The silence in the warehouse was broken as the sound of the semiautomatic rifle firing continuously echoed through it.
Before the mercenaries could even comprehend what happened, a rain of bullets washed over them, and some were even unfortunate enough to die from the first bullet.
Nathan didn't stop until he saw them all fall to the ground and six fragments flying away from their bodies.

He didn't concentrate that much on the progress as he could hear shouts from the remaining men. The sound of the bullets could be heard throughout all of the building, so his advantage was gone.
Just as Nathan was considering his next course of action, on the top floor of the building, the boss, Patrick, glared at his subordinate who had just come in.
"What the hell is going on?!"
The man was carrying a laptop with him, and hearing Patrick's shout made him respond, trembling. "I-I think that someone is attacking us. We don't know their number."
Patrick glanced disdainfully at him, then tried to concentrate on hearing what was going on.
Unfortunately, the loud noise that his men were making interfered with what he was trying to do, and this made him even angrier. "You good-for-nothing! Get out there and find out!"
The man opened his mouth, wanting to protest that he wasn't a fighter, but the fierce glare he got from Patrick made him shut up, and he hurriedly walked away.
On the first floor, Nathan finally decided to go on and slowly approached the hallway that was leading directly to the stairs.
Just as he was about to turn the corner, he suddenly stopped and took a little mirror from his pocket, and used it to see the situation on the other side.
At the end of the hallway, just beside the stairs, a man was standing there with his gun pointing right at the spot where he would have been if he didn't stop.
Before he could think of a solution on how to get rid of him, footsteps were heard from the stairs as three more people entered the picture.
The leading man looked around and glanced at the one standing guard. "Did you see anything?"
The man shook his head and slowly turned his gun towards the floor. Just then, something was heard dropping to the floor and rolling down into the middle of them.
Suddenly, a thick white smoke emerged from the object on the ground, and before they could react, their vision became obstructed.
Just as the original guard was about to point toward the entrance, a couple of bullets flew straight toward him.
The first did the job, as by luck it struck the man straight in his eye and made him drop to the floor helplessly.
"Shots fired! Get to cover!" The leading man shouted as he jumped without hesitation, managing to avoid getting hit.
The other two hurried and took cover as well, but one of them was still grazed on the shoulder by a bullet.
Nathan knew that one of them died for certain because of the fragment, so he had three more enemies.
Instead of throwing the remaining flash grenade, suddenly he thought of something else and concentrated on his inventory and took something out.
He took a few cans of beverage and threw them right across the mercenaries' heads, landing directly behind them.
The noise startled them, and they pointed their guns towards the direction of the sound. Just then, the leader's pupils suddenly shrank as he thought of something.
Just as he was about to shout to warn his men, a wave of bullets made holes in his body and the man right next to him.
Strangely enough, the only survivor was the one who was wounded first and took cover right behind some unused desks.
The man trembled as he heard his colleagues fall to the ground, and tears formed in his eyes. From the looks of it, he was in his 20s. Just then, he heard footsteps coming closer.
"Go to hell!" He gritted his teeth and raised his gun and started shooting until a click was heard from the gun.
The footsteps stopped, and a huge sigh of relief escaped his mouth. Just as he was about to reach for a spare magazine, his eyes froze as a pistol was pointing straight at his forehead.
"Please! I have—!" "Bang!" His words were cut short as a bullet entered his brain.
Nathan didn't spare him a second look, and he began reloading his weapons. At the same time, he took a few seconds to concentrate on his gains.
