If Party B fails to do that, then that is an automatic breach of contract.

“Party A will follow the same instructions.

No to be with anyone while he’s still together with party B.

*Party B is allowed to do her work, however, she should never do anything to disgrace the Grey family.

It is not accepted.

*From now on, Party A is responsible for all the expenses of Party B and the house.

Party B will never lack anything.

*Party A will help Party B with her career too.

He would find her lifestyle and everything to the fullest.

She has nothing to worry about.

*Party B can fall in love with Party A as long as they are married.

And if things work better, they can extend their marriage contract.

Maeve read through the contract and felt it was good for her.

Except for falling in love.

Did he really think she was that desperate for love?

She could also stay away from his room, she didn’t even want to be there anyway.

She didn’t wear men’s clothing so she didn’t care about wearing his clothes.

Another issue she had with the agreement, was the sex part, four times in a week?

That was too much.

Fred never did that with her.

They fucked once every two weeks right from their early stage of marriage.

She always thought it was normal, till her friends started bragging about how many times their husbands get them in a week.

“This is…

Okay.” Maeve said.

“Where can I sign?” She said and Miles pointed out the spot she could sign.

She hated love, so Clayton doesn’t have to worry about her falling for him.

The money sending is the reason she had even agreed to this.

She has a lot to do with money now.

Promotional campaign, especially for tonight’s performance so that it doesn’t just die down.

Miles handed a pan to her and she signed it.

“Alright.

I’m so sorry for all of the threats and loud talks, Mrs Grey.

I shall take my leave and make an announcement to the maids.” Maeve nodded at his words as she watched him leave.

Her gaze returned to the man on the bed and she sighed.

In this life, not only had she known him, but she was now married to him.

She wondered if he had died in her past life.

Was that why she never saw him ever, even though he was Clayton’s uncle?

In her last, she recalled hearing of the Grey on the news.

And it was because they had lost more than 70% of their wealth due to a bad investment with a German company.

She has known because Fred has celebrated that day.

Maeve stared at Clayton and sighed.

She was tired from the day’s work and everything that had happened earlier.

She yawned one time, searching for a chair to sit on, but she found none.

She walked to the door to find someone who would bring one for her, but the door didn’t open.

It seems that stupid Miles has locked them together.

What the hell was he thinking, that she would run away?

Maeve sighed and walked towards the bathroom, she opened the door to see everything intact.

The room had a built-in closet so she walked into it to see all male clothes in there.

The contract she just signed flashed in her mind almost immediately as she stared at the clothes.

It was obvious they were his clothes, but she couldn’t sleep without bathing.

And definitely not in her own dress.

She took his clothes anyway and walked quickly into the bathroom.

She would explain to him by morning anyway.

She quickly took her bath and arrived in the bedroom again.

This time, she felt so refreshed and relaxed.

She quickly lay on the other side of the bed and slowly fell asleep.

Maeve felt a hand on her waist, the next time she opened her eyes.

It was morning, she knew because she could see the sun streaking out through the window, pouring its light inside the room.

She tried to stand, but the hand was firm around her waist.

“Good morning wife.” The deep voice sounded in her ears making her shudder a little.

Maeve froze immediately.

She then realized she was married to the man who saved her last night.

“Aren’t you supposed to be paralyzed or unconscious?” She asked to hear him chuckle darkly.

“Surprisingly, I am not.

Isn’t that a miracle butterfly?” She immediately turned to look at him, her green eyes on him.

“Mr Grey, did you lie so that I would marry you?” She asked.

“What do you think?” He asked and she frowned.

She couldn’t believe it.

She had gotten married against her will.

How could she have been so foolish?

Two lives and she still couldn’t differentiate between the truth and lies.

“You tricked me into marrying you Mr Grey.

I want a divorce.” Clayton chuckled at her words.

“I guess you didn’t read the agreement very well then Mrs Grey.

You cannot just divorce me unless I permit it.” He smiled.

“This is going to be a very interesting marriage.

It’s a win-win on our part you know.

I know you need my money for your career as I need your face for mine.” He said.

Why does he need her face?

She wasn’t the most loved celebrity, if anything, her presence in his life would ruin him.

“Arrange your schedule for the day so that it does not fall around 11 am.

We’re going to the registry to get legally married.

We’ll also need to buy a ring by 10.

Pick a location and forward everything to me.”

“I’m sure you already know the rules to this marriage.

And I see you’re breaking one very important rule already.” He glanced at her body and she knew he was talking about his pajamas.

He got up dressed the bed, using his hands to arrange every spot to make sure there’s no fold.

Before rising to his feet.

Maeve was stunned for a moment…

Clayton Grey has manipulated her into marrying him with a fake heart problem.

“Come with me,” he said, his voice calm but leaving no room for hesitation.

“It’s time you met everyone.”
