All of them finally returned to the sect.
Chen Feng was taken back to his hut to rest while Chen Ling and Qin Su stayed beside him to take care of him.
Meanwhile, Master Bai Ruyu and Senior Sister Meilin returned to the main hall of the sect to report the entire incident.
Chen Ling and Qin Su took too much care of Chen Feng, making even him feel worried from all the attention.
Fortunately, because of Chen Feng’s body cultivation, his recovery speed was far faster than normal cultivators.
In just two weeks, Chen Feng’s wounds and cracked bones completely healed.
During the time Chen Feng was recovering, the remaining demonic cultivators were also captured by the sect and the royal guards.
Peace once again returned to the sect.
“Ahhh!”
Chen Ling suddenly screamed.
“Qin Su!
Why are you sleeping in the same bed as Chen Feng?”
Chen Ling glared at her angrily.
“Qin Su, I already told you to stay away from Chen Feng.
We are cultivators and girls.
We should keep a proper distance from boys.”
Qin Su crossed her arms.
“We are fiancés.
Sleeping on the same bed is normal.”
“You are coming with me,” Chen Ling said while pulling Qin Su’s hand.
“You will stay in my hut.”
Qin Su looked at Chen Ling with annoyed eyes.
“I will stay with my future husband.
I’m not going with you.”
Chen Feng quickly interrupted them.
“You two, please stop arguing and let me rest.”
Then he looked toward Qin Su.
“Qin Su, what Chen Ling said is right.”
“A boy and a girl shouldn’t stay in the same house before marriage.”
“There could be bad rumors about us.
They may not affect me, but they will affect you.”
Qin Su lowered her head slightly.
“Okay…”
Chen Ling proudly took Qin Su away to her hut.
Chen Feng was finally left alone.
He then took out the damaged cauldron he had purchased from the Treasure Pavilion.
Chen Feng carefully inspected it.
“This looks like an ordinary cauldron.
There doesn’t seem to be anything special about it.”
While observing the cauldron—
Cut!
A sharp edge suddenly sliced Chen Feng’s finger.
Blood dripped onto the cauldron.
Buzz!
A white light instantly spread throughout the hut.

The loud sound woke both Chen Ling and Qin Su.
They quickly got up and carried Chen Feng onto the bed.
Their clothes were slightly messy from sleeping.
Chen Feng slowly opened his eyes.
The moment he saw the scene around him—

Blood once again flowed from his nose.
This time, Chen Feng quickly grabbed a handkerchief and stopped the bleeding.
“I came here to take you both to Master’s house,” Chen Feng said awkwardly.
“Master asked us to gather there.”
Soon, Chen Feng, Chen Ling, and Qin Su arrived at Master Bai Ruyu’s residence.
Senior brothers and senior sisters were already present there.
They greeted the master and sat beside the breakfast table.
Bai Ruyu looked at Chen Feng’s hand and sighed in relief.
“Your injuries have recovered very well.”
Then Bai Ruyu took out two jade pendants and handed them to Chen Feng and Chen Ling.
“This is a Communication Jade.
With it, you can communicate with each other and also send signals for help.”
Chen Feng and Chen Ling immediately thanked their master.
After breakfast, Chen Ling asked,
“Where are you going now, Chen Feng?”
Qin Su also curiously looked toward him.
“I’m planning to visit the sect library,” Chen Feng replied.
“I want to look for information about arrays and some other things.”
Chen Ling smiled.
“Then I’ll come too.
I also want to look for a martial art technique.”
Soon, Chen Feng, Chen Ling, and Qin Su began walking toward the sect library.
