How to convince his parents about Alpha became a headache for Rex.
Although Alpha was confident, Rex knew his father very well.
It won’t be easy to convince him.
Rex looked at the little black puppy sitting beside him.
Alpha noticed his gaze and wagged his tail innocently.
He sighed.
The problem was not Alpha.
The problem was his father.
Just then Sandy walked over.
He had apparently heard part of the conversation and came over with a curious expression.
Alpha seemed to sense that Sandy had a good relation with Rex, almost like a brotherly bond so he did not release his aura.
Even so, his golden eyes carefully observed Sandy.
Sandy’s eyes lit up as he looked at Alpha and said, “Where did get this cutie from?” As he said this he reached out his hands to touch the puppy.
But Alpha dodged his hands swiftly and hid behind Rex.
The puppy peeked out from behind Rex and looked at Sandy as if he was a suspicious person Nearby Saffa was almost screaming in his heart as he looked at his actions.
Touch the supreme divine beast?
Was he serious?
That’s a supreme beast and he was treating it an ordinary pet.
Saffa secretly admired Sandy’s courage or ignorance…….probably ignorance.
“Quit it and help me think of a way to convince my father to let me keep it at home.” Rex said with a slight displeased tone.
“OK OK, I get it.
No need to glare at me.” Sandy raised his hands and said with a smirk.
He looked at Alpha, who was still hiding behind Rex.
Then he smiled, “If you ask me you don’t need to convince your father.” “Why is that?
Don’t tell me you want me to keep it regardless of my father’s consent.” Rex frowned.
“Not that, you idiot” Sandy laughed, “Your grandma.
Ask your grandma for help, with how much she adores you she ‘ll definitely talk to your father.” Rex’s eyes widened.
Only then did Rex realize that his father always listened to his maternal grandma.
And even if he didn’t like anything as long as his grandma asked he would do it.
For a moment he stared blankly at Sandy.
Then realization struck him, “That’s right” He slapped his forehead, “How did I not think of this?” Sandy grinned smugly, “That’s because your genius friend is here to save the day.
Rex rolled his eyes at him, then shook his head and smiled, “Thanks, you saved a lot of trouble for me” “That’s what I am here for” Sandy shrugged his shoulders, “You should call her now.” “You’re right” He hurriedly took out his phone and called his grandma.
The call was connected soon, only after two rings and his grandma’s voice came through, “Hello pumpkin.
How did you remember this old woman today?” “Come on grandma, my darling is not that old.” Rex said with a laugh.
“OK give up the flattery and say what problem did you get into that needs me to talk to your father?” his grandma said with a chuckle.
She had already guessed his reason for the call.
“You really know me well grandma.” Rex feigned a cough.
While sandy nearly burst into laughter nearby.
Saffa was amused as well.
“Actually I’m not in any kind of trouble.
I want to keep a dog as my pet but you know how much dad hates pets in the house, so can you convince him to let me keep the dog.” Rex said with an almost pleading tone.
His grandmother snorted.
“That stubborn son-in-law of mine.
Don’t worry, Of course, I will talk to him sweetie.
Why are you even asking?” Rex’s face brightened.
“Really?” “In fact I will talk to him now and yes I will say that I was the one that sent the dog to you so that your father won’t be displeased about the dog.” “You send the dog to me for the today; I will ask your second uncle to bring him to you tomorrow in front of your father.” His grandmother had solved every problem in a matter of seconds.
Not only would she convince his father, but she had also created a believable story for how Alpha arrived.
“Love you grandma.
Thanks a lot.” Rex almost jumped in gleefully, “I knew you would help” “OK I will call your father now and you send the dog with someone.
Also I heard that your vacations will be starting soon come and visit here your eldest uncle’s son always talks about you.” She said in a soft tone.
Rex smiled at her words.
His eldest uncle’s son was his cousin Aryan.
They had been very close since childhood.
“Sure grandma.
I will be visit for sure.” “Good.
I’ll be waiting.” The call ended after a few pleasant words.
Rex lowered the phone and let out a long sigh of relief.
The biggest problem had been resolved.
Sandy smirked.
“What did I tell you?
Problem resolved, right?” Rex smiled.
“OK OK, You were right.” Rex crouched down and patted Alpha’s head.
“You’ll have to spend tonight at my grandmother’s house.” Alpha blinked.
“Will there be food?
Will there be people to admire me?” Rex almost laughed.
“Yes.
There will be food and many people to love and admire you.” “Then I have no objections.” Rex shook his head.
“But behave yourself.
You can’t scare anyone over there.
My cousins are also there.” Alpha immediately straightened his posture, “I would never do such a thing.” Rex narrowed his eyes at him, “Really?” Alpha looked away, his voice almost like a whisper, “Unless they offend master.” Rex squatted down and flicked his forehead lightly.
“No threatening anyone, no matter what.
Just endure it for the night.” Alpha whimpered pitifully, like a wronged bride, “Understood, I will be obedient.” After that Rex looked at and Saffa.
“Saffa, you take Alpha and go to my grandma’s house.
Go to Jonathan, he will take you to my grandma’s place” Jonathan was one of the most reliable men under Rex’s command.
He knew every single person related to Rex like the back of his hand.
Saffa nodded, “It will be done.
You can be rest assured” Rex looked at Alpha one more time, “And you……..
better behave yourself, don’t go scaring others.
Otherwise you won’t have a good time.” Rex’s words seemed to have astonishing effect on Alpha.
He immediately became a docile puppy.
He looked exactly like an innocent puppy trying to prove he was harmless.
“Master can rest assured.
I will be the best-behaved puppy in existence.” Seeing this Saffa was a bit assured.
Nearby, Sandy snorted.
“Why does it feel like he actually understands you?” Rex’s heart skipped a beat, but his expression remained calm, “He’s just smart.
” Sandy nodded in acknowledgement, “Too smart for a dog.” Saffa stepped forward and carefully picked Alpha up.
Even though Alpha had suppressed his aura, Saffa still felt nervous holding a creature capable of destroying worlds.
Just a single effortless breath from this being was enough to destroy an entire continent.
Alpha glanced at him as if looking at a low life, “Carry me carefully.” The voice echoed directly in Saffa’s mind, who nearly stumbled upon hearing the voice, “Yes, Lord Alpha.
I will be careful.” Alpha snorted proudly and curled up in his arms like an ordinary puppy.
Rex watched the scene with amusement.
“OK, Go now.” Saffa bowed once more before walking toward the front of the house.
Alpha lifted one paw and waved at Rex, “See you tomorrow, master.” Rex waved back with a smile, “See you tomorrow.” Sandy stared at him, as if he was looking at this friend for the first time.
Rex quickly coughed.
“I think he was stretching.” “Right, even an idiot wouldn’t believe it.” Sandy clearly did not believe him, but he wisely chose not to ask further.
The two watched as Saffa disappeared from sight with Alpha in his arms.
Only after they were gone did Rex fully relax.
For the first time since summoning Alpha, he felt that the matter was finally under control.
His grandma would arrange everything tomorrow and his father can’t object.
Alpha would officially become a part of the family.
Sandy nudged him with his elbow.
“I didn’t ask you before.
Where exactly did you find that dog?
Local dogs are not that good.
” Rex smiled mysteriously.
“You wouldn’t believe me even if I told you.” Sandy laughed.
“Fair enough, you talk in riddles anyway.” Rex looked toward the gate through which Saffa had just left.
A small smile appeared on his face.
Alpha was more than a divine beast; he was loyal, intelligent, powerful, and unexpectedly adorable.
Rex could already imagine the chaos that would follow once Alpha settled into the house.
His mother would spoil him endlessly.
His grandmother would feed him too many treats and his father… Rex smiled.
With grandma handling the matter, even if he were dissatisfied he would have to endure.
But he believed eventually he would also come to like pets.
