Looking at the setting sun, he let out a long breath and got up as he asked Alice to change the time flow of the sandbox to match reality.

The entire day had been unexpectedly productive.

Holding the black diary in his hand, Rex felt a sense of satisfaction.Full novel: Reality Reset: The Sandbox Sovereign — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He kept the diary near the Chaos Spiritual Tree.

Within the barrier, the diary won’t be damaged in the slightest.

Rex felt his body becoming lazy, as he stretched his arms and yawned.

As he entered his room, his phone rang.

It was a call from Victor.

Victor rarely called unless something important had happened.

“What’s the matter?” Rex asked as soon as the call was connected.

On the other side, Victor’s respectful voice came through, “Young master we discovered that your uncle’s accomplices from the neighboring colony have begun to move.

They plan to sneak into your house tonight and place 500,000 dollars in cash.

Their intention is clearly meant to frame your father.” Hearing this Rex’s eyes narrowed as his expression becoming cold.

In his last life, they also did the same thing.

In their village where even 50,000 dollars was a huge amount to the majority, the amount of 500,000 was more than enough to garner attention from the entire village and even the neighboring villages.

He remembered the night very clearly.

His family was completely unprepared.

The framing incident was also the beginning of their true suffering.

His father was an honest man but overnight, he was turned into a subject of rumors and public criticism.

Relatives pretended to be concerned while secretly enjoying the spectacle.

Especially his uncle, he looked like watching a drama.

However, this time won’t be the same.

He had loyal subordinates.

A divine beast and enough strength to ensure that history would not repeat itself.

Victor spoke again, “Young master I will send a few men to help you deal with the people” His words interrupted Rex’s wandering thoughts.

“No need, Alpha is here.

He can and is more than enough to manage it.” Rex said without care.

“Young master although you have a watch dog it is still a puppy after all.

It would be better to be safe than sorry” Victor said with genuine concern.

As he did not know of Alpha’s identity, he thought of him as a normal puppy his master had picked up for amusement.

However, Alpha heard everything and immediately flared up, his fur stood on end, eyes widened in disbelief.

The rage in his voice was clearly noticeable, “Master, how dare that bastard compare me to those lowly watchdogs.

I am a supreme divine beast, The Heaven Devouring Hound.” “Even immortals tremble at my true form!

How dare he humiliate me like this.

Let me go and I promise to make him suffer a fate worse than death.” Alpha was practically shaking with rage.

If not for Rex’s presence, he might have transformed on the spot.

Alpha only said that to Rex using telepathy.

He was fuming with anger when compared to mortal watchdogs.

However, Rex’s glare shut him up and he dare to make a ruckus.

His ears drooped as he lowered his head and sat obediently like a wronged bride.

“I know what you’re worried about but rest assured I have everything under control.” Rex said while glaring at Alpha.

“Ok young master if you say so.

Still inform me if needed.

I will arrive without delay.” Victor said before he hung up.

Victor was still somewhat uncertain, but he trusted Rex completely.

Still decided to stay near the house personally, to secretly monitor in case matters went out if hand.

Rex looked at the aggrieved Alpha.

He was clearly offended.

Rex almost laughed, “You’re still thinking about what Victor said?” Alpha said in a complaining tone, “Master, I am a supreme divine beast.

In all the heavens and worlds, countless beings would kneel in terror before me and yet that mortal called me a watchdog.” His voice was full of indignation.

Rex rubbed his forehead and said in a joking manner, “Well, to be fair, you do look like a puppy.

And that’s a good thing.” Alpha was struck by Rex’s words.

He looked at his tiny black paws and his tiny body in confusion.

The he looked at Rex and said with an aggrieved expression, “Master, appearances can be deceiving, you know.” Rex chucked at his words.

He was clearly trying to justify his appearance and Rex decided to indulge him a bit to preserve his dignity, “Indeed, looks can be deceiving.” Rex’s tone became serious “You heard what victor said right?” Alpha immediately straightened up.

He nodded his head in response, “Master, allow me to demonstrate my worth tonight.

I promise to take care of it cleanly.” Rex nodded, “There will be people sneaking in tonight.

You can deal with them.

You heard what victor said so you know their purpose.

They plan to frame my father.

Deal with them as you see fit.” Alpha was overjoyed at the responsibility given by Rex.

His grievance vanished into thin air in an instant.

He eyes shone like stars and tail wagging excitedly.

This is the first real task his master had assigned to him since his arrival.

To him, it was an honor beyond anything to compare.

Worthy to brag about in the future.

He abruptly jumped down from the bed.

He stood on his hind legs placed one of his front paws on his chest and raised another like making a vow, “Don’t worry master.

With me here not even a fly can enter the premises.” Alpha said with total seriousness.

If anyone else saw the scene, they would only see a tiny black puppy making dramatic gestures.

The contrast was so absurd that Rex burst into laughter.

The more he tried to control his laughter, the more he laughed.

Looking at his puppy form and his serious face Rex could not help but laugh at this comical scene, “Sure, just don’t disturb me or my parents.” Alpha nodded vigorously, “Rest assured, Master.

The intruders will regret setting foot here.” “I know, I can trust you on this.”Rex said while still laughing.

Rex leaned back against the bed.

With Alpha here, he was not worried about those sneaking in.

Even the slightest bit concern couldn’t be seen on his face.

Alpha turned around and trotted towards the door.

Before leaving the door he looked back, “Master, after tonight no one will target this family in the future.” Rex nodded at his words, “I know.

All thanks to you.” Although Rex said that he knew the human greed and jealousy will never make them stop form acting against his family.

There will be many scenes following one after another.

Alpha was delighted to hear such a response.

He left the room with a proud and delighted look on his puppy face.

Those people who were planning to make a move in the night will never expect that a supreme divine beast that even the heaven fears is waiting for them quietly in this silent night.

Outside, under the silver moonlight, two golden eyes looked at the silent night waiting with anticipation.

Alpha had begun his first true mission.
