Kata grabbed the axe blade in his hands and began releasing heat.

From the first moment he had been handed one of these axes, he had realized that the metal used to make them was far from normal.

He wanted this metal for his gun.Full novel: Rebirth of the Boundless Tyrant — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He hoped that it would be able to handle the power he wanted to channel through the weapon.

After heating the axe for over ten minutes, Kata was flabbergasted when the metal remained as cold as it had ever been.

His mind was filled with countless thoughts and he continued heating the metal.

He increased the power he released through his hands, and only after another thirty minutes did the metal become red hot and start melting in his hands.

He took away a large chunk of the metal before he remolded the little that was left into an axe shape.

The axe was now three times smaller than normal, but Kata believed that he would get away with this deception.

After all, who would believe that he had melted the thing and stolen most of its mass.

When the time came to leave the mine, Kata handed in his axe and the slaver in charge was a little suspicious, but that was all.

Kata smiled widely the entire way back to camp.

He ate with his mother before he left for the forest as usual.

Kata removed the rag that covered his body and peeled the metal off from his skin.

He had allowed it to cool while attached to him in a thin layer.

He now reheated it and collected it into a large chunk ready for use.

With the experience he had in creating the prototype, Kata found it easy to create his final gun.

He then went ahead and created the bullets using the same metal.

He managed to create only 30 bullets before he ran out of metal.

Kata wanted to create something even more powerful, but he did not have the necessary materials.

He lifted the gun and smiled as he tried it out.

Kata left the cave, making sure to hide the entrance before he made his way to the cockroach swamp.

Kata could manipulate energy, but he now had to generate only the electricity and nothing else.

This was a very difficult endeavor and it would have been time-consuming if Kata did not have the god spark.

He had an intuitive feeling when it came to energy and after a few attempts, he generated a few strands of lightning in his palm.

It took him another hour to learn how to manipulate the lightning and shape it according to his will.

He created a tiny bunny made from lightning and made it run across his palm for a few minutes before he was satisfied.

He was finally ready to test his gun.

When he saw a radioactive cockroach, he raised his gun and aimed.

He channeled a massive amount of lightning through the gun and pulled the trigger.

Boooom!

The bullet came out of the barrel, shattering the sound barrier.

The cockroach did not have even a moment to realize what was happening before the bullet struck its head.

The cockroach had its head blown to pieces with radioactive juices splashing everywhere.

The bullet continued and entered the earth, creating a seemingly bottomless pit.

“Now this is power.

It is still far less powerful than the weapons I had access to in my past life, at the peak of human greatness, but it will have to do for now.

In this world where some people seem to be using swords, this gun will allow me to dominate,” Kata said.

This time, Kata had not come to deal with just this one cockroach.

He wanted to gain as much power as he could and eating these cockroaches was a good source of energy.

He stood there and waited for another cockroach to show up, having been lured by the powerful shooting sound.

After a few minutes, another radioactive cockroach showed up as he had hoped and he killed that as well.

He used all the bullets he had created and only then did he leave.

He tied all the cockroaches together using a green vein.

He dragged them back to his cave where he made a fire, roasted the bastards, and began eating them one at a time.

As he feasted on the tender glowing meat, he felt power fill his body.

The radiation filled every corner of his being.

This time around, he handled the radiation much better.

Kata ate in silence and soon, all the cockroaches were gone.

He had grown twice as powerful as he had been and when he tried to make his hands release the energy, they glowed brighter and the heat they gave off was far more than before.

“It is time I paid the leader of the slave camp a visit.

She must know how the humans managed to become so powerful.”

Before leaving the forest, Kata returned to camp but he did not immediately go to the camp leader.

He had run out of bullets and he was not willing to face this woman while being so weak.

With his gun and bullets, Kata was sure that he would feel safer.

He spent the next few days going through life as though everything was normal, but in truth, he was gathering power.

He stole more of the strange metal from the axes in the mine and used them to create hundreds of bullets.

He hunted radioactive cockroaches and feasted on their meat to increase his power.

As he took in more of the radiation, his body was further refined and his physical strength grew.

The amount of energy he could generate increased and his ambitions boiled over as he created one plan after another.

When the slaves came back from the mines this time around, Kata was ready to meet the leader of the enslaved wena.

With his gun loaded with his modified magazine that held 160 bullets, Kata moved through the camp, headed for the most luxurious tent.
