“Mireille beauty Ad?”

[Yes, Host!

The audition process is still ongoing.

Even though strings might be pulled behind the scenes for your sister, you just need to outshine everyone so they pick you instead]

I was just about to reply the system when a sudden knock came at my door.

I hurried over and swung it over, only to freeze.

A man I had never seen before was standing here.I blinked at him a few times, confused.

“Uhhh…who?”

The man offered me a polite smile.

“Good afternoon, Young Madam,” he said softly.

“I’m Thomas Miller, the butler of this house.

Young Master asked me to deliver these to you.”

I looked down and gasped softly.

In the butler’s hand was a sleek laptop and a brand new phone both still in their case.

Wait a second…

Hadn’t I just said I wanted to borrow his old laptop?!

”I…

I think there’s a misunderstanding,” I stammered, looking up at Thomas.

“I only asked to borrow an old laptop.

Not a brand-new phone.”

Thomas just smiled at my comment.

“I’m only following the Young master’s orders,” he explained.

“I’ve already set up the laptop and phone, so you can use them right away, Young Madam.”

He held the paper bag towards me, leaving me with no choice but to take it.

My fingers curled the hand of the bag as I took it from him.

“Thank you.”

“Your welcome, Young Madam,” Thomas said with a slight bow.”I also saved my number in your phone so you can call me anytime you need something.” Read this novel at novelping.com for the best experience.

“Oh,” I blinked, clutching the bag to my chest.

“Did you…

put Damien’s number in there too?”

“Yes,” Thomas answered instantly.

“Young master, actually said you may call him if you need anything.”

I blinked severally, a bit surprised Damien had given me his number without me even asking.

“…I see.”

I looked down at the bag and then back at Thomas.

“Well thank you once again Mr.

Miller.”

Thomas smiled gently.

“Please just call me Thomas.”

“Alright,” I smiled sweetly back at him.

“Thank you, Thomas.”

As soon as the door clicked shut, I dashed back to the king-sized bed, dumping the contents of the bag onto the silk duvet.

I unboxed the laptop first.

The clean metallic finish and top-tier specs made my eyes widen, it was a Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 3.

Back in my past life, my tech obsession and gaming habits had landed me numerous brand deals with major hardware companies, so I recognized high-end gear the second I saw it.

Powering up the phone, I opened the contact list, tapped Damien’s name, and brought the device to my ear and to my surprise he picked up on the first ring.

“Hey Damien, I think there’s been a mistake,” I blurted out.

“I only asked for a laptop, to be specific an old laptop and not a phone.”

Damien was silent for a second before replying.

“I don’t keep old laptops lying around,” He continued, “Do you not like them?”

“Like them?

I love them.

Hell who wouldn’t love this kind of gift.

How should I put it?

It just felt…

kind of sudden?”

“Today’s your wedding day,” Damien said casually as if it wasn’t his wedding day too.

“Just think of it as a wedding present.” This chapter was copied from g.com without permission.

A wedding gift?

Panic flared in my chest.

If he gave me a gift, didn’t that mean I owed him one in return?

But I was completely broke, and handing a billionaire something cheap would look ridiculous.

”Damien, wait, what do you—”

”I have an important board meeting starting now,” he interrupted.

“We can talk later.”

The call ended before I could even finish my sentence.

I pulled the phone away and stared at the dark screen, letting out a frustrated groan.

“System,” I whispered, “do you have any idea what men like?

I never actually dated anyone in my past life.”

[Unfortunately, I have never had a boyfriend as well, Host]

I let out a loud groan, throwing my hands in the air.

“Forget it!

He’s worth billions anyway, he can buy whatever he wants.”

Sitting up, I pulled the laptop onto my lap and typed ‘Mireille Beauty’ into the search bar.

Articles and promotional pages flooded the screen.

They were a rising mid-range cosmetic brand that had exploded in popularity over the last two years.

Their current campaign was a search for a new model to lead their upcoming lip line.

They were specifically requesting a fresh, face that younger audiences could easily relate to.

That was basically a perfect fit for my current face!

Eliana was young, and her facial features were even softer and fresher than her real age.

I skimmed through the basic requirements and all they wanted was a bare-faced photo sent to their inbox and then all I had to do was wait for a reply.

I paused, my thumb hovering over the touchpad.

I wanted to send it right away, but my face was still covered in small faint scars from the accident.

[Why don’t you take a look at your face now, Host.]

I knitted my brows together and said nothing, instead I slid off the mattress and walked over to the wide vanity mirror across the room.

I leaned closer to the glass my jaw dropping wide.

“Holy Fucking Shit!”

The scars had faded completely!
