development of two separate lines; a Mirror Image would repeat everything, including rewinding to generate other Mirror Images.

The first Mirror Image would send Elise to school, follow the maid shopping, and finally return to the villa.

The second Mirror Image would do a zero-cost heist, then head to the Star Guest Grand Hotel, where at 10:30, six Mirror Images would launch a hunt to wipe out the Kissing Cult.

Now, he would cancel the first Mirror Image and take its place, repeating the morning's events himself so he'd have an alibi.

If he rewound further back before generating the Mirror Image, then the Mirror Image would split into two at this exact point and automatically execute both lines, requiring him to perform an extra manual operation—canceling the Mirror Image representing the first line.

He watched the second Mirror Image leave.

Mo Yu yawned and returned to the villa.

As long as he didn't interfere further, the Head Spider Collective's Death ending was already sealed.

He grabbed breakfast from the kitchen, then went to wait in the garage after eating.

The maid opened the garage door right on time, and Elise appeared, dressed up beautifully. She drove off, ran into the Kissing Cult blocking the road, and took a detour to school.

Everything went smoothly.

At the school gate.

Mo Yu got out of the car to open the door for Elise, and together with the maid, watched her walk into the school.

But the Spirit Rabbit nestled in Elise's arms suddenly turned its head, its deep red pupils meeting Mo Yu's gaze. The beautiful girl gave a sweet smile before looking away.

Mo Yu raised an eyebrow.

He made a mental note to ask Alpha later about this Monster's origin and what Special Ability it had.

He decided not to rewind this time.

He climbed into the car, lay down, and let himself fall asleep, recovering from his fatigue.

The maid continued to ignore Mo Yu, driving toward the supermarket.

Meanwhile, back at the manor.

Alpha was about to face a trial.
