Nathan looked thoughtfully at the bodies for a second, then got up and stepped carefully between them. As he was walking, his eyes narrowed as he wiped some blood off his face.

From then on, he would face the real danger. Most of the mercenaries were situated in groups. He didn't dwell much on it and opened the door.

After walking in the dark for a few minutes, he came across the warehouse room. To get to the top floor, he had to pass through here.Full novel: Teen Wolf: The Soul Collector — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

He even got the information on what was so important that they had so many people guarding it.

This was where they were storing their cocaine and heroin. Which he didn't find that much surprising considering that they were trafficking people as well.

Slowly pushing the doors open, he entered the large room. The room was filled with big boxes, some even having stuffed toys on the top.

In the distance, he could see 3 people behind some large boxes discussing the electricity problem. They had lights on their rifles, so Nathan walked very slowly towards them.

Feeling close enough, he stopped and looked at the rifle in his hand, then he shook his head. The noise from the gun would be an instant tell that something was wrong, and then he would have a dozen armed men storming the room.

Nathan took a deep breath and clenched his fists. He could feel his heart rate rising as the familiar sensation of adrenaline went through him.

Without hesitation, he sprinted and used a box as a ladder to jump toward the group of people. His knee rose high as his eyes made contact with one of the mercenaries.

"Crack!"

The sound was pretty unpleasant as the man dropped unconscious to the ground. The moment that Nathan landed, his body spun immediately, and the gun that was about to be pointed at him was thrown into the distance.

"Fuck! Who are you?!" The man stared at his aching hand in astonishment.

Nathan didn't respond, and just then he felt the one to the left moving. The corner of his eye caught the fist that was heading for his jaw, but he could only watch as it made impact.

"Puff!" Saliva flew from his mouth as he fell to the ground. Stars appeared in his vision, but his mind made his body unconsciously get up quickly.

He spat the blood in his mouth on the floor and looked at the one that hit him. "Not bad!" In that moment, both of the men attacked him from the front and the back.

Nathan grabbed the arm of the one in front of him and shifted his body weight, and with it, the man flew straight into the ground, successfully dodging the other one's attack as well.

Not ready for a full brawl, Nathan swept the dagger across the neck of the one on the ground and turned and did a sweep kick to the one standing.

Facing him eye to eye, Nathan didn't hesitate and plunged the dagger into his neck. He twisted it as he watched the man's life fading away.

Then he turned to the one unconscious, and his dagger stopped right as he was about to stab him.

But in that moment, he remembered what the fate of the children he saved would have been if he wasn't there, and the hesitation disappeared.

Nathan watched as 3 fragments flew into his body and closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

[Intermediate Firearms]

Current Progress: 25% -> 40% -> 50%

[Basic Stealth]

Current Progress: 0% -> 30%

He looked at the progress of Firearms thoughtfully. He didn't expect he would reach half so quickly, but then he thought it made sense since the opponents were obviously more experienced than the ones he faced before.

As for the fact that Basic Stealth had such a big increase, he felt like one of the men he killed had an Intermediate level of the skill, and that's why it increased so much. Just like when he killed the officers.

Suddenly, Nathan heard some voices getting closer and the door opening. Just then, the lights suddenly turned on, and his vision blurred from the sudden light.

Thankfully, his goggles were raised, or else this would have been even worse. The moment his vision came back, he saw the mercenaries that entered.

In a split-second decision, before they could fully see him, he raised the rifle and started shooting bullet after bullet.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!"
