After returning from sandbox, Rex sat down once again under the mango tree.
The morning breeze carried a faint refreshing feeling.
The sealed two-meter area around it shimmered faintly as spiritual energy slowly gathered inside.
Alpha lay on the grass beside him, looking like an ordinary black puppy basking lazily in the sun.
Anyone who saw him would only think he was a cute pet rather than a terrifying divine beast capable of devouring worlds.
Rex leaned back in his chair and said in his mind, “Alice, activate time acceleration” [DING, 500 POINTS DEDUCTED] [TIME ACCELERATION ACTIVATED] At once, the world inside the sandbox began moving rapidly like a fast-forwarded movie.
Days turned into years in the blink of an eye.
With the increase in lifespan verified, the people in the sandbox increased their priority in martial arts training.
Training sounds became a normal event, a part of daily life in every part of the empire.
Children practiced body training from a very young age.
In many noble families, they even learned body training before learning to read and write.
Adults trained their bodies soon after completing their work.
The Martial Academies founded by Amal became the main places where martial artists were groomed and nurtured.
Those who displayed talent became the focus of the empire’s support.
The results spoke for efforts.
The overall strength of humans rose steadily.
The average strength of the people continuously rose.
Those who reached the human limit slowly became common.
Although breaking through to the First Stage of Potential was still extremely difficult, the existence of Amal and two other pioneers inspired countless cultivators to persevere.
Amal governed the nation but never neglected his own training.
Even after becoming emperor, his routine never changed.
He handled the state affairs, instructed the disciples of the academy and cultivated late into the night.
His dedication for the empire was almost comparable to his father.
Years passed.
At the age of 92, he reached the pinnacle of 1st stage potential.
His aura profound and steady, strong enough to suppress others from acting out of their own selfishness.
His strength had now reached the same level as Saffa when he was first summoned.
However, he did not get arrogant; instead, he started to focus on his breakthrough.
Outside the sandbox, Rex nodded slightly.
Without direct guidance for higher realms, he had managed to reach the peak of his current stage entirely through his own efforts.
However, breaking through, how can it be easy.
Rex remembered the novel from his previous life.
In that novel, it took Saffa took nearly 50 years to break through to the next level.
Although he didn’t know what the next realm was or what the stat looked like.
However, Amal had only a few more years.
Can he really enter the next stage?
That was hard to guess.
Nevertheless, the probability was much lower.
Unlike Aren the first king, Amal didn’t get blinded due to stagnation of his realm.
He ruled with clarity and great wisdom.
Under his reign, the Archilies Empire reached heights that Archon himself could only have dreamed of.
Libraries were established to preserved knowledge.
He made it sure that every citizen of his empire had the ability to read and write.
The people lived a long and prosperous life.
During his reign, he fathered two children.
Both possessed excellent talent by ordinary standards.
However, Rex felt none of them worthy enough to be the next king.
One was overly ambitious while the other lacked decisiveness.
Neither of them possessed Amal’s balance of talent, character and vision.
Rex didn’t do anything and simply continued watching.
At the age of 126 Sufia, the Pearl of Archilies, left the world quietly.
Her passing shook the entire empire.
Graceful, compassionate and dignified, she stood beside Amal through decades of prosperity.
At her bedside, she held the eternal flower Rex had given her on her wedding day.
Even after nearly a century, the flower remained as fresh and radiant as the day it descended from the heavens.
After her death, Amal sat silently beside her for an entire day.
He said nothing and simply held her hand.
When he finally emerged, his hair seemed to have become slightly whiter.
Soon afterward, a decree was issued across the empire.
“The eternal flower was a gift personally bestowed by the creator.
It shall be enshrined in the creator’s temple as a national treasure.
Only the creator shall decide who will be worthy to wear the flower until then it shall remain in the temple under it’s protection.” The announcement spread rapidly.
Believers flocked the temple to glimpse at the flower.
Since the moment of the descent, it had remained within the castle and other than a few castle maids no one has ever seen the flower after that.
When the Eternal Flower was placed within a crystal altar inside the Creator’s Temple, countless worshippers knelt in reverence.
For them, it was tangible proof of the Creator’s love.
An unexpected phenomenon took place inside the temple.
Young women from every corner of the empire came flocking to see if the creator deemed them worthy of the eternal flower.
They dressed elegantly, fasted, prayed for days and even offered dances and songs.
Rumors spread that the Creator might choose another blessed woman.
However, Rex remained un-responsive.
Alpha tilted his head.
“Master, should you choose someone?” Rex just shook his head, “They are not worthy.” Women continued to visit the temple every year in hope of being chosen.
But the flower remained unmoved.
People slowly understood that Sufia’s blessing was unique.
The understanding increased the popularity of the legend.
Outside the Sandbox Rex began to think.
He thought that he should make a journal that will keep the records of the first sandbox.
He brought a diary, a black mysterious looking diary.
He sat down and wrote on the first page.
“I opened my eyes only to Chaos everywhere.
I floated in the Chaos with no direction.
In order feel the land I gathered the Chaos current and materialized the land.
With the loneliness I started creating for my amusement.
Then came a question.
What is my name?
And who am I supposed to be?
Why bother let my creations name me as they please.” A faint smile appeared on his face.
Rex wrote his feelings when he first entered the Sandbox when it was a dead land without thinking of anything else.
At the side Alpha looked with curious eyes.
When he saw what Rex wrote.
He was so terrified that he almost fainted.
He thought inwardly, “What is master writing?
Why is master writing this?
Those words…is this the master’s origin?” “These are supreme secrets.
No I can’t look.” Although he said that he still peeked through his little paws.
Rex saw his actions but did not say anything.
He kept writing, the first appearance of humanity through the destruction of dominant species.
From Aren’s challenge and atrocity to Archon’s courage to the following Great Flood.
Upto the golden age of Archilies.
He wrote each event as what happened briefly.
Hours passed unnoticed.
The black diary gradually filled with words, each page contained one event.
Rex closed the book and exhaled slowly, he held the black diary in his hands.
It was just an ordinary notebook, yet the words within recorded the true origin and events of an entire world.
After writing everything, he thought about what to name this.
After thinking for a long time he asked Alpha.
“What do you think I should name this Alpha?” Alpha was stunned but then overjoyed.
His golden eyes widened.
Even in his wildest dreams he never thought his master would give him the honor of naming his master’s origin and creation book.
He sat upright, trying to appear dignified despite his puppy form.
He hurriedly replied, “Master if you ask me then this book should be called ‘Chaos Genesis’.” Rex smiled.
“Good name.
Then so be it.” On the cover, in bold letters, he wrote two words.
Chaos Genesis
