“I am not.
I have changed my mind.
I do not want to marry you anymore.
I want to do a contract marriage with Levi instead.”
Those words kept echoing in my mind as I looked at Levi in disbelief before looking at Jenna in confusion.
“I will not let that happen,” I refused but she didn’t look bothered.
“Well then, I guess I have to use force.” She simply said and walked towards the door, leaving me confused by her behavior.
When she opened the door and prepared to leave, her words were, “Brace yourself for my next move, Mr Levi.”
And then she left.
I stood in shock before turning to look at Levi who was as dumbfounded as I was.
“Why do I feel like you were bewitched by her, Carl?” Levi suspiciously asked and I frowned.
“What do you mean?”
“From the moment she started working here, you’ve been slightly different.” He pointed out and the moment I parted my lips to deny it, my eyes widened.
NO SHE DID NOT!

When I left the building, I went to where my car was parked and got behind the wheel before finally letting down the strong guard I put up for everyone to see.
As I sat in the silence of my car, I thought back to every moment with Levi and my sighing didn’t stop because I couldn’t believe I nearly missed that.
What if I had gotten married to Carl?
How then would I woo Levi?
But why does it have to be Levi who I couldn’t cast my spells on?
This just got complicated and I picked up my phone and decided to call my sisters for advice.
When I called the second triplet, she didn’t hesitate to answer like she had been waiting for my call.
“Hello, Rachel,” I spoke first.
“Hello, Jenna.
You don’t sound nice,” She pointed out.
“I found the man who my powers don’t work on but he is a die-hard gay man,” I whined like a frustrated teenager since she was my sister.
“Is his manhood still intact?” She asked instead and I smiled but responded, “Yes, it is very intact.”
The next time he refuses you, hold him by the balls, it will definitely affect him.
Every man has a spot for a woman and that spot can never be erased by them being with another man.”
At her advice I laughed and nodded in understanding.
“Have you found someone who will love you?” I curiously asked and her response was,
“He’s a reverend pastor who has vowed not to be involved with a woman or get married.” She answered and I smiled and responded with, “At least his manhood is still intact, isn’t it?”
And she laughed and said, “It is.”
When we spoke a little before I ended the call, I called my third triplet sister.
“Hello, Damaris.”
“Hello, Jenna.
Have you found someone to break the curse?”
“Yes, but he is a die-hard gay man,” I informed her.
“You even have it easy.
Do you know who I found?”
“Who?” I curiously asked.
“He’s a cold-blooded Mafia with no ounce of love in him.
I feel like punching him to his senses.
Like, who the heck doesn’t feel love for another human being?
He’s just crap!” She complained.
“Have you tried touching him?” I curiously asked.
“Yes but nothing,” she exhaustedly answered.
“I guess even with having a manhood isn’t enough then.
I wish you all the best sister.” I simply said because I had no advice for her.
“Sister?” She suddenly called me.
“Yes?” I answered.
“Do you think we are getting it all wrong?” She worriedly asked.
“Even if we are, at least we are doing something.”
“You said yours is a die-hard gay man, right?” She asked and I hummed in response.
“My advice to you would be to be his closest friend that he can’t do away with.
That’s how men steal girls from their boyfriends so use that same strategy.”
My eyes lit up in realization because she was right.
How did I not think of this at all?

I was about to leave the office since I had other things to do and that was when I stumbled upon Jenna as I was about to take the private elevator downstairs. This story is hosted at g.com.
My eyes widened and she looked taken aback but smiled and said in the nicest tone I have ever heard.
“Are you leaving already, Levi?”
I frowned suspiciously at her and asked a question back in order to irritate her.
“Why are you back here?
I thought you were done with my boyfriend?”
“I am done with your boyfriend but not with you, Levi.” She sweetly said and stepped forward but I didn’t step away.
“Can we settle our differences and be friends?” She proposed.
“Not happening.
I dislike you,” I dismissively said and pushed her aside before getting into the elevator.
She gasped at the way I pushed her out and turned to look at me only for me to smile and say, “Serves you right.”
“How dare you pu-”
But the elevator doors closed before she could finish her statement and I couldn’t stop smiling.
Now that’s the Jenna I know.

Ever since Jenna left the office, I couldn’t stop the restlessness I felt.
Why?
Because she had proven to be a remarkable business partner and for her to just walk away bothered me greatly.
I couldn’t stop sighing as I paced back and forth while thinking of a way to bring her back.
I wanted her to stick to the agreement.
It will be terrible to tell my parents I won’t be getting married to Jenna anymore after the stunt she pulled and made me rebel against them.
She was only here for three days and was already making a strong impact on me.
How did she make me do that?
Suddenly, the door to my office opened and in came the very person I was thinking of…Jenna.
It felt like a wave got washed over me and all my worries seemed to be cast aside the moment my eyes settled on her.
When she closed the door behind her, she looked in my direction and I held my breath as I waited for her to say something.
To perhaps change her mind.
The look she gave me was calm but unreadable.
When she parted her lips, my heart began to race in anticipation and her words hit me like a fresh wave.
“Let’s sign the marriage contract and get on with it.”
