The trio were in Stiles’ jeep in an empty area behind the school.

Scott was conscious again, holding his head.

“I’m sorry,” Leon sighed.Full novel: TEEN WOLF: HOMELANDER TEMPLATE IN THE MULTIVERSE — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“I truly didn’t mean to hide things from you guys, but the full moon was on the way, and I wanted you to get through it first before we talked.” Although he was lying, Leon genuinely regretted not being more honest with them.

After all, he still needed them.

“Yeah, okay,” Scott brushed him off, still a little pissed but calmer now.

“If you put it that way, it makes sense, but it’s still wrong,” Stiles said.

“So go ahead.

Tell us everything you know.”

“Alright,” Leon smiled.

“First of all, I don’t think I’m a Werewolf.”

“How do you know?

Other than assumptions from watching Scott, it shouldn’t be enough,” Stiles said.

“As far as we know, transformations and the Werewolf infection might behave differently depending on the host.

After all, Derek doesn’t seem to be affected by the full moon either.

He saved Scott and spoke with him just fine that day, so you two might be the same.”

“No, I’m 100% not a Werewolf,” Leon shook his head.

“I think whatever I am is different, because I can do this.”

Space shivered as a ring appeared in his hand.

It was a beautiful golden piece engraved with a king cobra.

It looked incredible.

Leon had been given the option to pick the engraving when he bought the ring from the shop, and he had picked the engraving he had once seen on his father’s ring.

“What the hell!” Stiles and Scott stared in shock as they watched the ring appear, then quickly vanish again.

“What was that?” Stiles asked.

“It’s a Spatial Pocket.

I have the ring and some other things in it,” Leon explained.

“I can easily store items whenever I want.”

“What?” Stiles’ eyes shone with wonder.

Even Scott, who had just been pissed at Leon, completely lost any sign of aggression and stared with wide eyes.

“It’s an ability I discovered around a day after getting bit,” Leon continued.

“I also have other abilities.

I can sense them, but I don’t know exactly what they are or how to activate them.”

“Is that Magic?” Stiles’ expression shifted quickly from shock to excitement.

“Since when does a Werewolf bite turn you into a fucking Wizard?”

“I don’t think I’m a wizard in that sense,” Leon continued.

“Maybe the Werewolf bite activates someone’s supernatural powers.

Perhaps Scott didn’t have any, so he turned into a werewolf.

Whereas I was different and became whatever this is.”

The trio conversed for a while, and the fear and anger the duo felt toward Leon slowly vanished as he answered all of their questions.

“Oh, one more thing,” Leon decided to tell them.

“Vampires are real too.”

“What?” Stiles and Scott were shocked once again.

“What the hell is going on?

Did we enter some novel or something?” Stiles asked, stunned.

“How do you know?”

“One attacked me when I was practicing my abilities in the preserve the other day.”

“WHAT?”

“It was weak and obviously not in a good shape, so I barely managed to win.

Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t be talking to you guys right now,” Leon said.

“I thought I’d tell you guys everything properly after the full moon, but a misunderstanding happened, and here we are.”

“Hold on, you fought and won?

Did it escape?” Stiles was even more invested in the conversation now.

After all, no one around here was as big of a geek as he was.

“No.

I killed it.”

“Where?

Show us!” Stiles said excitedly, ready to jump into the jeep.

“Alright.” Leon shrugged and waved his hand, cutting a sharp line through the air.

The space before them rippled like water, and with a heavy, hollow thud, a body dropped onto the floor.

A gray decay had spread from the jagged branch still buried deep in her chest, staining the tattered silk of her bodice.

Her skin was completely drained of life, the color of wet ash, with a web of black, dead veins frozen across her face and neck.

The transformation had been violently dry.

Her cheeks were sunken into deep shadows, her eyes had collapsed back into their sockets, and her lips shriveled away from her fangs.

Her body was completely rigid, her muscles locked tight against the dirt-caked laces of her corset.

Stiles and Scott recoiled instantly.

Scott stepped backward, his eyes blowing wide with a mix of pure revulsion and shock as he stared at the petrified horror.

Stiles froze entirely, his jaw dropping as the stale, dusty scent of old silk and ancient death hit the back of his throat.

Neither of them could take their eyes off the splintered wood protruding from her chest.

“Fuck,” Stiles cursed, speaking quickly.

“Put it back before someone sees.”

Leon waved his hand again, making the corpse vanish before he spoke.

“You believe me now?”

“You’ve been having your own adventures, haven’t you?” Stiles held his head, feeling a migraine coming along.

***********

In a dark room, Scott sat in front of his laptop, with Leon and Stiles talking on the screen.

“So, what did you find out?” Scott asked.

“About what Leon is?

Nothing!” Stiles said.

“The internet is filled with misleading crap, and nothing I found could be trusted.

So for now, we can only label him as a little wizard boy.”

“‘Little wizard boy’ suits him,” Scott chuckled.

“I would much rather you call me a Warlock,” Leon said, shaking his head.

His eyes looked ahead, turning the wheel as he drove.

He was on the road, talking to the duo on his phone, the image of him shaky.

“Anything else?” Scott asked.

“Well, I did some research and found many cases around the world of victims with their blood drained,” Stiles continued.

“But recently, a lot more keeps popping up in a town named Mystic Falls.

Maybe there is a large number of vampires there.

Other than that, I haven’t tested the blood Leon gave me yet, but I will soon.” He shook a small vial of red liquid on camera.

“We should do something about the vampires.

What if they come to our town?” Scott said.

“One of them was already here.

What if there are more?”

“What are you talking about, man?

You should worry about yourself and how not to rip someone else’s head off before you worry about vampires,” Leon spoke, shaking his head.

“Plus, without perfect control, you wouldn’t even stand a chance against those fuckers.”

“Fine, but we need to find their weaknesses,” Scott said.

“I don’t want anything to happen to my mom.”

“Just give her the ring I gave you,” Leon said.

He waved his hand on camera, showing a beautiful golden ring.

“I gave you each two rings — one for you and one for your parent.

As long as they’re wearing them, they’re immune to compulsion.” Leon explained again.

“As for normal attacks, we need to get our hands on some vervain.

As long as they have some in their blood, those vampires won’t even touch them.”

Since he had received an extra 30 SE from his little fight with Scott, Leon had instantly bought three more rings.

He had five rings now — the two he had planned on giving his parents but they were not in town, so he gave one each for Scott, Stiles, and their parents, while keeping one for himself.

Leon’s parents, Lara and Finn, had come home yesterday but left again this morning and weren’t back yet, so he decided to give them another pair of rings another time.

Earlier today, with 22 SE left, Leon used twenty to push his template straight to 10%.

Remembering what unlocked when he did that, he couldn’t help but smile.

[Current SE: 2]

“I already did, she likes it,” Scott said.

“Are you sure it’ll work?

And where can we even get vervain?”

“I already looked it up, we can order some online,” Stiles said.

“It’s a bit expensive though, so you two will have to pay for your share.”

“Alright,” both Scott and Leon agreed.

“Oh, and Jackson’s got a separated shoulder,” Stiles remembered.

“Is he gonna play?” Scott asked.

He was still thinking about the vampire issue and had no interest in Jackson’s situation.

“They don’t know yet.

Now they’re counting on you and Leon for Saturday,” Stiles nodded.

Scott sighed, but then Stiles suddenly leaned in, looking closer at his screen as if trying to get a better look at something.

Stiles’ eyes widened in fear and alarm.

However, the computer connection started to glitch, and the screen froze, preventing Scott from seeing or hearing anything else Stiles said.

Once this became clear to Stiles, he switched to typing and sent a message.

“It looks like what?” Scott asked.

After some buffering, the next message appeared: “Someone’s behind you.”

Scott opened his video feed and zoomed in.

A man stood directly behind him, staring intently.

Scott gasped, slamming his feet down to shove his rolling chair backward.

He spun around.

It was Derek.

Before Scott could even stand, Derek snatched him by the back of his hoodie, hauled him to his feet, and shoved him face-first against the wall.

He pinned him there, growling with pure fury.

“I saw you on the field!” Derek snarled.

“Wha—what are you talking about?” Scott stammered, his face pressed against the drywall.

“You shifted in front of them!” Derek snapped.

“If they find out what you are, they find out about me — about all of us.

And then it’s not just the Hunters after us, it’s everyone.”

Scott’s chest heaved as panic set in, his breathing turning into a ragged hyperventilation.

“They didn’t see anything!

I s—swear, I—”

“And they won’t,” Derek cut him off, his voice dead, cold, and absolute.

“Because if you even try to play in that game on Saturday, I’m gonna kill you–”

BAM.

The bedroom window suddenly shattered inward as Leon burst through the frame.

Before Derek could even react to the exploding glass, Leon’s hands clamped around the collar of his jacket.

With a surge of raw, violent force, Leon wrenched him away from Scott and hurled him straight backward out the open window.

Derek flew through the air, crashing hard onto the asphalt below and tumbling down the street with a brutal, echoing smack.

“Leon?

What are you doing here?” Scott asked, still reeling from the shock.

“I’ll explain later.

Help me!”

Leon didn’t waste a second.

He vaulted back through the shattered window, dropping toward the street just as Derek was pulling himself up from the pavement.

A second later, Scott scrambled out after him, clumsily grabbing the edge of the roof to break his fall before landing hard on the grass, nearly losing his footing entirely.

Leon didn’t give him the chance to explain.

Rushing forward in a sudden blur of motion, Leon closed the distance before Derek could reset his footing.

Derek growled, his eyes glowing a brilliant sky blue as his fangs slid out and his claws bared, ready for blood.

He watched Leon approach.

The kid was fast, but his speed was not even close to his own.

Derek confidently timed the trajectory, fully believing he could dodge the assault and throw a devastating counter-punch of his own to teach this rude bastard a lesson.

But what he expected didn’t happen.

The moment Leon closed the distance, his eyes flashed a menacing, dark red light.

Twin beams of laser energy shot out from his retinas, striking Derek dead in the chest.

The concussive blast instantly lifted Derek off his feet, ripping him through the air and sending him flying backward down the street.

The force of the blast knocked Derek flat on his back, the sudden impact rattling his bones as he skidded across the asphalt.

Scott stood frozen on the lawn, his jaw dropping so low it felt unhinged.

His breath hitched.

Seeing his friend shoot actual, literal red lasers out of his eyes completely broke his understanding of reality.

He couldn’t even form words, his gaze darting frantically between Leon’s face and the smoking Derek.

Derek pushed himself up onto his elbows, completely bewildered.

He looked down at his chest in absolute disbelief.

The attack had looked terrifying, but the actual damage didn’t match the spectacle.

Leon’s powers were clearly still weak, barely strong enough to pierce a supernatural’s hardened skin and muscle.

Derek’s leather jacket and shirt were completely torn open, ruined and smoldering at the center.

Right on his chest sat a raw, angry red burn mark — painful and singed, but already beginning to slowly disappear thanks to his healing factor.

Derek stared up at Leon, his sky-blue eyes wide with a mixture of shock, confusion, and deep irritation.

All he wanted to do was warn Scott, but he had not expected to be beaten and attacked like this.

Wasn’t that the other kid that was bit too?

How the hell did he do that just now?

Derek was thoroughly confused.

[Laser Eyes: Lv1]

Leon never expected a locked ability to open up already.

Even if he had, he thought X-ray vision would be the first, and he certainly never expected it to be Laser Eyes.
