Jayjay’s POV : When I finally regained consciousness, the first thing I saw was the beautiful temple standing in front of me.
Krishna’s temple.
I didn’t say anything.
I quietly opened the car door and stepped outside.
Percy didn’t stop me.
He didn’t follow me either.
Maybe…
he knew I needed some space.
I walked inside the temple without saying a word.
The moment I entered, everything became quiet.
The outside world seemed to disappear.
The sound of the waterfall was faintly audible from outside, while the soft ringing of the temple bells filled the air.
🛕 I walked toward the idol of Radha-Krishna and sat there.
I don’t know how much time passed.
Maybe one hour.
Maybe two.
Maybe even more.
I didn’t care.
I just sat there.
Looking at Krishna.
And for the first time since everything happened…
I let my thoughts come out.
I knew I was overthinking.
But my thoughts weren’t random.
They were questions I had been carrying inside me for years.
Why am I not lovable?
Why can’t anyone love me without expecting something from me?
Why am I always the one who doesn’t get to experience real love?
💔 My eyes started filling with tears again.
Yuri used me because he wanted to win against Keifer?
A bitter laugh escaped my lips.
Keifer wanted revenge on my brother through a fucking plan?
😂💔 Kuya Angelo used me for his company.
I looked down.
And then there was Section E.
The people I had once considered my family.
The people I trusted.
The people I thought would stand beside me no matter what.
And they had broken that trust.
All except David.
He had told me about the plan.
He didn’t even know that I already knew about it.
But at least…
he tried to face me.
And then I found out something even more unexpected.
He was my childhood friend.
David.
The person I had known long before all of this.
I had waited every single day from the beginning of that fucking plan.
I kept thinking…
Surely, someone will tell me.
Surely, at least one of the sixteen will come to me and tell me the truth.
But there was only one person who did.
David.
And the funny thing was…
He didn’t even know that I already knew.
I looked at Krishna and gave a small, broken laugh.
“You know what’s funny, Krishna?” 🦚 “I never expected this from David.” I wiped my tears.
“I was expecting it from Ci-N…” A small smile appeared on my face.
“Because he became my brother.” “Felix…” I sighed.
“He’s my stepbrother.
Even though he doesn’t know that, I’ve done so many things for him.” “And Keifer…” My smile disappeared.
“I thought he really loved me.” My voice became quieter.
“But none of them…” “Not even once…” “tried to talk to me about the plan.” I lowered my head.
“Why, Krishna?” “Why is trusting people always so painful?” 💔 I don’t know how long I stayed there.
But eventually…
I felt lighter.
Not completely okay.
Not even close.
But enough to breathe.
I stood up, folded my hands in front of Radha-Krishna, and whispered softly, “I am scared krishna…..” 🙏🏻 Then I walked out of the temple.
The air outside was cool and fresh after the rain.
The waterfall continued flowing down the cliff, its sound blending with the gentle waves crashing against the rocks below.
🌊 I spotted Percy sitting near the waterfall.
He was looking out at the water, lost in his thoughts.
I walked over and quietly sat beside him.
He immediately noticed me.
Percy: “Are you okay now, baby?” I looked at the waterfall.
Jayjay: “Better.” He studied my face for a moment.
Percy: “Now tell me…
what happened?” I turned toward him.
I stared at him for a few seconds.
Because…
He was always there.
Whenever I needed someone.
Whenever I was falling apart.
Whenever I felt like the entire world had turned against me.
He was there.
🥺💙 I took a deep breath.
And then I started telling him everything.
Everything about the plan.
Everything about Aris, my brother, and Keifer’s insult in front of Section E and Section A.
How nobody stood up for me.
How everyone stayed silent.
I told him about David.
My childhood friend.
My best friend.
I told him everything I had discovered.
Everything I had heard.
Everything that had happened.
Even the way I had insulted Keifer in front of everyone.
Percy didn’t interrupt me.
He just listened.
Quietly.
Patiently.
When I finally finished, there was silence between us for a few seconds.
Then…
A laugh escaped his mouth.
I looked at him in confusion.
Percy: “Damn!!
Baby…” He shook his head, trying not to laugh.
“You were savage!” 😂 I couldn’t help it.
A small laugh escaped my mouth too.
A real one.
For the first time that day.
Percy looked at me and smiled.
Percy: “I should’ve seen that.” I rolled my eyes.
He laughed again.
Then his expression suddenly became serious.
Percy: “Baby, you don’t have to carry everything alone.” His voice was soft.
“I’ll find out why all of this happened.” He paused.
His expression became dangerously calm.
“And I’ll personally arrange their funeral with my beautiful hands.” 😐🔪 I stared at him.
Then I smiled and hugged him tightly.
Jayjay: “You don’t have to, Percy.” He immediately shook his head.
Percy: “NO!” His voice echoed slightly across the cliff.
I flinched.
I knew how protective he was of me.
He took a breath and continued.
Percy: “They messed with the wrong person.” He looked directly at me.
“My sister.
My Jayjay.” His voice was filled with anger.
“Keifer wanted revenge on Aris?
Fine.” “But he had no right to involve you in his fucking plan.” “There is obviously something that happened between you and Aris that we don’t know about yet.” He clenched his fists.
“But that doesn’t give Aris the rights to insult you or treat you like you’re nothing.” “I’m not going to let them get away with this easily.” I looked at him silently.
He was angry.
Really angry.
But underneath that anger…
I knew there was only one thing.
Love.
He was protecting me because I was his Jay.
💙 I took a deep breath.
Jayjay: “Percy…” He looked at me.
“I don’t want to live with them anymore.” 🥺 His expression softened immediately.
Percy: “Baby…” He sighed.
“I can’t take you with me right now.” “I don’t have the right to make that decision for you.” “But…” He looked into my eyes.
“Just wait a few days.” “Only a few days.” I stayed silent for a moment.
Then I nodded.
Jayjay: “Okay.” I looked down at my hands.
“But, Percy…” “Don’t break my trust.” My voice became shaky.
“I don’t have the strength to handle one more breakdown.” “I hate trusting people now.” I swallowed the lump in my throat.
“And please do something fast.” I looked at him.
“Jeena is coming back in a few days.” My voice became quieter.
“I don’t want to see her face.” Percy stared at me.
He knew.
He knew exactly how much I hated seeing Jeena.
For a few seconds, he didn’t say anything.
Then tears slowly started falling from his eyes.
🥺 Without saying another word, he pulled me into a tight hug.
Percy: “Never, baby.” He gently rubbed my back.
“Let’s go back.” I simply nodded.
We walked back toward the car.
I got into the passenger seat while Percy sat behind the steering wheel.
He started the car.
We stopped at McDonald’s He ordered happy meals there was lots of food.
Burgers.
Fries.
Cokes.
I stared at everything.
Then I slowly looked at Percy.
He looked completely serious.
Percy: “I know you haven’t eaten anything since morning.” He pointed toward the food.
“Just eat something.” “I can’t see you like this.” I looked at the food again.
There were ten burgers, six boxes of fries, and six cokes.
I raised an eyebrow.
Jayjay: “But Percy…” I pointed at the food.
“There are ten burgers, six boxes of fries, and six cokes.” I looked at him suspiciously.
“Do you really think we’re monsters who need this much food?” 🤨 Percy looked at me seriously.
Percy: “You don’t understand, baby.” “This is an emergency.” I frowned.
Jayjay: “An emergency?” Percy: “Yes.” Jayjay: “What emergency?” He pointed toward the burgers.
Percy: “You haven’t eaten since morning.” I stared at him.
Jayjay: “Percy…
there are TEN burgers.” Percy: “Exactly.” Jayjay: “Exactly WHAT?” He shrugged.
Percy: “I don’t know how hungry you are.” I blinked.
Then I looked at the mountain of food.
Jayjay: “So you ordered enough food to feed Section E?” He nodded proudly.
Percy: “Safety first.” 😌 I sighed dramatically.
Jayjay: “You are insane.” Percy: “And you’re eating six burgers.” I immediately shook my head.
Jayjay: “Two.” Percy: “Five.” Jayjay: “Two.” He sighed.
Percy: “Fine.
Four and a half.” I stared at him.
Jayjay: “How am I supposed to eat half a burger?” Percy: “Then eat Five.
Problem solved.” I stared at him in disbelief.
Jayjay: “Why are you like this?” Percy simply laughed.
And despite everything…
I laughed too.
😂❤️ For a few minutes, we just sat there eating.
No plans.
No betrayal.
No painful questions.
Just me and Percy.
And for those few minutes…
I felt normal again.
After we finished eating, Percy started the car again.
The temple slowly disappeared behind us as we drove away from the cliff.
I leaned my head against the window and watched the scenery pass by.
The sky was still cloudy.
The roads were wet from the rain.
The sound of the tires moving over the damp road filled the car.
Neither of us spoke.
After everything that had happened…
Silence felt easier.
Halfway through the journey, I suddenly remembered something.
I took out my phone.
I stared at it for a moment.
Then I remembered what David had told me.
There was a tracker in my phone.
I didn’t hesitate.
I rolled down the window.
And before Percy could understand what I was doing…
I threw the phone out of the window.
It disappeared somewhere behind us.
Percy looked at me in confusion.
Percy: “What did you just do?” I turned toward him.
Jayjay: “David told me there’s a tracker in the phone.” Percy’s expression immediately changed.
He understood.
Percy: “I’ll buy you a new one tomorrow.” I simply nodded.
“Okay.” He didn’t ask anything else.
And I didn’t say anything more.
The rest of the drive was completely silent.
Percy focused on the road.
I stared out of the window.
Both of us lost in our own thoughts.
But one thing was certain…
After everything that happened today, nothing between us would ever be the same again.
I hope you’re enjoying the story so far.
I would really love to hear your thoughts and opinions about it.
