[Argents House]
“Why does he always do this?
He always tries to control who I can and can’t be friends with.” Allison was fuming outside after seeing her dad threaten Malcolm.
“I’m sorry about my dad; he always does this whenever we try to make new friends.” She apologized.
“It’s ok he’s just trying to protect you in his own lethat way.
Besides, a gun isn’t dangerous till you pull the trigger.”
“You look beautiful, by the way.
I guess I was right about the color scheme.” Malcolm looks at her with a smile.
She was wearing a Black shirt and dark blue baggy jeans, with a pair of white-and-brown shoes.
Her height was perfectly shown without the need for high heels.
Little to no makeup, and that adorable smile of hers makes you want to just hold her cheeks in your hands.
“Thanks, you look great too.” She says with a smile.
“Shall we?” Malcolm opens the door for her and holds her hand, helping her get in the car.
He circles and enters the driver’s seat, starts the car, and off they go.
During the ride, they had conversations about their pasts and bonded over a shared experience of overprotective parents.
Malcolm would occasionally steal glances at Allison while they talked.
With enhanced hearing and sight, he wasn’t afraid of crashing.
On an open road, Allison decided to open a window, her hair flowing naturally and beautifully.
The sun sat so perfectly on her, almost as if nature itself had accepted her.
Once they reached their destination, he took her to an outdoor shooting range for guns, bows, and arrows.
The place was empty, with only them and a few other staff members.
Malcolm had purposefully rented out the place just for the occasion.
“This is for you.” He handed her a huntsman bow along with explosive-tipped arrows.
It was a sleek black bow, sturdy, and the string was purposefully built to snip from a distance.
They went into the shooting range and had a little challenge.
Whoever lost would have whatever the winner ordered for them.
The result was pretty obvious: Allison’s experience with the bow gave her an advantage, letting her win.
After the shooting, they went to a nice family restaurant where Allison ordered him Sushi with wasabi covered all over it.
“You are evil, y’know that,” Malcolm said from the pain of his enhanced taste.
“You reap what you sow,” She said, trying not to laugh and failing.
After finishing their lunch, Malcolm paid for the meal, and they went back to the car and drove to their next destination.
[Gloria’s POV]
Alright, all that’s left is to refresh the fluids, and I’m done.
I wonder how my little pup is doing with his mate?
I’ll interrogate him when he gets home.
I should probably get ready to head over to Melissa’s place.
She finished up with the car and went to clean up and get ready to head to Melissa’s house.
She wore skinny jeans with a white shirt, high heels, and a brown jacket.
She grabbed her purse and went to the garage, locked the door, and got in the family car.
She arrived at the McCall residence, got out of the car, went to the front door of the house, and knocked.
‘I can hear footsteps almost as if someone was trying not to fall.’ Gloria had to hold her laughter after realizing who it was.
A few seconds later, the door opened, and there stood Melissa McCall.
“Hey, Melissa, you ready to go?”
“Uhh, yeah, just give me a sec, SCOTT, I’M HEADING OUT.
MAKE SURE YOU’RE HOME BY THE TIME I GET BACK.” Scott heard his mom from upstairs in his room.
“Yeah, no problem.” He replies.
“Ok now I’m ready.
Let’s go.”
They both get in the car and drive off to the mall to do some shopping and get to know each other.
Whenever Gloria tried to buy something for Melissa, she’d always feel guilty, as if she were taking advantage of her.
‘What has she been through to deny even a small gift?
That’s it, I’m solving this with her now.’ Gloria took her by the hand and pulled her to the nearest hair Salon to get her hair done.
“Gloria, you really don’t have to do this at all-” “We’re doing this, and I am taking no for an answer.
Now sit”
Gloria sat next to her, and they both had their hair done.
Gloria had her voluminous curly hair, and Melissa had their hair washed cause hospital they had to tie it into a bun or braid them to avoid getting infected with unknown diseases.
After getting their hair done, they went to a nice food place and got something to eat, and this time Gloria avoided any restaurants to help her feel at ease.
When they finished eating, they bought a few clothes.
“Look at you, all prettied up.
See, you look good.” Gloria said to Melissa in a white dress and denim jacket.
“Are you sure I don’t look weird?” Melissa asked, looking at what she was wearing.
‘I’d prefer what’s underneath those clothes-Damn it, no, calm down, we’re here to have fun, not sexually assault her with my eyes.’ Gloria was lost in her own world.
“Gloria, you ok?
You staring for a second there.” Melissa called out to her, bringing her back to reality.
“Huh-uhh yeah, just got lost in thought, that’s all.” She said, trying to avoid the topic.
“About what?”
“Hmm,” Gloria said.
‘Trust me, you don’t wanna know the answer to that.’ She thought to herself.
“Ohh, nothing important,”
They bought a few outfits and headed to the car.
“Let’s go to my house and relax and watch some TV, y’know, take it easy, no noise or calls, just peace,” Gloria suggested, starting the car.
“Yeah, why not?
Sounds good, let’s go.”
They drove to Gloria’s home and relaxed for the rest of the day.
[Malcolm POV]
We decided to end the date with a little picnic in the forest on a cliff to watch the sunset.
The day was perfect without any supernatural disturbances.
“So, did you enjoy today?”
“Yeah, except the part where you beat me in that basketball shooting game at the carnival,” Allison replied.
“Hey, I had to get you back somehow after you beat me at the shooting range.”
They sat together, enjoying the food they bought for the picnic, and had a few conversations about their hopes for the future and enjoyed each other’s company.
“Lemme go get the pizza from the car.” Malcolm walked a few steps to the car, took out the pizza, made sure everything was perfect, then went back to Allison.
She opened the pizza box and saw that the top was written with something: “Will you be my girlfriend or is this too cheesy?”
She looked at him momentarily frozen, then smiled and wrapped her arms around him in a hug; he returned the hug, burying his face on her shoulder.
“So is that a yes cause my heart’s kinda threatening to jump out of my chest?” He said jokingly.
“Yes, definitely, but it was a bit cheesy, but mostly funny and thoughtful,” Allison said with a smile.
Malcolm leaned in and kissed her.
The sunset was beautiful as the two sealed their relationship in a warm and loving embrace.
Their hearts beat in sync as they fell deeper into the kiss and explored each other’s bodies.
They separated and cuddled.
