(Part 1) 25: Chapter 13: The Enraged Hyoga, The Galaxian Wars Begin!
(Part 1) A furious roar tore through the biting Siberian wind.
The moisture surrounding Hyoga suddenly boiled, and a sky full of ice crystals spun frantically before him, coalescing into a vortex several meters in diameter.
A blinding white light erupted from the center of the vortex.
It was frigid air compressed to its absolute limit; wherever it passed, even the falling snowflakes were frozen into diamond-shaped ice crystals as it howled toward Alex!
Alex didn’t even ignite his Cosmo.
He merely waved his hand gently.
Bang!
That Diamond Dust, capable of shattering a boulder a hundred meters away, disintegrated instantly as if crashing into an invisible barrier.
Fragments of ice crystals danced in the air, drifting down to land harmlessly on Alex’s shoulders.
“All flash, no soul,” Alex commented coldly.
With a flick of his fingertips, several ice needles suddenly materialized.
Their bodies were almost entirely transparent, with only their tips gleaming with a ghostly blue, freezing light as they shot in a parallel line straight for Hyoga’s throat!
Hyoga’s pupils shrank sharply as he violently dodged to the side.
The ice needles grazed his Cloth and embedded themselves into the ice cliff behind him.
The rock-hard surface of the glacier instantly spiderwebbed with cracks…
Hyoga looked up, realizing that in the split second he had dodged, Alex had vanished into thin air.
“Oh no!” A bone-piercing chill swept in from behind him.
Hyoga whipped his head around, only to find Alex already standing behind him, a palm pressed firmly against the center of his back!
“You disappoint me, Hyoga!” With a slight push of his palm, Hyoga felt an overwhelming, majestic force crash into him like a tsunami.
His body was sent flying like a kite with a snapped string, slamming heavily into the ancient iceberg behind him!
Boom!
The entire iceberg collapsed on impact.
Tens of thousands of tons of snow and crushed ice poured down, completely burying Hyoga.
The rising snow mist blotted out the sun, dimming the light of the sky.
Alex’s eyes didn’t show a single ripple of emotion.
“Get up!
An attack of this level isn’t enough to kill you!” The five legendary Bronze Saints were notoriously harder to kill than cockroaches.
Alex firmly believed that this meager amount of damage could absolutely never kill Hyoga.
“Argh!” Hyoga’s furious roar erupted from beneath the massive blocks of ice.
He threw a punch, sending countless chunks of ice and snow blasting into the air to form an ice-blue fountain!
Before the snow mist could clear, Hyoga’s figure had already appeared behind Alex.
His punching speed was several times faster than before.
The gauntlet of the Cygnus Cloth gleamed with a freezing light as it smashed directly toward Alex’s head.
However, this inevitable punch passed straight through Alex’s body, as if striking empty air.
Alex’s figure gradually blurred where he stood, dissipating into countless ice crystals.
Hyoga had only hit an afterimage.
Alex stood a short distance away atop a peak of ice, offering his critique.
“You’ve improved, but you are still a hundred thousand miles away from defeating me!
Hyoga, as my student, you’ve disappointed me immensely.
It seems I must teach you that weakness is the original sin!” Alex raised his hand.
Dangling from his palm and swaying in the freezing wind was a cross necklace.
Hyoga’s pupils instantly shrank to the size of pinpricks.
It was the sole keepsake left to him by his mother, Natassia!
He had worn it around his neck for as long as he could remember.
Yet, at some unknown moment, Alex had snatched it away without him even realizing it!
“No!” Alex flicked his wrist, and the necklace traced a silver arc through the air before plunging into the churning, icy sea in the distance, instantly swallowed by the black waves.
Hyoga’s eyes nearly split open in fury.
He spun around, ready to dive straight into the freezing ocean.
The currents in this stretch of the sea shifted by the second; if he hesitated for even a moment, he would never find his mother’s memento again!
“Are you angry?” Alex’s figure suddenly appeared in front of him, blocking his path, a cold smirk hanging on his lips.
“Then use all of your strength and defeat me!” “Teacher!” _____ T/N:
