Rong Yi was scrolling through the comments under her Weibo post.
Almost all of them were praising Fa Cai for being so adorable and expressing how much they wanted to pet him.
Some even asked if this was a new kitten her wife had brought home.
Rong Yi picked a few comments and replied to them one by one.
“Fa Cai, your internet sisters really like you~” Rong Yi affectionately nuzzled Fa Cai’s head.
“Meow~” Of course, I know I’m popular.
A notification popped up on her phone, and Rong Yi reflexively opened it.

After just a few exchanges, Gu Ye had some matters to attend to at G&Y and ended the conversation.
Rong Yi casually set her phone aside and turned to groom Fa Cai’s fur.
She mumbled to herself, “Fa Cai, when do you think Mom will finally win over your Dad?”
Fa Cai turned his head away. “Meow.”
He didn’t know either. His owner’s thoughts were too hard to guess.
Just as Rong Yi was wondering what to do next, Su Ying suddenly spoke up, “Daisy’s vice president, Aron, has scheduled a meeting with us at 3 p.m. to discuss the advertisement shoot.”
Rong Yi frowned slightly. “It’s less than two hours until three.”
“So hurry up and get ready. We need to leave right away.”
Su Ying had just received Aron’s reply email, and with time so tight, they had to prepare immediately.
The sudden work caught Rong Yi off guard, forcing her to quickly apply makeup and change clothes.
While Rong Yi was getting ready, Guoguo asked Su Ying, “Ying, do I need to go too?”
Since it wasn’t a shooting day, Guoguo normally wouldn’t have to accompany them this afternoon.
But why was Guoguo suddenly asking this?
“What’s wrong, Guoguo? Don’t you want to go?”
Guoguo shook her head and glanced at Fa Cai, who was engrossed in playing with a yarn ball. “If we all go out, what about Fa Cai?”

Aron took a sip of coffee and apologized to Gu Ye, who sat across from him. “Gu, I’ve arranged a meeting with Miss Rong to discuss the shoot.
“I thought since you know Miss Rong, it would be a good opportunity to go over the shooting plan together.”
Gu Ye raised an eyebrow, the corners of his mouth curling into a deeper smile. “Sure.”
He wondered how the woman would react when she saw him later.
Rong Yi and Su Ying arrived almost exactly on time. Traffic had been a bit congested on the way, and with the tight schedule, Rong Yi had taken a little longer with her makeup.
Since it was a work-related meeting, Rong Yi had deliberately chosen a slightly retro makeup look, even using the classic shade from Daisy’s previous series for her lipstick.
Paired with a light brown trench coat, she wore a black bodycon mini skirt underneath, with black stockings perfectly accentuating the woman’s sensuality.
To better match this outfit, Rong Yi ignored that her foot was still in the final stage of recovery.
Defiantly choosing a pair of black pointed-toe stilettos, she opted for a slightly lower heel at Su Ying’s persuasion.
Aron, fearing too many eyes and potential complications, deliberately chose a more secluded spot, with a light-colored screen shielding them.
Rong Yi wore a mask and sunglasses, accompanied by Su Ying.
Worried they might not find the place, Aron specifically instructed his assistant to wait outside.
Although Rong Yi was well-covered, Aron’s assistant recognized her at a glance.
He stepped forward and said, “Miss Rong, I am Aron’s assistant. Mr. Aron instructed me to wait here for both of you. Please follow me.”
“Alright.”
Su Ying walked past the light-colored screen, with Rong Yi following closely behind.
Su Ying first scanned the room and, upon seeing Gu Ye, paused for a moment, clearly not expecting him to be there.
Standing slightly behind and to the side of Su Ying, Rong Yi saw the man sitting calmly in his chair through her black sunglasses.
She was even more surprised. Gu Ye had told her he was going to G&Y Magazine, so why was he here?
With this question in mind, Rong Yi withdrew her gaze from Gu Ye.
Su Ying leaned forward slightly, extending her hand to Aron with respect, and said, “Hello, Mr. Aron. I’ve long heard of your reputation. I am Su Ying, Rong Yi’s manager.”
Aron stood up, shook Su Ying’s hand, and said, “Hello.”
Rong Yi removed her mask and sunglasses, her beautiful face adorned with her signature professional smile.
“Hello, Mr. Aron. I am Rong Yi. It’s an honor to meet you.”
She also extended her hand to shake Aron’s as a gesture of respect.
“Oh, my God~ I thought Miss Rong was already stunning in photos, but she’s even more beautiful in person.” Aron expressed a small surprise at Rong Yi’s beauty.
Rong Yi curved her lips into a faint smile. “Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Aron.”
“Please, have a seat.”
Gu Ye sat to the side, a faint smile on his lips, lazily tilting his head as he watched Rong Yi.
The table in front of them was a six-seater. Aron and Gu Ye sat facing each other, with a chair beside each of them, and the remaining two chairs on either side of the long table.
Seeing this, Su Ying didn’t hesitate and pulled out the chair beside her to sit down.
Rong Yi looked at the seat Su Ying had left for her. She couldn’t sit next to Mr. Aron, so she would sit…
Aron watched as Rong Yi took the seat beside Gu Ye and smiled knowingly. “Since you two know each other, I won’t bother with introductions.”
Rong Yi’s brows and eyes flickered slightly. How did Aron know she and Gu Ye were acquainted?
What Rong Yi didn’t realize was that after sitting down, her body instinctively leaned toward Gu Ye’s direction.
Clearly, Gu Ye noticed this too. The corner of his mouth lifted slightly as he said slowly, “Aron, let’s begin discussing the matter you mentioned.”
After speaking, Gu Ye lazily leaned back, possessively placing his hand on the back of Rong Yi’s chair, creating the illusion of holding her in his arms.
Rong Yi didn’t find anything inappropriate about it. In fact, she wished Gu Ye would be even more intimate with her and remained completely unaware of the implications.
Su Ying glanced sideways slightly, secretly clicking her tongue in her heart. This feeling of controlling everything—could it be that in the end, their Rong Yi would be the lamb walking into the tiger’s den?
Aron knew they were friends and didn’t feel anything unusual about it. After all, in his country, friends meeting each other directly greet with a cheek kiss.
