Especially the ports. There was nowhere with more goods than the ports.

In her previous life, when she had been trapped there, she had heard that these places stored enormous quantities of supplies. At the time, she and Liu Danya had originally planned to go there with some others to search for supplies.

But halfway there, they encountered sharks that had come looking for food, and Liu Danya pushed her into the water, turning her into the sharks’ lunch.Full novel: Reborn Before the Apocalypse: I Killed My Best Friend First — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Now that she had a space, rather than letting all those precious supplies be swallowed by the seawater a few months later, she might as well take them for herself!

There were too many people around during the day, so she planned to go there at night.

With nothing else to do, she took out her phone and began searching online for an apocalypse supply checklist.

The light from the phone screen reflected the coldness in Tong Qingyan’s eyes as her fingers flew across the screen, continuously adding things to her apocalypse checklist.

From basic supplies such as rice, flour, cooking oil, compressed biscuits, and canned food, to essential survival items such as gasoline and lighters, even seemingly insignificant things like needles and thread, gauze, and povidone iodine were all carefully added to the list.

Naturally, the more she had, the better. The only problem was that she did not have enough money.

Forget it. She would make do with this for now.

If everything went smoothly tonight, she might not have to worry about lacking anything at all.

An entire morning had already passed, yet the hot water inside the space was still steaming. It seemed that the space really did have a preservation function.

Since the space could preserve things, she could stock up on all kinds of cooked food, fruits, and vegetables.

It was incredibly convenient!

She had also discovered something even more interesting.

The food she had collected from the hotel restaurant that morning had all been on plates. After being placed inside the space, the food had automatically been sorted and placed in one corner.

Moreover, each plate of food had not been stacked together with the plates above it. Instead, they were all suspended in midair.

This was truly incredibly intelligent. It saved space and also saved her the trouble of buying shelves.

Just as she was feeling delighted, she was suddenly kicked out of the space. No matter how hard she tried afterward, she could not get back inside.

This frightened Tong Qingyan badly!

Where was her space?

How could such a huge space simply disappear just like that?

No, that was not right. She could still sense that the space was there. She simply could not enter it anymore.

To test whether the space was really still there, Tong Qingyan repeatedly stored everything in the room inside the space and took it back out several times.

After all that trouble, she finally confirmed that her space had not disappeared.

But why could she not enter it?

She carefully explored the entire space with her consciousness once again and finally discovered a time display floating in midair inside the space.

The number on it had already reached zero. It seemed that the space had a time limit and could not be entered and exited whenever she wanted.

She carefully thought about how long she had been inside the space today.

Adding up all her visits, it had only been about ten minutes.

Good heavens!

That was far too short!

She did not even know whether ten minutes was the total amount of time available or whether it would reset every day.

Hopefully, she will get ten minutes every day.

At least that would give her some time to protect her life.

Before long, Tong Qingyan stopped dwelling on the matter. Being given another chance at life and obtaining the legendary space already made her luckier than 99.9999 percent of the people in the world.

At noon, she had another hearty meal in the hotel restaurant and took the opportunity to stock up on quite a lot of food in her space. The amount she was capable of eating completely stunned the restaurant’s chefs and waiters.

They simply could not believe that such a petite and delicate looking Eastern woman could eat one table of food after another.

In the afternoon, she packed up everything belonging to herself and Liu Danya and stored it in the space before checking out of the hotel.

There were usually many travelers coming and going through the hotel, so Tong Qingyan’s checkout did not attract the slightest attention.

After leaving the hotel, she got into a taxi and headed straight for the shopping mall.

She spent the entire afternoon exploring several streets, memorizing exactly where the shops were, where the security cameras were, and where the exits were. She also bought a baseball bat and stored it in her space for emergencies.

Before dark, she hid inside a restroom in the largest shopping mall and changed her appearance.

She dressed entirely in black, wore a black hat and a black face covering.

With this appearance, even her own mother would probably fail to recognize her if she were standing right in front of her.

Waiting was always unbearably long. Several people came knocking on the restroom door during that time, frightening the already nervous Tong Qingyan terribly.

After finally waiting until the shopping mall closed, she came out of the restroom.

She took out the baseball bat she had bought that afternoon and smashed every security camera along her path.

She then began rapidly collecting the supplies inside the shopping mall.

Starting from the supermarket on the second basement level, all she had to do was place her hand on a shelf, and the entire shelf would be collected into her space.

Entire rows of rice and flour disappeared into the space instantly, as though she were performing a magic trick.

The only problem was that Japan was truly stingy. Even the food packaging was so small that it felt like there was barely anything there even after she collected everything.

Forget it. Since it was free, she would not complain.

There were still quite a lot of rice balls, ready made meals, noodles, and similar foods.

Later, when everyone had nothing to eat, these would be perfect for her to secretly take out and eat.

As expected of an island country, there was a truly astonishing amount of seafood.

Who knew whether she would even have food to eat in the future, so she did not care whether there was radiation or not. She would collect everything first!

The most important thing was to fill her stomach and survive.

There was all kinds of seafood, including tuna, salmon, trout, sea urchins, lobsters, crabs, sea cucumbers, and countless others.

The live seafood was collected together with the large fish tanks, while the chilled and frozen seafood was collected together with the freezers.

There was also fresh beef, pork, and chicken, although there was not much of it.

The fruits and vegetables were all packaged in small quantities, and there was pitifully little of them.

This tiny country really did have very little food!

She would make do with it. At least it was better than having nothing.

However, there were truly a huge number of snacks. Bread, milk, yogurt, chocolate, biscuits, potato chips, candy, and more filled the shelves.

Most of the brands were also available in China, while only a small number were unfamiliar to her.

There were also some potato chips and drinks in flavors she had never seen before. She gladly collected every one of them.

When she had time later, she could take them out and try them one by one.

She collected all kinds of seasonings as well. Many of them were unfamiliar to her, and she did not even know how to use them.

Who cared? She could download some cooking videos later and slowly learn!

There were quite a lot of varieties of ice cream here, and it felt like there was enough to last her for many years.

She collected every bottle of water without leaving a single one behind.

After the torrential rain arrived, the city would gradually be submerged, while the sea level would continue rising. Fresh water would become increasingly scarce and would simply not be enough for people to drink.

Although she had spiritual spring water in her space, who would ever complain about having too much water?

With all this bottled water, she would feel even more confident about surviving.

She also collected all the household cleaning and personal care products, without leaving behind a single hygiene product.

These were all nonrenewable resources. Once they were soaked by water, they would gradually rot and become completely unusable.

There were also quite a lot of small household appliances on the first basement level. Since her space was infinitely high anyway, she simply stacked all the rice cookers, ovens, microwave ovens, blenders, electric kettles, robot vacuum cleaners, and other appliances together.
