~{JENNA’S POV}~

“B-boyfriend?” I stuttered like a fool.
How was I to know?
I just messed up big time!
Why did I run my mouth like that?
But he was at fault for picking on me.
“I don’t like you.
Your first impression is horrible,” he further said and walked away, leaving me wide eyed.
“My first impression is horrible?” I asked in disbelief and went after him.
When we got to the elevator I had come out of not too long, he pressed the button and got in and I quickly got inside before the doors closed on us.
Thankfully it was just the two of us and I decided to unleash my untamed side.
“Do you feel threatened by me?
I can understand.
I am so good-looking that even you paid attention to it.”
And in response, he glanced over his shoulder at me with an arched eyebrow and then he scoffed and faced forward.
“Of all people, why him?” I irritatedly asked because I couldn’t accept this union between them.
“Why does that concern you?
You are here to work, aren’t you?” He dismissively asked.
“I like him and I want him for myself,” I bluntly proclaimed and that seemed to get his full attention.
He slowly turned around to look down at me with wide eyes.
When he parted his lips to retaliate, the elevator doors opened and he clenched his jaw as his eyes burned into mine but I didn’t back down.
Without saying a word, he stepped out of the elevator and I followed.
Staff walking up and down immediately saw him and humbly greeted him but I rolled my eyes and marched ahead of him.
Lily spotted us and instantly came to where we were with a bright smile.
“Good morning, Mr Levi, I can see you have met our boss’s newest PA.
You both seem to get along,” she cheerfully said despite our outward expression in objection.
“She should be fired.” Levi blatantly and coldly declared and I turned to look at him with wide eyes.
He didn’t bother looking at me as his eyes stayed on Lily.
“Oh, I see.
Did she do anything wrong?” She confusedly asked as she looked at me as if she could detect what I did.
“She is a nuisance.
A man hunter and has made it perfectly clear that she is after my boyfriend and not here to work.” He said it as it was and Lily looked at me with wide eyes.
“Jenna, why?” She asked in horror and all I could say was,
“Mr Carl has poor taste in men.”
She gasped and looked around in case anyone heard and I felt a hand grip me by the arm.
When I looked up I discovered it was Levi and he was furious as he pulled me with him as we went all the way to a secluded part of the building.
“What?
Have I struck a nerve?”
I poured more salt on the already open wound despite the atmosphere.
He was rough with the way he held me but I didn’t bother.
When we got to the passage leading to Carl’s office, he pushed me away as he released me and I gasped when I nearly fell to the floor and turned to look at him in annoyance.
“How dare you handle a lady that way?” I demanded and he inched closer and pointed a finger at me.
“How dare you say my Carl has poor taste in men?
Who are you to say that?” He firmly demanded.
“I am Jenna Hart, you annoying man.
From the moment Carl brought up the fact that he has a boyfriend, I could tell that you were going to be a jerk,” I hissed at him in anger and he chuckled darkly while Lily stood in a state of shock as her eyes remained incredibly wide.
Without wasting a moment, Levi took out his phone and made a phone call.
“There is a mad lady making a scene up here.
Come and drag her out and make sure she doesn’t come back in here,” he instructed and I frowned at that.
This isn’t his place of work so why does he get to have the final say?
“No one will take me out of here until my boss gets back!” I firmly declared.
“We shall see about that.” Levi nonchalantly said.

A few minutes later…
I was dragged out of there by four guards and I created a memorable scene in everyone’s mind as I dragged and pulled at anyone just so I won’t leave the building.
Yet no matter how I tried, I was dragged out and my access card was roughly taken from me, leaving me helpless but I chose not to be.
I remained standing outside and didn’t move an inch.
“You will regret this, Mr Levi or whatever they call you,” I muttered under my breath as I waited for hours for my boss.
Before I knew what was happening, the weather changed and rain fell, soaking me in the process.
Yet I didn’t run, I remained standing in front of the building with my anger searing hot.
I hugged myself and a man came to offer me an umbrella but I declined because I was going to take advantage of this situation.
If he thinks he has the upper hand then he should wait until Carl is back.
And not too long, Carl’s car pulled up in front of me and I began to shiver as I put up a wounded expression.
When he got out of the car with one of the security guards coming to put an umbrella over him, his eyes met mine and he looked taken aback.
“What are you doing out here and under the rain, Jenna?” He asked in concern and I could feel the heaviness of his words which made me nearly smile in triumph.
“A man came by and had me ousted from the building.
He claims ownership and accused me of wanting to seduce you.” I reported his boyfriend to him without his knowledge of who the person was.
“Take off your jacket and hand it to her.” He instructed the man who held out an umbrella for him.
The man looked reluctant but Carl took the umbrella and he had no option but to take off his suit jacket and hand it over.
Carl gestured for me to come under the umbrella and I did before taking the jacket and draping it over my shoulders to cover myself.
My clothes had stuck to my body, revealing some inappropriate places, especially my cleavages.
To my delight, he placed a hand around my shoulder as he held me close since we were sharing an umbrella.
We walked up to the entrance and got inside before another guard took the umbrella from him and he finally let go of me.
“You need to change into something appropriate and it will be wrong to take you through the main elevator,” he thoughtfully said and led me to a private elevator.
It was well guarded and I began to wonder why he took the main elevator in the first place when leaving work.
As we got inside, none of us said a word and I watched him through the corner of my eyes and gulped at how perfect his jawline was and how manly he was.
“What happened?” He finally inquired but didn’t look at me.
“A man came in here claiming to be your boyfriend and he was rude to me despite me telling him you weren’t in and it will be improper to go to your office but he ignored me.
I kept pestering him and he got mad and had me dragged out by the guards.” I half lied.
He glanced at me and shook his head before looking ahead again.
“Your first day at work and you already made two enemies.
How convenient,” he exhaustedly said and that was when the elevator doors came open.
I blinked in surprise when we came to the private passage leading directly to his office.
He walked ahead and I followed until we got to his office.
He pushed the door open and walked in and I followed.
When we both got in, I froze when I found the very man, Mr Levi, sitting behind Carl’s desk and in his office chair.
He swerved the chair with a bright smile but the moment his eyes settled on me, his expression soured.
“Why is she here, Carl?” He coldly demanded as he stood up and walked around the desk.
But instead of responding, Carl walked up to Levi and kissed him on the lips before saying, “She’s my PA from now on, love.”
My body shivered in annoyance and I cringed at the fact that they were being lovey dovey in front of me but I refused to look away.
Especially not when Levi was throwing invisible daggers at me with his eyes as he kissed Carl back.
My hands clenched to fists and I vowed in my mind that I will do whatever it is I need to do to get Carl to myself.
Even if it means taking advantage of him
