On the way, Karna told her about the village women, and Hidimbi showed great dissatisfaction, especially when he said they were all married, but not to him.
To Karna, it seemed her dissatisfaction wasn’t toward him. It was toward his girls, whom she hadn’t even met.
Karna shrugged it off. He had no idea what was going on in her mind.
After walking around two kilometers. Karna and Hidimbi reached the place where the show was going.
"Husband, was it really alright?"
’’No one here could kill us. We were practically immortals and didn’t even feel pain. So now you tell me what worse could even happen?’’ Karna asked.
’’They could still imprison us, separately!’’
’’We could simply teleport, I mean disappear from the place with your maya.’’
’’Hmm, if someone blocks it..’’
Karna shrugged.
’’We would think then. Don’t worry, nothing would happen to you, I promise.’’
’’ No, I’m not worried about it...’’
’’Hehehe, I know, I know, no one could forcibly separate us either, well, not including supreme gods,’’ Karna said.
The supreme gods were a universe itself; they were The Creator, The Preserver and The Destroyer.
Thinking that Karna was invisible in this universe while they existed would be the stupidest thing.
However, Karna was still invisible if this world followed mythological logic or maybe not. Karna remembered the story: once, the God of gods, also known as the god of destruction, the same one who gave Karna his divine blessing.
In the mythology, he gave a divine blessing to an Asura; the blessing was that whoever’s head that Asura placed his hand on, that person would be burned alive and reduced to ashes immediately.
After getting the blessing, that Asura tried to burn the supreme god himself who gave him the blessing. And according to mythological logic, once given, it couldn’t be taken back, so the supreme god had no choice left other than to run away, but the Asura chased him.
In the end, the Preserver came to help; he became the most beautiful woman— Mohini. The Mohini was so beautiful that the Asura forgot God and fell in love with her. Mohini said, I will marry you, but first dance with me and copy my dance steps.
The Asura agreed. Mohini danced very clearly, and she put her hand on her own head. The Asura copied her and turned into ash instantly– his own power killed him.
So, Karna thought that if the god wanted to kill him in the future, they would play tricks like this instead of taking back a divine blessing.
Because if the God of gods wanted to take it back, he wouldn’t have given it to him in the first place. So, it was an unnecessary thing to worry about.
All I have to do is be careful, not give my armor and earrings to some beauty.
Karna chuckled, thinking about it killing him wasn’t hard.
All they have to do is make me remove my armor and earrings, and I’m sure they would have millions of ways, probably... but why am I thinking this? I’m worrying about the future for no reason. It was really hard to just live in the present, wasn’t it?.
Soon Karna and Hidimbi entered the show ground. It was a big round stadium with many rows of seats going all around its center stage.
Hidimbi and Karna picked a seat; in fact, it was just in the third row. The people sitting offered them their own. Karna smiled and thanked them.
The watching area was crowded with people filled with excitement, and the ground down there was still empty.
Karna gazed toward another empty area; it was the gallery at the highest; that sitting area was probably for a royal family, as big and luxurious thrones were placed there.
In every direction, golden flags with the sun symbol of the Kuru family were flying in the wind.
Just as Karna was looking around, hundreds of war drums rang from all directions.
On the high platform, the little left-side throne gallery revealed a man in view. He had long white hair. A sword was at his waist, and he wore all-white clothes.
He raised one hand with a calm and serious face.
The drummer stopped beating the drums.
Dead silence fell. The crowd was probably confused about why they stopped.
Now, who might this guy be? Karna thought.
"He was coming. THE UNDEFEATED! THE GUARDIAN OF HASTINAPUR, THE SON OF MOTHER GANGA, THE STUDENT OF PARASHURAMA. PITAMAH... BHISHMA!" The man in white clothes announced in a loud, sharp voice.
Karna saw a figure walk into the throne gallery. It was a very tall man with broad shoulders. He had white hair and a white beard. He wore silver armor and looked like an experienced warrior who won every war. His title of undefeated wouldn’t be there for no reason.
The crowd stood up and bowed to him together.
Bhishma stood in front of a pure white and silver throne; it was at least ten big steps to the right of the central golden throne, which was probably for a king. However, his throne seemed one step higher than even the king’s throne.
Oh! Karna raised his brows. Why was he suddenly looking this way? I didn’t bow....
"Husband, I-I think he found out I’m not a human.." Hidimbi whispered in his ear.
"Already?" Karna muttered, then shrugged it off. " Don’t worry."
Karna noticed by now that Bhishma also moved his gaze from them. He was looking at the crowd, chanting his title, PITAMAH!.
"My children of Hastinapur, I see you. You may live long, and Hastinapur may live longer than me."
He said as if blessing everyone before he sat down.
"ALL HAIL THE KING OF KURU! KING DHRITARASHTRA AND QUEEN GANDHARI!" The announcer announced again.
When they came into view, Karna could guess who was who. The tall blind king, with a body like a wrestler, was holding the hand of his advisor, Vidura.
Beside him was his beautiful queen; her eyes were covered with a black silk blindfold.
The crowd placed hands on their chests and bowed, paying respect to their king and queen.

The man in white clothes kept announcing until every important figure appeared.
And again, loud war drums rang as the princes of Hastinapura stepped onto the ground.
