Chapter 6 | Let’s Test This Bad Boy Out

So I'm A Villain, So What?

"Hah, that was really a hassle..." Urek muttered, walking slowly as he recalled the chaotic events.

Well, the grand finale had been genuinely hilarious...so much so that thinking about it made him laugh out loud until he practically started crying.

"Now, what about my performance evaluation, System? You’re taking too long. The system in other novels doesn’t leave you hanging in debt.." Urek grumbled, visibly irritated by his companion’s apparent incompetence.

[ Just wait a moment, Host... ]

[ Evaluating... Evaluating... Evaluating... ]

[ Quest Completed! ]

[ Host Performance Rating: SSS! ]

[ Legendary Villain Title Earned: "It Was All Part Of My Plan." ]

[ Basic Reward: 100 Villain Points! ]

’Whoa... a solid start. Not bad at all... not bad.’ Urek smirked with satisfaction.

He didn’t have a clear idea of what the title actually did yet...it was probably like those glowing text badges displayed right next to a character’s name.

It’s bound to have some decent boosts and stat buffs, which he fully intended to read up on.

But before that... he needed to feast his eyes on the individual achievement bonuses!

[ Achievement unlocked: Fragrant Encounter! ]

[ You successfully sniffed the unique scent of the first heroine! You pursued the most impossible endeavor an antagonist could face... making you the very first villain in history to sniff that celestial fragrance! ]

[ Reward: 20 Villain Points! ]

[ Achievement unlocked: Handful of Heaven! ]

[ You fondled the busty chest of the first heroine in the most bizarre manner imaginable! Not only did you grope her assets, but your hands were buried completely deep... and to top it off, no ordinary goblin has ever managed to touch that otherworldly softness! ]

[ Reward: 50 Villain Points! ]

[ Achievement unlocked: All Green! ]

[ The protagonist witnessed the very first "All Green" phenomenon in existence, proving just how "lucky" he truly was! Not only that, but you managed to violently shove your unwashed rear right into his face... specifically invading his nostrils. ]

[ Reward: 70 Villain Points! ]

[ Achievement unlocked: Destiny Altered! ]

[ You successfully manipulated the strings of fate! It was deemed an impossible endeavor by the laws of this world, yet you managed to completely rewrite the inevitable! ]

[ Reward: 90 Villain Points! ]

[ Lastly... ding... ding... ding. ]

’Keke... let’s see the grand prize...’ Urek leaned in closer, highly anticipating the final tally.

[ Achievement unlocked: Rearguard Penetration! ]

[ You achieved the absolute impossible! You successfully shoved a thick wooden stake right into the hero’s backside... making you the single most devious villain to ever pull off such a heinous feat! ]

[ Reward: 150 Villain Points! ]

[ Ding... Ding... Ding... ]

[ Overall Completion Rewards Distributed: ]

Rewards: World of Mind ( Single Use Artifact- SSS Rank)

Villain Suit ( Armor - SS Rank)

Villian Monocle ( Accessory - SS Rank)

"Not bad. These rewards are honestly the absolute best of the best..." Urek paused in his tracks, his eyes sparkling as he scanned the descriptions of his newly acquired loot.

Calculating the total Villain Points he had just accumulated, Urek realized he had earned a total of 480 points.

Though he didn’t quite understand the exact purchasing power or the value of the currency yet, it felt like a massive hoard.

He decided to rest against a nearby tree, eager to inspect his items immediately.

[ World of Mind: The absolute pinnacle of mental artifacts this universe has to offer. Upon activation, it can magnify your cognitive faculties countless times over...provided your inherent talent and mental grit can withstand the strain. The output can range from a complete dud to a 10,000-fold multiplier. ]`

"Holy... what a broken artifact. This is clearly tailored for natural-born geniuses, not to mention the protagonist himself." Urek drooled slightly as he stared at the orb floating in his inventory.

It looked like an entire miniature realm compressed down into the size of a standard baseball.

’System... if I were to absorb this right now, how many folds would my mind expand?’ Urek asked, curious about his baseline potential.

In most stories, antagonists were notorious for being powerless, untalented individuals who ultimately succumbed to darkness out of pure desperation...which was exactly what shaped them into complete villains.

[ Your innate talent is remarkably shitty, Host. If you utilize the orb right now, your maximum cognitive amplification would cap out at roughly 10 folds... ]

’.....’

Urek stood completely speechless. He hadn’t expected his evaluation to be "that" brutally disappointing.

’What about the minimum?’

[ Do you want to break your own heart, Host? ]

"Tsk... no, shut up. I guess I’ll just have to set this item aside for the time being." Urek sighed, opting not to gamble with the artifact since his character sheet explicitly labeled his luck as garbage.

It would be highly foolish to make a reckless move knowing his fortune and talent were entirely mediocre.

Just like that, his grand expectations of instantly creating an army of clones were temporarily snuffed out.

’Too bad... but as the famous saying goes: "If you believe in your dreams you can achieve your dreams just by working hard.".’

He had learned that valuable lesson from a fiercely dedicated, man named "Stone Lee."

Refusing to dwell on the setback, Urek cleared his mind, knowing that stressing over it wouldn’t do him any favors.

"How about the remaining two items then?" Urek murmured, tapping on the next icon.

[ Villain Suit: A glorious ensemble tailored exclusively for the finest antagonist. Equipping this armor marks you as the absolute boss among bosses. ]

Features:

Shapeshift:Allows the user to seamlessly alter their physical structure to match any currently unlocked clone or persona at will.

Chameleon:Provides the ability to cosmetically alter the outfit’s appearance on the fly, ranging from a glamorous tuxedo to rag-tag civilian clothing...the choice is yours.

Innate Aura: The oppressive dread of a true villain naturally seeps into your physique. The fabric helps regulate this presence, allowing you to suppress it entirely or unleash it at will.

Conceal:Completely masks your true power level. Your current Tier becomes entirely unmeasurable and invisible even to the strongest entities, though you can manually choose to display it if desired.

"Now this is what I call a top-tier reward... magnificent." Urek nodded his head repeatedly, thoroughly satisfied as he admired the sleek, detailed garment hovering on his screen.

"Let’s test this bad boy out."

The moment his fingers brushed against the floating attire, the fabric liquified, flowing smoothly over his skin like a living entity.

In an instant, his simple Earthly clothes were completely overwritten, transforming his appearance into a flawless, tailor-made suit.
