Percy’s POV 💙 (A/N: In this version, Percy and David are not connected in any way, and David does not have a girlfriend.) Today was the day.
After seven long months, I was finally going to see my Jay again.
❤️ I couldn’t even explain how happy I was.
I had so many things to tell her.
So many things to ask.
Seven months was a long time, and I had missed her more than I wanted to admit.
I took out my phone and called her.
Calling…
Jay Baby❤️ She didn’t answer.
I frowned slightly.
Maybe she’s busy.
I called again.
Still no answer.
I decided not to disturb her anymore and went to wait in the parking area.
I stood beside my car, looking toward the main building every few seconds.
And then…
I saw her.
Jayjay was walking out of the main building.
At first glance, she looked completely calm.
Too calm.
Anyone else might have thought she was perfectly fine.
But I knew her.
I knew that face.
I could tell immediately that something was wrong.
Then…
Her eyes found mine.
The moment she saw me, something changed in her expression.
I could see it clearly.
Relief.
As if she had finally found the person she had been looking for.
Without thinking twice, she started running toward me.
“Kuya…” 😭 Before I could even say anything, she threw her arms around me.
I immediately hugged her back.
And then she started crying.
Not just a few tears.
She was crying heavily, her entire body trembling against me.
Her breathing was uneven, and she was struggling to catch her breath.
My heart started pounding.
“Jay…” I held her tighter.
The weather suddenly became worse.
Dark clouds covered the sky, and within moments, heavy rain began pouring down.
🌧️⛈️ It was as if the weather itself was reacting to her emotions.
Jayjay: “Ku….yaaa…” 😭😭 I immediately panicked.
Because I knew something.
She only called me “Kuya” like that when she was on the verge of completely breaking down.
I gently held her face.
“Hey…
hey, baby.” I kissed her forehead softly.
(A/N: Percy calls Jayjay “baby” in this story.
He does NOT call her “baby sistah.”) She hugged me even tighter.
It felt like she was afraid to let me go.
And honestly…
I was afraid to let her go too.
It felt as though we had both been scared of losing each other for the past seven months.
Percy: “Baby, relax…
breathe.” I rubbed her back gently.
“Just try to breathe slowly, okay?” My voice was calm, even though I was panicking inside.
“Look at me, baby.
Slowly…
breathe.” 🥺 My own eyes were beginning to blur with tears.
I hated seeing her like this.
Jayjay: “Kuya…
I…
I trusted them.” Her voice broke.
“I trusted him…” 😭 I closed my eyes for a moment.
I didn’t know what had happened.
I didn’t know who she was talking about.
But whatever it was…
It had broken her.
Percy: “I know…” I hugged her tighter.
“I know, baby.
It’s okay.” “Just breathe.
I’m here.” I gently rubbed her head.
Slowly…
Her breathing began to settle.
The rain was still pouring heavily, but I could finally feel her body relaxing in my arms.
Then I heard her whisper something.
Jayjay: “Krishnaa…” 🦚🙏🏻 Her voice was barely audible.
And before I could say anything…
Her body suddenly went limp.
“Jay?!” I caught her immediately.
She had fainted.
My heart nearly stopped.
“Jayjay!” I checked her breathing.
She was breathing.
Thank God.
I took a deep breath.
I knew exactly where I needed to take her.
There was one place where she always found peace.
Our place.
I carefully picked her up and carried her to my car.
I opened the passenger-side door and gently placed her inside.
I made sure she was comfortable before closing the door.
Then I quickly got into the driver’s seat.
The engine started.
And I drove away from the school.
🚗🌧️ During the entire drive, one question kept running through my mind.
What happened?
What could have happened that broke my Jay this badly?
I had seen her angry.
I had seen her frustrated.
I had seen her scared.
But this…
This was different.
I glanced at her sleeping figure in the passenger seat.
She looked so peaceful now.
So different from the girl who had been crying in my arms only minutes ago.
“Who hurt you, baby?” I whispered.
My grip tightened around the steering wheel.
“I’ll find out.” After driving for some time, we finally reached the place where we always went whenever we needed peace.
🌿💙 It was a breathtaking place surrounded by nature.
A massive cliff stood overlooking the sea, with lush green grass covering the land around it.
The sound of waves crashing against the rocks could be heard from a distance.
And beside the cliff was a beautiful waterfall, its clear water flowing down from the green hillside and falling dramatically toward the rocks below.
🌊💧 (check comments for the image) The place was peaceful.
Almost untouched.
The kind of place where you could forget the entire world existed.
But there was something even more special about it.
This place belonged to Jayjay.
Five years ago, she had bought this entire property because it was one of her favorite places.
And because of her deep devotion to Radha and Krishna, she had decided to build something meaningful here.
She had given a contract to construct a beautiful Radha-Krishna temple on the property.
It took nearly two years to complete.
The temple stood proudly against the blue sky, with its white stone architecture, beautifully carved pillars, domes, intricate designs, and tall shikhars reaching toward the heavens.
(check comments for the image) Golden flags fluttered gently above the temple.
It wasn’t just a temple to Jayjay.
It was her safe place.
Her connection to Krishna.
A place where she could speak freely without being judged.
She was deeply devoted to Radha-Krishna, and whenever she felt alone or emotionally broken, she would come here and talk to Shree Krishna.
Sometimes she would sit inside the temple for hours.
Sometimes she wouldn’t say anything at all.
She would simply sit in front of Krishna.
Because she believed that He would understand even the words she couldn’t say aloud.
🦚🙏🏻💙 I parked the car near the temple.
For a few moments, nothing happened.
Then I noticed her fingers moving.
She was waking up.
I immediately turned toward her.
“Jay?” Her eyes slowly opened.
But something felt…
wrong.
There were no tears.
No anger.
No sadness.
No fear.
Nothing.
Her eyes were completely blank.
Emotionless.
As if everything that had happened at school had simply disappeared.
She slowly looked around.
First at me.
Then at the unfamiliar surroundings.
And then…
Her eyes stopped at the temple.
I watched her silently.
She opened the passenger door and stepped out.
She didn’t say anything.
She simply walked toward the temple.
I knew what she needed.
She needed time.
She needed Krishna.
And most importantly…
She needed to be alone.
So I didn’t follow her.
I stayed where I was.
I watched her disappear inside the temple.
Then I walked away from the car and sat near the waterfall.
The sound of the falling water mixed with the sound of the waves crashing against the cliffs.
🌊 I stared at the flowing water, lost in my thoughts.
I knew Jay.
Whenever she felt completely alone…
Whenever she was on the verge of breaking…
She always talked to Shree Krishna.
She didn’t need anyone to answer her.
She simply needed someone she believed would listen.
And right now…
Krishna was the only one she wanted to talk to.
🦚🙏🏻 I looked toward the temple.
“Take care of her…” I whispered.
“Until she is ready to come back to me.” And for the first time since I had arrived…
I allowed myself to wonder what had happened.
Who had hurt my Jay this badly?
