[Argent’s House]

Outside the house, Allison and Malcolm stood by the car in one last warm embrace before she had to go inside the house and face a potentially curious, gossiping twin sister.

“Today was amazing, thanks for everything,” Allison said, her face buried in his chest.Full novel: Teen Wolf : The Progenitor — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“I should be thanking you for blessing me with such an adorable,” Malcolm said with absolute satisfaction.

“I’ll pick you up for school tomorrow ok.”

“Already clingy, and we just started dating,” Allison said with a cheeky smile.

“I don’t know if you know this, but some guys were looking at you like hungry cougars, horny cougars,” Malcolm said in defence.

“And it’s not clingy; it’s called being territorial.

I’m not the sharing type; never have and never will.”He added.

Allison laughed quietly and shook her head.

“If you say so, Mr Wolf.

”

“I should go now; my dad probably has a whole interrogation team waiting for me.” She said, looking back at the house.

Malcolm gives her a goodbye kiss and accompanies her to the front door.

They hug one last time and say goodbye to each other before she closes the door.

Malcolm starts his car and drives off to go meet Derek in the forest as arranged.

Allison, inside the house, was met by the gaze of her stern-looking father.

“Where were you and that boy?” Chris asked.

“We were just out having fun and enjoying the weekend; nothing bad happened,” Allison replied.

“I don’t trust that little punk.” Chris voiced his frustration.

“Dad, you literally threatened his life with your gun.

That’s called brandishing a firearm.” Allison said, then angrily walked up the stairs to her room.

[Beacon Hills Preserve Entrance]

Malcolm pulled into the forest and saw Derek leaning against his Black Camaro.

He got out of his car and walked up to him.

“Good, you’re here.

Let’s get straight to it; that alpha stole the alpha spark from your sister cause he obviously had plans.” Malcolm said.

“Because he wasn’t strong enough as a beta.

His drive is probably some sort of revenge.” Derek adds.

“Exactly.”

“So what do you suggest we do?” Derek asked, looking curious.

“He’s after Scott because he’s his beta, and he’s currently trying to build a pack and get stronger and claim this territory as his, which is a direct challenge to me.” Malcolm walked closer to the forest.

“We get Scott to try and draw him in.

I’ve helped Scott control his shift so he doesn’t randomly start killing people and exposing himself and the supernatural world,” Malcolm continued.

“How?” Derek asked.

Malcolm answered casually.

“Beating the crap out of him till he lost control, and I also taught him a few tricks.

But that Alpha can still force a change in him with the Alpha’s Command.”

He turns and heads back to his car.

“And Derek, don’t do anything stupid like going after the Alpha yourself.

You’ll get that spark; just be patient.”

Malcolm starts the R8 and makes his way home.

On the way back home, his head is filled with all sorts of scenarios, some from the original timeline.

My current biggest weakness is Allison; if she were to get kidnapped, her life would easily be in danger.

I need to make sure that never happens; this isn’t just a show anymore.

I’ll kill all who threaten my family.

[Malcolm’s House]

He pulls into the driveway and parks the car in the garage.

Inside, he notices two voices are coming from the kitchen.

He uses his hearing and recognizes the voice; it’s Mellissa McCall.

“Ma, I’m home.” He calls out to the kitchen.

Gloria and Melissa come out of the kitchen holding plates of food.

They set up at the dinner table.

He walks up to his mom and hugs her.

“Welcome home, mijo.

How was your date with Allison?” She asks.

“It was amazing, and we made things official.” He replies with a smile on his face.

“I’m happy for you, my little pup.

Don’t fuck it up; she’s a keeper, that one.” She said, looking serious.

Malcolm gave her a mock salute and said, “Ma’am, yes, Ma’am.”

“Good, now meet Melissa.

You remember her from yesterday’s game, Scott’s mom.” She gestures towards her.

“Hi, Melissa.

It’s nice to meet you.” He hugs her in greeting.

“Thanks for welcoming me here.

I’m glad you and Scott are friends.” She accepts the hug.

They separate and take their seats.

Melissa and Gloria sit next to each other while Malcolm sits across the table facing them.

The connection between the two women is hard to deny; they both make the other happy like two lovers who’ve longed to see each other.

Dinner was filled with happy smiles and great conversations.

Once dinner was finished, Malcolm took the dishes and washed them.

Gloria grabbed her keys and drove Melissa home.

“That was an amazing day.

I just wish Scott could’ve been there to enjoy it with us.” Melissa said.

“Well then, he can come next time, and he and Malcom can have a play date while the grown-ups do grown-up things,” Gloria replied.

“Hahahahaha, wow, that was adorable, but yeah, I’ll bring him over next time.” Melissa happily replied.

“Ohh, so you find me adorable?

That’s a first.

I mean, I know I’m hot, but I haven’t heard that one since I was a kid.” Gloria playfully teases.

“Ohh, like that’s true,” Melissa replied.

“No, really, thanks for the compliment.

You’re pretty cute yourself with a bit of elegance and kinda hot.” Gloria said without realizing.

‘Did she just call me hot?

Wait, is she into me like that ok calm down, Melissa.

Take it easy.

Deep breaths in and out; there we go.’ Melissa was having a mental therapy session with herself.

‘SHIT, what is wrong with me?

Why can’t I be normal in front of her?

Wait, no, no, no, no, no, it can’t be what I think it is.’ Gloria was having a sudden realization of what was happening.

They pulled up to Melissa’s house.

They both got out of the car; Gloria walked with her all the way to the front door.

“Thanks again for today.

I haven’t had a relaxed day like that in a long time.” Melissa said.

“It was no problem.

I enjoyed spending today with you.”

“I’ll come pick you up tomorrow for work,” Gloria said.

Melissa was a bit taken aback but agreed nonetheless, “Yeah, totally, I’d really like that.”

They approached each other, and what was supposed to be a friendly hug was turned into a full embrace that lasted for a full minute.

Melissa was shorter, so she could feel the full warmth of Gloria’s body.

On the other hand, Gloria was already starting to imprint on her; her instincts were screaming to take her now.

“Uhh, Mom?” Scott’s voice came from the door that opened, making the two snap back to reality.

” I-I’ll see you tomorrow then.

Nice seeing you, Scott.

Bye.” Gloria rushed to her car and drove off.

Melissa was still standing and muttered, “Yeah, see you.”

[Malcolm’s House]

Gloria parks the car in the garage, walks inside the house, and notices Malcolm watching TV and sitting next to him.

She places her face in her hands and lets out a long sigh.

“What, did something happen?” Malcolm, noticing his mom isn’t in her usual happy spirits, asks her.

“Yeah…

she’s my mate.” The words came out like any other sentence, but they carried a huge weight like no other.

Malcolm pauses the TV and sits up straight.

“I’m happy for you, Mom.”

“This shouldn’t be possible; you only get one mate in your lifetime,” Gloria said, her voice barely audible.

“Look, Mom, I get it, you’re torn between Mama, who passed away, and Melissa, but I doubt she’d want you to be single and alone forever.

Now you have a second chance at love.

So don’t fight it and just accept it and let yourself be happy; you deserve it.”

“Thanks, mijo.

Maybe you’re right.

I’ll stop holding back and go after what I like.” She pulls him into a hug.

“Anytime, just don’t fuck this one up; she’s a keeper.” He fires her previous words back at her.

Gloria slaps him on the back using a bit of werewolf strength.

“Don’t push it.”

They laugh and enjoy the rest of the night.

After some time passes, they both head upstairs and go to their rooms.

Malcolm decided to text Alisson before going to sleep.

Malcolm: {Goodnight, Mi Amor}

Alisson: {Goodnight Mal}

Malcolm: {Can’t wait to see you tomorrow}

Alisson: {Me too}

He puts his phone on the table and goes to sleep with a smile.
